Every time I need to get service done to my car, it's like they are afraid to communicate and provide transparency. I had to get my windshield changed, they wouldn't answer my calls or calls from insurance. Currently getting an oil leak repaired and my car has been there for over 12 hours-no update on status and no one is answering the phone. I also believe they are either fraudulent and money hungry or they hired incompetent mechanics. I've had work done outside of the service timelines, getting something's done early, and it's like they cannot tell the work has been done or just expect me to not notice they are pushing for unnecessary work. read more

However, while I was checking out the manager or owner interrupted us multiple times...lack of professionalism noted THIS WAS MY COMPLIMENTARY (FREE) MAINTENANCE SERVICE AFTER PURCHASE ~ 7,000 miles -When dealership was owned by Hennessy Mazda, I never waited over two hours for a SCHEDULED maintenance service. -During the service video, technician made me aware the filters would NOT be exchange. Once I agreed to drive down and purchase, he then told me the car I selected sold, but had 2 other colored cars similar. I wanted an exact colored car, not the ones offered up. The name of this business has been changed from Hennessey to ALM. The job was done (a simple oil change and tire rotation). The staff were pleasant and polite. The restroom was clean. The waiting room was pleasant enough. However, the wait was long despite the simplicity of what was being done. The scheduling process was terrible. I should be able to call and talk to someone. There should be an online calendar that I can see what time slots are available and choose one. Instead, a phone call gives you the option for someone to call back (which never happened from my first phone call) or a text link. The text link just takes you back to the website and that still means waiting for someone to call you back (with a very long delay if it happens at all). Additionally, the coupons online are basically just for normal prices. The free multipoint inspection is going to be done for free no matter what because that's how you prod people to buy things they don't need. Finally, I was not informed by the scheduler that credit cards would have a surcharge tacked on. It also was not prominently displayed on the website. Even this survey has an issue. If a company is truly interested in feedback to improve service, it would not require consent for theThe job got done survey response to be used in marketing materials. read more

I have downgraded this place from 3 stars to 1. I have experienced the absolute worst service ever. I took my vehicle in for two specific issues (check engine light and starter issues). They told me they "fixed" both issues. I left. The next day I experienced the same two issues again. Brought my vehicle back the next day, was told they never looked at the starter and that needs to be replaced. And as far as the check engine light, they forgot to reset the sensor. The next day check engine light is on AGAIN. I return for the third day in a row and Tim Chonn gave me a loaner vehicle, said some techs will be fired (I highly doubt that actually happened) and sent me on my way. One week later, I return to get more items out of my car. They can't find any paperwork on my vehicle; therefore, it takes them a while to locate it. Nevertheless, they find it and bring it to the front. I notice the front door and seat are covered in grease. Another week later, I get a voicemail stating that they are going to start charging me storage fees for my vehicle. Wth!!! I drive there that day and was told that they have been trying to reach me. Lies!! Additionally, I was told that the coil pack just needed to be replaced. So the initial $400 I paid the first time you thought you solved the issue had nothing to do with the issue?? At this point, I am just tired and over Hennessey Mazda. The next day I notice that the underpart of my car is hanging off!! I return yet again and have them secure it. Only to find that it is hanging off again later that same day. Unfortunately, and probably fortunate for them, I cannot return as I have put my vehicle in storage and am traveling for work. I am furious and stressed. I know that when I return from work, they will say that I have been gone too long and they don't know what to attribute the situation to. Also, when they "secured" it the first time, they did not notate it, the guy simply pulled it into the shop, because I was in a rush to get to the airport. Heed my words, if you care anything about your car, time and money, do NOT, I repeat NOT, come here. You can never reach someone on the phone and they never return messages. Let me begin by first saying that I LOATHE shopping for a car. Not so much the "window shopping," that's the fun part...but the actual negotiating/haggling process. I hate it. So, we went through the Sam's TrueCar Program (highly recommend) to eliminate much of that part of the process. I got an email via TrueCar with an offer for pretty much exactly what we were looking for through Hennessy Mazda...among several other offers in the surrounding Georgia businesses along with our local Tn dealerships as well. Hennessy had the best price. My husband and I decided to make the 2+ hour trip. Since I hadn't connected with anyone personally there yet...and I'm a firm believer in researching reviews to find the best possible person to help us, I did just that. I searched the reviews on more than one venue. I came across Dee Hines, time and time again. Rave reviews! I knew he would be our guy, Lord willing. I called...and the Lord was willing! :) He happened to be at work that day. We arrived at the dealership and I was wowed! I had been to a couple of local one's and they had nothing on this dealership. Very nice in every way imaginable! Refreshments, snacks, a beautiful showroom! Just a lovely display. Dee Hines greeted us with a smile and warm handshake and, what I thought was going to be such a grueling, dreaded process actually turned into a pretty smooth, and uncomplicated overall experience. Dee answered every single question thoroughly and efficiently. I could tell he was doing his best to make us feel as relaxed as possible...and he did. He's even been available to answer any follow-up concerns since then. Pretty great! We ended up getting the gorgeous car we had traveled there for and we left feeling like we made all the right choices. So--if you're looking for a dealership, I HIGHLY recommend Hennessy Mazda. I do not recommend the service department. Extremely rude overpriced service. Car returned with cracking in screen they said was heat related and not their fault. Mazda screens do have issues with heat but the way they treated me about it left me not trusting anything they did. I wanted to express my disappointment with the service department at Hennessy Mazda. I recently brought my 2009 Mazda MX5 to the dealership to have the AC repaired. Initially, I wasquoted $3,200.00, but later was informed there would be an additional $500.00 for a total of $3,700.00. After my son picked up the car he returned it after noticing it was only slightly cooler. When my son return the car to me I notice the car was not cooling. I spoke with Shea the service rep who I feel doesnt have good customer service. The next day I received a video from the mechanic outlining additional repairs totaling almost $4,000.00. As customers, we go to dealerships expecting proper diagnosis and confidence in repairs. I feel the initial mechanic misdiagnosed the issue and had me replace parts that didn't need to be replaced. I made an appointment and drove 40 minutes to test drive a new plug in hybrid. Once there I waited a very long time for them to get the car ready. On the test drive the first stop was to put gas in it. So it wasn't ready. The biggest problem the battery wasn't even charged. In fact, they told me none of their PHEVs were charged. The entire reason I drove so far was to test drive a plug in hybrid in EV mode. Then they had the cojones to ask me when I could come back to test drive it in EV mode. While they were polite and apologetic, it was a complete waste of several hours of my day. I will be shopping elsewhere. read more

