They are charging $226 quarterly for service in Richmond now. The last time they missed our pickup, they came 9 days later than they should have. We requested a refund for that week. They had NOT planned on refunding anyone they had skipped! We had stayed with them for such a long time because Henrico county had originally said they would only pick up one can. I called them this week, and they will now pick up two cans per week...for $54 quarterly! They just came today, and they did a great job! Our trash is gone, and our bill is 75% smaller. Fantastic. For all of you holding on to Republic Services, just let go and pick another provider. Their consistent failure to provide the most basic trash removal, their unresponsive supervisors and their uninterested phone reps should eventually drive them out of business!

The technician found the problem to be the discharge water hose leaking and needed to be replaced. He took a pictures of the leaking hose and showed it to me; yes it was leaking pretty bad. The technician told me he had to order the repair parts and it it would be several days for them to arrive; well it was three or four days. When the parts arrived; a different technician arrived with the parts. I found both technicians to be very professional and knew what they were doing.
