This store is truly a Mom's Lifesaver - not something I would typically say of toy stores but Green Elephant is much more. First off they are the friendliest of all toy stores and have LOTS of samples and open stock for you to touch, feel, and play with - great when you have little hands with you! The variety is incredible - from scooters to rainbow looms, Legos to Lotties - if variety is the spice of life this place is hot! Suitable for all ages and stages from infant to tween - and beyond. I have only worked with the Danvers location (13 Elm Street, Danvers, MA - (978) 777-5120), but have had an awesome experience both times. My first trip to the Green Elephant was a last minute dash into the store to try to find the right gifts for my friend's kids. I do not have children, so buying toys can be intimidating, but the woman at the shop was sweet to talk to, considerate of my price point, and found two perfect & age appropriate gifts that I still get compliments about. My second time was working with the Green Elephant for my corporate holiday party, where kids under 10 get gifts. Given an allowed price range per gift and a table with the age/gender of the children, the owners worked quickly to select and wrap 67 gifts. The response from our employees has been great! The gifts were creative, fun, educational, and in some cases locally made items. The gifts were much better than we got last year, and we spent less money to do it!! I will be visiting the Green Elephant for all of my toys needs from now on. Go local! read more

VERY Friendly staff. It's my one year olds birthday and I found awesome stuff for him. they gift wrapped them all and and placed them neatly into bags for me. I had one large box and they perfectly wrapped it so the handle was sticking out so I could carry it. Top notch. Great store! read more

It's no longer the green elephant which makes me so sad. I don't think they have that many toys as they use to. I like the set up of the store but I really miss the old store. I miss that there was a lot of toys especially for boys but I don't feel that way now overall super sad and won't be back read more

Amazing selection of quality toys for a range of ages from newborn to preteen! Any item would make a great gift for a special kid. I couldn't believe the unique choices and way more fun than shopping online. The easy going and friendly staff was the cherry on top. They were both helpful, funny and knowledge. I will go here for all my presents for the kiddos from now on. They have classic and new board games, puzzles of all sizes, tons of crafts, lego kits, stuffed animals, dolls, Japanese squishes, baby toys and the cutest onsies. They have everything from kids umbrellas that change when wet to a huge stuffed dragon your kid can sit on that roars and tongue lights up (and can hold up to 150lbs!!!!). They even have tons of dinosaur stuff for my Dino loving nephew. Awesome find! read more

i went here to look for a stuffed bunny to give my girlfriend and when i walked through the door i found it was actually a really nice place. As soon as i walked in the kind lady asked my what she could do for me, and when i told her what i was looking for she was eager to go into the back to get a basket full of stuffed bunnies for me to look at! I had the pleasure of shopping in this store a month or so ago. It was wonderful to see such a wide variety of quality toys. My little boy was in heaven. We left with quite a few items. Fast forward to today- the hobby horse we purchased my son stopped working. He had only used this a handful of times. I first called the manufacture of the product who could have cared less that their product stopped working. I decided to call Green Elephant, they were beyond amazing. The customer service was outstanding. They told me they'd gladly exchange it. This will 100% be our go to toy store. read more

This toy store is great. I'm not one who purchases toys for my kids in brick and mortar stores, but definitely made an exception for this store. There were so many interesting toys and games scattered throughout the store that my kids and I explored nearly every shelf. The kids ended up choosing games that they are still playing with even after several months. I will go back the next time we are in New England. read more