I have a mazda 3. It was having a little transmission problem where it was on crawl mode. It would not shift to high from low. It was a solenoid problem. We took it to Hennessey service. They kept the car for a few days. That was OK. They finally called us and said it was a solenoid problem and that they would have to take the transmission apart to replace the part which is inside the transmission case. It would cost $4000. We, of course said no way. We had already trouble shot the problem and knew what it was before they tools us. We later took it to Aamco. The place was tremendously busy but they took us in and looked at the car. First off, he said that it needed fluid. WHAT? He then cleared the codes. He came in and told us, "it's all good". Again, WHAT? He said it was good. Just needed to be looked at until the seal is fixed. Nice! We tried to pay for the time and he refused where it cost us about $150 at mazda to get nothing. They were not helpful, just looking to make $4000 bucks. Shame on them. You absolutley suck. I will call the manager as soon as I get home. My next call will be to mazda corporate. I would not being my car here for any repair. They cannot be trusted. read more

I bought a Mazda CX50 in October 2022 and in February 2023 the car stopped running. Got it towed to the dealership and they found that rodents chewed the wiring. I honestly do not what animal did it or how it's also parked in my driveway. It's been over a month and a simple wiring replacement haven't been done because it wire harness is on back order until May. So I would be without a vehicle for 3 months. This is ridiculous, they said if a buy a harness not certified by Mazda my warranty will be nullified. So I'm supposed to pay for a rental because they won't give me a loaner or rental because it's not a manufacturing problem. This is exactly why I own Lexus vehicles for all my car driving years. I finally gave another car dealership a chance and I get horrible service. Honestly can't wait for the vehicle to get fixed so I can get rid of it and go back to Lexus because this has been a horrible experience with Mazda. DO NOT buy a Mazda especially not a CX-50. They accelerate slow and is not a great experience driving and the dealership takes forever to update you on your own vehicle every time you call they always going to have someone call you back and never do. You have to find a way to get to the dealership to find out what is going on with your own vehicle and they're not accommodating at all. Have a pleasant day everyone. read more

