I would not recommend this company. Called for a ride to Richmond Airport for 3am. I had already checked the website and received a quote of $102 ($1 extra for might surcharge)., Foreign gentleman who answered the phone stated he was the owner and that the fare would be $20 more for a night surcharge. Stated website was 10 years old and had not been updated, and though he was an actual taxi company not Uber he couldn't guarantee he could find a driver. Needless to say I chose not to use Henrico taxi. Use this company at your own risk. read more

These people were so disorganized and rude. There was no record of my reservation when I called. When hours later the driver called me and I asked to move the time 30 minutes earlier (with more than 12 hours notice) he told me it was an inconvenience for him and he'd 'try'. As we were trying to cat h a flight it was incredibly stressful. Definitely just use an Uber or Lyft rather than pay extra to be berated for giving these insane people business. read more

Booked ride online. Had a little delay on confirming ride. When I called to confirm they already knew about my request but was working with another customer. Henrico verbally confirmed request and pick up location. Our scheduled pick up was at 5am. Henrico called near pick up time to inform that he would be there at 5am. He showed up promptly at 5! Taxi didn't identify as Henrico, and was called another name. However he called out to us by name to confirm when he arrived. He's very hard working and courteous. Terrible experience. We tried to schedule a pickup, the representitive on the phone couldn't speak proper English, then I called a day later to confirm scheduled time & address, they had it wrong, but we decided to give them a shot. There is no system or computer, literally a "sticky note somewhere, for the guy that works in that shift". The cab itself was, of course, 7 minutes late, and to make it more sketchy - the driver asked for $30 in cash, ahead of time, and asked to avoid using a credit card. The last straw was the fact that the driver didn't even know where we were going, nor how to get there. My wife had to give him turn-by-turn instructions, and it didn't help that this driver didn't speak good English at all, we could barely understand each other. Would not recommend, I would give a 0-star review if I could. read more

Hello, A letter I sent to this cab service. After many attempts to contact and get a update... received a call at 8:15 we would make it to CVS before closed at 9pm..no response. Had I known they decided it wasn't important to honor a business commitment I would have called another company. NEVER had services like this. Ps...I text, emailed and called. They never even contacted me back to say they couldn't make it nor apologize. .zip? You need a dependable ride? Run from this company! I can't believe how horrible they were...and no I never got that med why I am wide awake in the middle of the night in pain... Hello, I am disabled and understand things happen with a taxi service because I take a lot of cabs...to make a reservation at 7. To get a call they were coming too. To text and call and express I needed or actually HAD to pick up meds from CVS by 9:00 because they close. To have someone call, confirm and my son explained how serious it was we had a pick up meds.. to make cvs by 9? To not get a.call back you couldn't make it nor get me the decency and respect to say call someone else? That you couldnt make it? I am blown away!!Horrible service. Horrible. Such a lack of respect and concern. I seriously needed this med. At least have compassion for that. But back to business? Called for a taxi at 3:25. Was told it will be there in 10 minutes. Call back after 15, told drivers almost there. Call back five later was told the driver is almost there. Had to be 10 minutes away at 4 o'clock. Finally at 3:55 I drove to my destinations struggle to find a parking spot and was 10 minutes late for my daughters sports game. Call Henrico, but the cab that arrived said Excellence Cab on the side. Our driver was prompt and courteous. The cab was comfortable and clean. I was able to request my taxi online, and I had questions regarding payment methods. It was super easy to communicate, as right after I booked my taxi I got a text, and I was able to text them questions. The service itself was great. The morning of, they promptly arrived with all the minivans promised. Each car was clean and the drivers were all polite and friendly. Was in Richmond last week and needed to get to the airport. These guys were 20 minutes late. We did make it to the airport on time, but this business could do better with being punctual. The only reason for the 4 stars is because the taxi driver who came was extremely polite and apologized for coming late, and made it to the airport in real fast time. read more
