I can earnestly say , they have there stuff together. Wanting to add they'll even work with you. State Farm Insurance is here to help for sure. You don't have to be vexed about trying to get a bill paid at the last minute on line. I've called & spoke with a live person that didn't mind doing there job. Ready to assist in getting your needs & concerns remedied. State Farm Insurance Company would be the #1 insurance group that I would refer anybody & everybody. They are forgiving and will give a second & 3rd. chance. All true real life experience. I was dropped from my policy for 3 years. Afraid that something would happen before I could get homeowners insurance again. Thanking God nothing happened before I applied again and again. Nobody was able to get me back in, but one company, with State Farm, David Munson office. A great man name Marcio Lopes. They say it's true. I can vouch for truth that God is Almighty & work through people places and things. All truth, I'm truly grateful to be back in good hands & standards with State Farm Insurance. In being a client again, because thus number 1 agency is most definitely all about business. All my experiences with State Farm has been for best benefit. I'm still thanking God everytime, I feared not having my place of residence insured with, State Farm Home Owners Insurance. I was a nervous soul. One of my vehicles disappeared from my policy for several weeks, other vehicles were added briefly, and non-related drivers were added. None of this was Mr. Munson's fault. However, throughout the entire ordeal that spanned two months or so, he never reached out to apologize on behalf of State Farm. As the public-facing representative, he should have made an effort to contact me, apologize and try to make the situation better. Despite being cc'd on several emails over the course of the issues and multiple direct emails from me to him, he never replied or responded once. If he had, I might not have canceled my State Farm auto, home & umbrella policies after 40 years of being a customer. Good job, Mr. Munson, you helped cost State Farm ~$3,000/year. The staff was professional, communicative and did their best to make a bad situation better. Not Mr. Munson. He was completely inept at customer relations.

This is unfortunate because I was happy with them for a while. However, the last few times I've reached out to them for time-sensitive important matters, it took an unreasonable time for them to respond or I would get no response unless I followed up. The service I received from a particular agent from this office most recently was very disappointing. Rather than taking the time to talk to me, give me detail options or give me a quote, she just quickly responded that I'd "probably get a better rate through the insurer my mortgage company is using" - even though my mortgage company highly recommended that I go through my private insurer for better rates. It just felt like the person didn't want to go through the hassle of looking into it or even calling me rather than a quick response via email. This is definitely not what I expect from a State Farm agent. I almost gave up and was just going to go with the crazy high rate for the required supplemental insurance through my lender, but then another State Farm agent reached out from a different office and they were more than happy to call and take the time to look up my options, find out more about my situation and what would work best for me - they were also super nice and made an effort to get to know me and offer me other plans I may want/need in the future without being pushy at all. In the end, this other agent was able to find me a rate that was only 1/3 of what my lender was quoting with much more comprehensive coverage! Anyway, like I said - I was happy with the service from this office the first several years, but I would be wary if you get similar service to what I received within the last year.

Honestly, I have never met Sharon in-person, only members of her team at the office in McLean. Throughout my tenure with her shop I mainly interacted with Kelly. Whenever I had a question about my policy (e.g. rate changes, coverage packages, and etc.) Kelly was always on top of it. So, when I purchased my first home in the area, I went to Kelly to see what State Farm could offer by bundling my auto and home insurance. Kelly and I worked on a dozen or so scenarios, but each quote was still more expensive than competitors. It soon became clear that we would have to part ways. Kelly knew it too. He leveled with me and said, "We know the value of money. And if you're not going to be with us, then you should know what to look for in a home insurance policy." Kelly coached me on how to find the best policy elsewhere, citing how other insurers do business. When I eventually cancelled my policy with State Farm, Kelly called me to make sure I got my refund on the remaining balance of my policy. When that got lost in the mail, he got the refund check resent. A personable, considerate and empathic guy, emblematic of my time with Sharon Godfery's team. I wish them all the best.

I'd recently decided to get into motorcycles and like anyone who impulsively buys anything, I really hadn't considered the cost to insure said motorcycle. My quick "click or call" to a popular insurance company who shall go unnamed (but uses the voice of Jim Halpert from the Office to shout its tag line on cable tv) yielded results that were less than appealing - which is to say, the cost to insure the bike was going to be more than the cost of owning the bike. So now what - do I sell my mid-life-crisis-on-a-kickstand or fork out double the monthly payment of the bike to just be able to ride the thing (HOV may be free for bikes, but this was hardly a money-making venture). I had recently run into Nathan Klotz at a Panera where he unsuspecting became trapped in my "21-questions" version of insurance interrogation. "Can I get insurance on a bike that doesn't require my left arm as payment?" "Can I still bundle a bike and auto?" "Can you buy this bike from me - I've clearly made a mistake." All worries were laid to rest with his answer. "Listen Heather. Send me your current coverage. I'll see what I can do - no pressure. If we can help you get it cheaper, we'll do it. But I also want you to have the right coverage." I'm pretty sure Nathan is the 8th Avenger because frankly, he saved the day (and probably defeated Thanos). Not only was he able to find affordable coverage for the bike (bikes - this entire story ends up snowballing into more bikes, yes, I know, what?), he was able to beat my coverage for renters and auto to boot AND since this wasn't done with a robot online, he wrote the policies to have my best interests in mind (finally, someone looking out for my best interests because I'm certainly not). My boyfriend ended up getting bit by the bike bug too and Nathan once again was able to get the best coverage at the best price - he switched over auto as well. Long story short - Brown's Insurance Agency Inc. saved the summer, insured the bikes, and now I get to have helmet hair all the time - but with the money I saved, I'm able to fork over some cool hard cash for some much needed leave-in conditioner.