Background prior to going to Hennessey Mazda.  My car had broken down on 04/28/2023. At that point I had my car towed to a very reputable repair shop near my home in Coweta County.  The repair shop did an extensive inspection at my request, along with determining that my vehicle had a computer issue.  Everything was checked, and the only issue that was found was the PCM issue (they did a visual, code, check etc).   At that point, they decided to call in a specialist who could repair the PCM at their shop.  After speaking with the shop, they told me it would be much better to take the car to a Mazda dealership repair shop, as they have all the equipment in site, it would take less time to repair the vehicle, and that it would cost less due to the fact I would have to pay the specialist charge.  (One to diagnosis the PCM, and then to come back out to program the PCM and install it.   At that point, I had the car towed to Hennessey Mazda on 05/16/2023 for an early morning appointment on 05/18/2023.  I was told on Wednesday afternoon, the car would need an ECU, along with 3 to 4 other parts.  I told them to go ahead with the repair, and they stated the car would be ready by Thursday. Thursday they let me know it was actually a PCM problem, and that it would be ready by Monday afternoon, no later than Tuesday Morning.  This is due to shipping the part, and then installation.  I was then promised a loaner car for Saturday morning.  When I called Saturday, I was told they did not have a loaner car for me.  On Monday, I called again. And was told at 11am, the car was being worked on, When I spoke to someone (Amir) Monday evening, I was told/[promised it would be ready Tuesday. I tried to call multiple times on Tuesday and got no response. At around 5pm Tuesday evening, I was then told I needed a second key.  I could either buy one for 450, or bring up my second key.  I talked to the manager, and he let me purchase a key at cost, for 250. Once again I was told the car would be ready early Wednesday.   ON 05/17/2023,  the car was finally ready by 4:30pm.  The car was then picked up.  And I was only given half of the key I paid for. 7 minutes after leaving the repair shop., the check engine light came on.  I called and told the manager I would bring the car back on Friday.  After it got home, we put it on a code reader.  The code showed, P0421. We reset the code.  Then as I was driving today, 6 to 7 minutes after I drove it, the check engine light came back on. When I called the original shop I took it to, they stated the PCM needs programmed/reset/redone.  If it is not done correctly., it will flash error messages.  When I explained this to Hennessey Mazda, I was automatically told there was nothing they could do, and they would have to automatically replace the catalytic converter.  They were not even willing to work with me to see if the PCM was even set up correctly. I was then told that due to me driving after I had the misfire (when the car broke down, it was all on me).  I did not drive the car any time after the car has the misfire. They are rude, incompetent and simply put, have a bad attitude. This has got to be trickling down from management. The good ones leave. This service department is a joke, I typically take my car to Mazda of Roswell but since I recently moved I tried to give them a try which I've been before in the past and the service wasn't great then but decided to try again (big mistake). I got an oil change they listed 7 things as critical one of the items had been replaced by Roswell dealership a year ago which at that time I had the car for 4 years and now a year later you're telling me the same belt needs to be replaced after 1 year. It didn't sound right to me so when I booked the appointment I asked specifically about the item that had been replaced by Roswell dealership and they told me if the technician recommended it they saw cracks. So I scheduled the appointment and let them know that my car is covered under the extended warranty which they kept insisting that these were maintenance issues and they aren't going to cover it and I asked about my alternator belt again and once again and told them it was under warranty when the last dealership replaced it so I don't see why it wouldn't be now. Fast forward to the day of my appointment I dropped my car off a little after 7:30am asked them how long it would take they told me about 2 hours and that was the quote with 3 issues being resolved but I had to call the dealership that sold me the vehicle to ask about my extended warranty because they said them couldn't look it up, fine I did and gave them the information. They called me at 10:40am telling me that one item was approved and the other item was not, so I asked about my alternator belt and they stated they didn't ask the insurance company because the technician didn't see any cracks in the belt (how convenient). So at this point I ask them to change the belt because one technician saw cracks and the new technician that looked today doesn't (I said I don't know who to trust so change it anyway, since it's under warranty) now that my extended warranty is covering these issues now the cracks have disappeared when I asked for confirmation numerous times and y'all kept insisting it was cracking when I was going to have to come out of pocket. The service advisor then tells me he is going to have to submit another claim and get back with me (never heard back from him) I had to call around 3:30 to ask about the status of my vehicle and asked about the alternator belt and he said because it wasn't cracked the warranty wasn't going to cover it. So in return I asked about the original technician that saw the cracks and asked for his info and was told that the technician was new and the senior technician was the one who looked and saw no cracks in my belt. Had this not been the first time something like this has happened I might believe it but this is the second time this has happened. About a year ago same thing different technician, went in for an oil change they told me all these issues that were wrong with my car but because I know they try and get you maybe because I am a woman I never get the issues serviced the same day, so the next oil change I took it to a different dealership and let them do their inspection and they didn't comeback with half the issues this dealership had listed and because I know things can get overlooked, once they completed their inspection I brought up the issues this dealership told me I had going on with my car and after they looked, they stated that they didn't see any problems with the items this dealership had listed the parts were in good condition. So let's just say this dealership is very dishonest and have no type of time management because when I spoke to the advisor at 4ish he told me my car would be done within the next 30 minutes and I didn't get a text that my car was complete until close to 6pm and then they told me they were closed and I can pick my car anytime the next day. So how did the job turn from 2 hours for 3 issues, to you only serviced my car for 1 of the 3 issues and it took you all day when the approval from the warranty came through at 10:46am, and you said you couldn't submit the claim for approval until it was finished and you didn't finish until 6pm ( I'm quite sure they pushed my car to the end of the line since they saw that the warranty was covering my issue and put the clients who were paying out of pocket before my car even though they had my car all day). read more

