Five stars on the dive bar scale. My dad used to come here 40 years ago and I bet the carpet was here then. Love this place. $1 beers and the best smash burgers in town. I've given this place more chances than it deserves. The Cozy Lounge is anything but cozy. The vibe is chaotic, fights feel like a regular occurrence, and there's little to no visible security when things escalate. When problems happen, accountability is nonexistent. The crowd can be rough, the atmosphere feels unsafe late at night, and management seems more interested in damage control online than actually improving conditions. Food is forgettable, drinks aren't anything special, and the overall experience is consistently disappointing. Entertainment stinks of desperation. There are plenty of better bars in Columbus where you can relax without worrying about what's going to break out next. This one isn't worth the trouble, and neither are the people. It puts the "dive" in "dive bar"!! Turning into the old "Caddies" and we know how long that place lasted. read more

My first time at Cozy. Was not impressed. Actually disappointed. 420 friendly. Food was good and priced decent. Service was slow. Long lines at the bar. Selection of beer was limited due to being out of stock. Soda's were also limited due to be out of stock. Karaoke was the worst experience ever. Waited patiently between songs. Watching multiple people sing 2 & 3 songs before my turn appeared on screen. Just to be skipped after waiting so long. I left after being skipped. Told the DJ I was leaving and he could remove my name from the list. read more

Food? No idea. Service? None. Ambiance? Looked fun! My husband and I moved here recently and stopped in to check it out since it was close to home. We walked in and our entrance was obvious to staff and the few customers there. We took off our coats and sat at a table waiting for someone to approach us. We wanted something to eat and a few drinks. We waited watching the staff and the obvious regulars chat back and forth and no one gave us any attention. We walked up to the bar and it was as if we were invisible. After a few minutes we walked back to the table, grabbed our coats and walked out. Apparently we weren't "their kind" we took our money elsewhere where our business was appreciated. We will never go back and I am sure that is just fine with them. read more

What a wonderful way to spend New Year's Eve. My parents used to come here all the time at their old location -- it was their favorite bar. My mom even has this old sweatshirt with their logo! I tried to get her a new shirt from them a few weeks back but they said they didn't have merch - and then lo and behold when we came in on New Years they had red shirts to sell! My mom was so excited. Anyway, this is the kind of place that is welcoming to anyone willing to chill out and have a good time. There are a wide variety of people who come but it's not too crowded. I liked the food that we tried and the drinks, though personally I would have liked some more non alcoholic options (not sure if they had any NA beers). There are large round tables with chairs around, pool, darts, cornhole, and I think a few other games here. I would say the service was very friendly and pretty on top of it despite it being busy. read more

There selling this place the food is terrible and there is a male bartender who is power hungry and bitter with a smart mouth. Got banned for posting on Facebook never have caused any trouble so if you want bad food and bad service please feel free but watch out for gun play and fights! read more

Arguably the best bar in Columbus. Why? They stay open til the bitter end, without fail. The drinks are affordable and generous. They don't put on airs but aim to please. Pool tables, karaoke and the deepest TouchTune jukebox selection this side of The Pirate Bay. The best conversations, the most random encounters, the most tactile and inexplicable sense of bonhomie that you never thought you'd experience. Simply put, the place is magic. Bar opens at 11 am and I've never seen a customer in there until 2 or 3 pm. I was in there an couple years ago with some friends and it took 35 minutes before someone said they'd be right with us. 20 minutes later we left. read more

The Cozy is laid back and a fun place. Saturday night Karaoke starts at 9 pm. The food is nicely priced, the staff is seasoned and friendly and they have a pretty good beer choice. Great place to play some billiards or throw out some dance moves on the weekend. read more

Cozy's is a great dive bar in Columbus! They have several pool tables and, honestly, really good bar food. Their fried pickles and mini corn dogs are great during those late hours out. Four stars because of how far they've come! Ever since new owners, they've turned it around and made it a great dive bar. New owner has been in the Pizza business most his life, so the Pizza and bar food are as good as, if not better, then any chain bar (like chili's, Hooters, etc.). They have scheduled karaoke, dollar draft night, corn hole tournaments, etc. Check em out, expect a good experience and don't buy a round for everyone because there is actually people in there now! Visit: Sat 1/20/18 Atmosphere, food , and drink was good. Mixed drink were however, inconsistent and very strong. They knew a variety of cocktail recipes but most of them were made way too strong. They had karaoke the night we were there and it was very good. Enormous variety of songs to choose from and multiple monitors with lyrics giving you a choice to stand by the DJ or sing from the comfort of your table. The biggest negative I have is the service. We had a large group and our waitress, a young woman with tattoos on her arms (nothing wrong with that just what I remember she looks like) would never ask if we needed anything. She collected our empty glasses but didn't bother to ask if any of us wanted another drink or food or bother to stick around long enough for us to ask. We had to stop her multiple times before she could get away just to get another drink. Even then she walked away before my girlfriend could tell her I wanted a drink too. She had and attitude as if she didn't want to be there or be bothered simply saying ok like and angsty teenager when we could get her to stop and order a drink. Over all we did enjoy ourselves and would go again as long as we don't get that waitress. read more

I made this account just to review the Cozy. I have been going in there every few weeks for maybe 2 or 3 years. As of lately, they have what seems to be almost an entirely new staff. I have to say they did a horrible job at picking them. Their new bartenders are extremely rude. There is a tall female who seems to always be in a horrible mood, and every time shes asked a question or given a drink order she treats the person like they are an idiot and like they are wasting her time. I have personally sat at the bar for upwards of 20 minutes without being acknowledged by her or anyone else. Another of the women who works there is one of the rudest human beings I have ever met in my life. She provided me horrible service, horrible drinks, and made me feel as if I was inconveniencing her. I was in the bar last weekend and she was there (off the clock I am assuming/ hoping) and she was completely sloshed yelling at some people and crying. It was honestly embarrassing to see an employee acting like that in the place where she works. Tonight I went in for a few minutes with a pal of mine and we both witnessed the same thing. She was complaining very loudly and referring to someone in the bar as a "bitch"-- she could barely stand up. Not very professional in my opinion. She always looks very distressed and she is almost always drunk and crying. I asked around a bit tonight and I was told her name is Lacy. She as well as the other bartender I mentioned, has made my last few visits to this bar very uncomfortable and I hope to see some changes in the near future. read more

My favorite bar in town. Everyone knows everyone. Old dive bar atmosphere. They have GREAT food. Awesome staff. A ton of pool tables. Cornhole. Lots of TVs. Jukebox. Not to mention cheap lunch menus, karaoke twice a week, and dollar drafts on Thursdays. The owners are awesome and down to earth. Love this place! read more
