First time dining here while in town and will not be the last. Everyone was very friendly! The restaurant was charming and had a great vibe. The food was top notch. The filet was cool perfect and just the right portion size. The bacon wrapped figs and deviled eggs were great. The group shared the cheesecake, flan and the butterscotch pudding. I want to level set by stating that I dine all over the U.S. in all sorts of establishments, so I know what is expected at different price points, in different regions / sized markets, etc. Understanding Columbus is a smaller town, I did my research before planning my dinner and Henry's Social Club was at the top based on what I was looking for (a good cocktail, wine, and a charcuterie board). I will start off with the positives: the atmosphere was nice and I was greeted by friendly staff and shown to the bar were I received good service. Now to the reason I would not recommend. I ordered a cocktail from the menu and it was served in less than 20 seconds. Speed is great, but for the price of the cocktail, I was not expecting a cocktail that they had pre-mixed, which was what I was served (and that lack of attention was evident in the flavor). The cocktail wasn't bad, but sure not up to the standards of the price (and price is only an issue in the absence of value). Next came the charcuterie board...it was 3 stacks of salami (not even good salami), pickled beats, raw red onions, raw jalapeno slices, some pitted Kalamata olives, cornichons, a small wedge of brie, a couple of slices of a white cheddar, a tiny scoop of goat cheese, and a raspberry vinaigrette. This all came with a side of boxed crostinis, which I was told "let us know if you need more". When I asked about there only being salami on the board, the staff said, "yeah, its a salami heavy board"...with which I asked, "do you have anything other than salami?" and he said he would ask the chef. 3 minutes later they came out and said that was all they had and did I want another appetizer. All of the other appetizer (3 in total) were not of the same value nor were they what I had come into the restaurant for, so I said "it is fine". I ate 1/4 of the board (the pickled beats were the shinning star) and asked for my ticket, which I assumed would include my $20 cocktail, the bottle of wine I ordered, and some discount for the poor excuse of a charcuterie board, but there was no compromise / disount for their board's lack of variety or quality. I didn't protest, but I certainly want others to know that the quality here certainly isn't worth the price. read more

Hands down our favorite local gem. It's a splurge for us for sure, and we generally save it for special occasions but we love it! Some favorites are their stuffed salmon, any steaks, and the bacon wrapped dates, although we've never had anything bad. We generally get old fashioneds but I've had a few fun mocktails when I was pregnant and they were delicious! We've never been without anything we needed and they have a very nice quiet atmosphere, which is refreshing compared to most places in the area. If youre anywhere near Columbus definitely give this a try, you won't regret it. read more

We really wanted to love this place after reading their website and Yelp reviews. But we were so disappointed. 1. Their website has a dinner menu with Prime Rib for $25 ....this caught our eye yet when we arrived they had a completely different menu than what was shown on their website. This is ok but I think online it should be mentioned that "menu changes seasonally etc". We ordered the ribeye ($48) and it was not good. (We are from Texas and know our steaks!) We asked for it to be cooked "medium" but the ribeyes were tough and their steak knives did not make it any easier to cut. Now looking back I wonder if they show the old menu online with the much lower prices just to get customers in the door. (Bait and switch) We wouldn't have been so disappointed had we known ahead of time their menu online was not available. 2. They offer sparkling water ....but it tasted like sparkling water that had gone flat. I assume they carbonate it themselves but seems their C2 cartridges were empty. I asked for a new bottle of sparkling and it was the same. I won't nitpick about the roasted potatoes, coarse cut veggies but had those been better side items then it wouldn't have been such a bad meal. Service was great. read more

Went for our 29th Anniversary. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious! I had the Scallops with sweet potato gnocchi, and my husband had the Tofu Curry dish. We've had it several times. This is hands-down the best place to eat in downtown Columbus. I was in Columbus for a few weeks on a long work trip and after trying it the first time, I had to come back again. Not only was the food absolutely incredible (flavor, texture, everything) but the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Not to mention, the ambiance is lovely with their modern decor and slightly dimmed lights. It was a vibe. Of course, this is a more upscale place, so the prices are higher. But I assure you, it is worth every penny. The prices reflect the quality of the meal you'll be having here. Here are my thoughts on the dishes I tried: Ancho Rubbed Lamb Chops - Seasoned. To. Perfection. The lamb was perfectly cooked and every bite was a delight. Served with a refreshing chimichurri sauce that complimented the seasoning perfectly and even the vegetables were divine. Thai Style Green Coconut Curry Tofu - I'll admit, I was expecting something more saucy based on the description, but this dish was to die for. Perfectly crispy tofu that was full of flavor. The lentils were definitely the best lentils I've ever had. Just incredible. Key Lime Crumble - This was a great treat. Nicely tart key lime flavor and even the crumble itself had some lime infused into it. A nice end to the meal. Mocktails - Yes, they have mocktails! And the bartender was not only happy to experiment with some for me, but he also made a point to present them just as beautifully as their standard drinks. One was a creamsicle flavor with a couple cherries (LOVED this), the other was a Strawberry Mule. If I end up visiting Columbus again in the future, this is the first place I'm going back to. I've been here two or 3 times before. I've never been disappointed, it's just not necessarily my go to type place. I'm more of a chill beer and burger type girl over a fancy dress up for an expensive dinner type girl. However, if you're looking for a nice place to take someone on a first date or an anniversary or something like that, this is a perfect place in Columbus. But make sure you get reservations! The last time we went, I got the Thai coconut curry tofu. My husband got the salmon. Both were absolutely delicious! Pricey, like I mentioned, but delicious so it was worth it. The hands on vibe of the owner was evident and it showed with great service and friendly atmosphere. Bar has big selection of cocktails & spirits. We had an exceptional anniversary dinner last night at Henry Social Club and look forward to more celebrations at this lovely restaurant! We reserved a table ahead through Yelp (amazing when digital tools work according to plan) and were warmly welcomed at the door by our waiter. They knew it was our anniversary from my reservation and brought two glasses of champagne- we were delighted and felt very special. Our meals were excellent. We are fans of restaurants in Indy like Vida, Tony's and Delicia. HSC felt right on par with any of those dining experiences and was, dare I say, a bit more metropolitan? I was reminded of trendy restaurants we visited while in Salt Lake City and New York City. We started with the deviled eggs and I don't think I'll be able to have deviled eggs without crispy onions moving forward. For our main course, I ordered the salmon and found new hidden flavors with each bite. It was a large portion but I cleaned my plate because it was so addictive. My partner ordered the steak and frites and he said the steak was one of the best he's had. Also a very large portion. We topped off our evening with the lemon crumble. It was a delightfully tart, fresh dessert I'll be craving all summer. I recommend this for a very fancy first date, a rehearsal dinner, adult celebration (no kids menu) or any time you need a perfectly curated meal and modern environment. 10/10. read more

I have been here 3 times prior, Brought my mother here 3/7/25 Fri 5:45 pm. Seated 10 minutes early. Mom ordered a glass of red wine (Montepulciano Trinato) she enjoyed it. She also ordered a Greek salad and a shrimp risotto dish and she had the creme brulee for dessert. I had the greek salad, the clam chowder(new england) and the swordfish, mashed potato, cooked spinach in a italian tomato sauce. I then had the chocolate pot creme. This was our best experience so far was delicious. Today was the first day for a new menu. Donna was our server, she was wonderful. Our table was attended to by the entire staff.