I received an "out the door" price, twice mentioned to the salesman that I was planning to use Mazda's special financing that ends today, and then - when I was ready to purchase based on that price and the .9% financing - found out that the two offers weren't compatible. The sales manager actually told me that both the salesperson and I were responsible for the miscommunication because I should have specifically stated .9% financing, because apparently it's not their sales staff's job to understand the difference between special financing that ends on a specific date and normal financing unless the customer beats them over the head with it. Based on this interaction, I can only conclude it is Hennessy's policy that their customers must research the fine print and educate their sales staff on their dealership's offers, not the other way around. Although everyone I encountered there was polite, their failure to take ownership of their staff member's lack of training or attention to detail, and their refusal to do anything to try to rectify the situation, mean that I will never do business with this automotive group, and I highly encourage anyone thinking of doing business with them to run to the nearest non-Hennessy dealership instead. Edited in response to the dealership's note: Your sales manager essentially blamed me for his staff's lack of training and knowledge in their own company's incentives and offers, and the only reason I didn't go there in person yet again before I found out about this is because I insisted that the financing be in place before I came - the salesperson wanted me to come in and do that onsite. The end result is that instead of purchasing a vehicle from you and becoming a potential lifelong customer, I have shared and will continue to share this experience with every friend, coworker, bank teller, server, random person in the grocery line, etc. to ensure that none of them go near a Hennessy dealership and experience the same level of frustration and wasted time. read more

We spoke on a Monday and was told he would get back to me by noon that day as i wanted to have the new vehicle by weeks end. Three days passed and i never received a call back. My vehicle has been with Hennessy for a month now for an issue that I was told they fixed already...twice. For some reason they are unable to call my cell phone but can text it and can email me. Despite this NO ONE will reach out to me. The last time I received any contact from them was 6/30 (it's 7/12) and it was to triple the estimate of repairs to my vehicle. No one has been able to explain why it tripled or the status of my vehicle. I'm at a total loss. I had a service advisor at one point but then he suddenly was no longer there and no one reached out to me to let me know. With the amount of times I've tried to reach out and get information you'd think my client file would say "email or text do not call!" Often when I bring up the issue that they are unable to call my phone the person on the other end acts like it's my fault. read more

The only reason I brought my Mazda 3 to this dealership was to get my key fob reprogrammed to my car and have the security fault cleared . I was quoted 385 .00 to buy a key fob without key blade , because it takes two fobs to program the car . And also reprogram was included in this price . The service dept didn't include the second fob or program car . Instead they replaced some blown fuses and insult to injury took my old battery that was in my hatchback and threw dirty battery in my back seat with nothing underneath it . Car still has security fault and have to put blade key in to start push button and car is still in fault. I was told this issue was to be escalated to Service Management it's been a week and not a peep from them . It was very easy experience buying our new 2018 CX-9. I worked with the sales manager Chris at first to negotiate terms, which were very fair and reasonable. Then Chris referred us to Sandra on the sales floor to arrange delivery and complete everything. Upon arriving, I really appreciated that the terms we agreed were stated on the documents, no hidden fees or undisclosed charges. We did have a couple minor errors in the paperwork....incorrect VIN, incorrect financing rate....so my suggestion is look at your documents carefully as with any transaction. In the end, I found the folks at a Hennesey to be very friendly, pleasant and accommodating. They arranged to upgrade our new Mazda with Apple Car play when it becomes available and even filled the tank of our rental car prior to us turning it in across the street. Plus they have a nice, new facility. Looking forward to experiencing their service department at some point. read more

Excellent service today. I came in for an oil change and brake inspection for my Mazda 3. The mechanic sends you a video walk-around of your car, talking you through things that may or may not need replacement. Super detailed, high quality video providing full transparency. I'd rather see my dirty cabin air filter and know it needs replacing than take someone's word for it. I am impressed! This dealership has had my 2019 CX-5 since 11/03/2022 for repair, I have been unable to get an answer on the status of my repair. I was told by the service consultant that the vehicle would be ready by the afternoon of 11/04/2022. I would be contacted when it was ready. I called on 11/05/2022 (3) times could not get an answer. I called on 11/07/2022 that they had not found the problem but they working on it. I called 11/08/2022, 11/09/2022, & 11/10/2022, I was not able to speak with anyone, service consultant or service manager, I have given them my phone # each time but nor response. I asked to speak to general manager but was told I don't know who that is. If they can't repair my vehicle tell me & I will take it to a Mazda Dealer that cares. read more

I came here to buy an SD card for my car's navigation system. They charge you 400 plus for the car. I tried the card in the parking lot and it doesn't work. Instead of just giving me one that does they decide to write up a service ticket to have it checked out because they are too cheap to just give me a card that works even though I bought it TEN minutes ago!!! I have recently purchased a Mazda from this dealership and today I have learned once you purchase a Lexus, buy another Lexus. The service I have had from this dealership is not the best. My salesman Tulo was awesome however his manager Jason Davis is a different story. My appointment was yesterday at 9:30 and I showed up on time and no one knew anything Tolu was off which everyone deserves time off. There should be some type of system to keep up with client needs when one person is off. Unfortunately it is not. No loaner was available therefore I had to drive 30 minutes back home, when I have taken time off from work. Michael Tate was kind enough to assist me while his manager stayed in the office promising me a car tomorrow. Tomorrow is here and Tulo was in office and I explained my frustration with Tulo. He brings out a lime green loaner that I didn't like bc I don't like looking like a target when I go to stores. I requested to speak to Jason because he just came out and talk to a couple about purchasing A car. However Jason again refused to speak to me and had Tulo provide another car which was not cleaned and the remote does work. Bought my car in july and it was great experience. Now it was time for the oil change. I absolutely hate getting them, just because of the wait time I've experienced at OTHER PLACES. Nope not here. I was in and out within the hour. I had additional questions and Nick, answered with them without hesitation. I hope each time is this smooth. So far so good. They even call to check up, to be sure I'm still having a good experience with my car. Aaron (I think is his name) let me know it was time for an oil change, and he scheduled it for me on the phone. We just bought a beautiful Ford Transit Van from the used car side of Hennessey Mazda in Morrow. What an amazing, wonderful experience! We have bought two others vehicles in the last 2 years from different dealers and have never had such a positive experience! The employees were professional, kind and exhibited a GENUINE attitude of respect. Our salesman, Mike Tate, took the time to listen and explain ALL of the financial lines of the contract. We never felt pushed or intimidated to "close the sale" . They gave us exactly what we asked for on our trade in (it was a beautiful truck). We went back a couple of days later for a detail and all the staff made us feel welcome and at home. The waiting area is awesome! Spacious and well maintained. Summing up our experience I'd have to say Respectful, Friendly and Professional! This review is specifically about my interaction with (lack of) service seat warmer Andrew J. I had an appointment at 10a and was told I should exit at 11:15a which prompted me to wait on the repair. As 11:45a approached, I inquired to be given no information regarding my car being parked exactly where I placed it and my paperwork still sitting on his desk. He remained unapologetic and had it not been for THREE service oriented employees who stepped in to assist, I may still be there despite asking for my key. What a waste of 2 hours with an appointment! The best part is that he blamed the service manager, Nick, as to why my car remained untouched.
