Best concept for the dentist ever. Due to COVID and working from home now, quite the hassle that my dentist is all the way in Fairlawn and i live in Jersey City. So when my apartment sent a email about this offering right outside the front lobby door-I signed up immediately. Wow- the service was so convenient and then on top of that very thorough. Chairs had heated back massage with option to watch Netflix. The hygienist Nicole was amazing-first time that recession of gums were measured each tooth then cleaning and polish. scheduled my follow up for 6 months and will not have to go far just 50 feet outside the front door. Clean and all top of line equipment inside. Great experience and they also gave up free whitening trays for first time visit to Henry. I have not been to the dentist in years so when I was visiting Next Health in The Parlor NYC I realized that Henry The Dentist was in there so I popped in for an exam and cleaning. This was the best dental experience I ever had. The space was super cool and very clean! The staff were amazing they X-rayed my teeth and did a cleaning that was not painful at all. My teeth have never felt cleaner and I was out in 45 min! I'm going to see them in a few weeks next time I am in the city for a cleaning and I'm thinking about getting a retainer! Highly recommend! Henry the dentist is probably the coolest thing i've ever experienced. they recently started a contract with my office and i was able to get in for a cleaning and my jaw just kept dropping. everything was so smooth from start to finish. the woman checking in was wonderful, the assistant that did my x-rays was great, the girl who did my cleaning was super nice and Dr. Jason Slomovitz was 10/10. where else can you go that gives you headphones to watch THE OFFICE on your LUNCH BREAK while you're at the dentist!?! i'll never go anywhere else this is the best idea / best dentist ever. read more

SCAMMER ALERT In 2018 I paid $5,000 USD to this company for an Invisalign treatment. They detailed that I would follow the program at home, visit this office towards the end of the treatment and receive a retainer. I recently made an appointment to have her checked. The customer service rep failed at doing his job correctly which led me to be in the office for a total of 3 hours. I was unhappy, went home, but ultimately let things go. Fast forward to today, I received a call from Henry, telling me that they no longer will work with me (when my Invisalign treatment has not been completed yet) and that I need to find a new provider. Upon asking if my original $5,000 payment will be utilized for the final treatment and retainer, I was told "it depends on the new provider". This is shady business, just because their income was paid in a lump sum, they now refuse service 2 years later. I have been in their office a total of 1 time following my appointment in 2019, and now I'm being discarded, and their agreement to provide a retainer seem to be no longer valid. They did not complete their part of their agreement. Do not go here, if you plan on getting Invisalign for yourself, you'll regret it toward the end of your treatment when they try to hit you with additional charges... very deceiving. read more

Henry has been coming to my office for a while now and I feel silly that I've never taken advantage of the convenience. I just got my teeth cleaned and it was such a fabulous experience. All of the paperwork you have to fill out you can do beforehand online, so you just walk up, check in, and sit down. During the cleaning you're able to watch Apple TV (I caught up on my favorite HBO show) with nice Bose headphones. The chair massaged my back while I sat there. They were quick, kind, considerate, and I was back at work in 30 minutes. This is an awesome new addition to my life. See you guys in 6 months! read more

Only deducting one star (would do a half star if it was an option) because it was freezing and loud white noise (AC I'm guessing?)- made it difficult to understand everything the dentist was saying. Normally I go to the same dentist I've been seeing my entire life, but decided to give Henry the Dentist a try when they were visiting my apartment building as I am a sucker for convenience! I was scheduled for X-rays and a cleaning and was told I needed a deep cleaning and would have to reschedule. Thankfully they were able to find me an appointment the very next day a few apartment buildings over. It's comfortable and they do a thorough job. As other reviews said, it's hard to take advantages of the Netflix when you're being reclined, but it's a great idea. The noise helps drown out the typical dentist noises. An option like Spotify would be a great addition. read more

This company is a scam. They try to upsell you products and will promote Invisalign for patients even though they may be above the recommended age for it. After going here my girlfriend spoke with another dentist who told her Invisalign for her teeth would have lead to cracks in her teeth. They are fee based dentists who are just looking to charge referral fees and fees to the insurance companies. This is why an x-ray is the first thing they do when you sit in their seat. This place needs to be looked into for ethical standards, do not go here. Go to a real Dentist, and no I am not a competing dentist with a mobile-home office. read more

Was not a pleasant experience. I felt as if I were in some sort of dental assembly line. 3 chairs, 3 hygienists, 3 patients, 1 dentist and a receptionist all crammed into a tiny space. The chairs are separated by a small partition wall and when they recline the chair you feel as if your head is in the walk way. The deafening sound of spit sucking vacuums was quite disgusting. I've had the experience of both the New Providence clinic and the mobile clinic. Both were great! Beautiful aesthetic, modern and clean. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Dr. Zhu was my dentist and she was very helpful, smart and informative. She was happy to answer any of my questions. I just had the best experience at Henry the Dentist. From the time I walked in I was greeted by the very friendly and helpful office manager Sammie. She was excellent and thorough in explaining benefits and options for follow ups. Lisset took my Xrays and was welcoming and careful. Aliah performed a deep cleaning and it was the best cleaning I've received. Normally painful and left feeling not fully clean from other dentist, I left feeling no pain, extra clean and extremely positive with my visit. Then came Dr. Acquaah, he carefully explained what was needed leaving me with no questions and no anxiety with the follow up work needed. This was the best experience I have ever had with the dentist! I was greeted by the office manager and she was so lovely and made the check-in process a breeze. The gentleman who cleaned my teeth did an AMAZING job! I was so self-conscious about my smile and he made sure to address any concerns I had. They were very up front about the additional cost of a deep cleaning (which is what I needed). I just sat back and watched some Netflix while he cleaned my teeth. Afterwards, he recommended a few products and gave me great advice on how to maintain a healthy smile. When I got home, I couldn't believe how shiny and bright my smile was! I love the concept behind HENRY but I feel their quality and execution was lacking. I have never had a cavity and generally have good teeth (thanks genetics) and so I didn't want XRays (radiation) as I had them 3 years ago and all was well. They refused to see me without XRays being done there and said they'd cancel my appointment if I declined. I then asked if insurance fully covered and they said yes, so I relented. Then they said I owed $40 afterwards, dirty. The cleaning and polishing itself was the fastest I've ever had...and not in a good way. It felt rushed and not very thorough. I was interested in the technology, the netflix and bose headphones, as that seemed like a good distraction. Although, when the chair reclines and they do the cleaning you cannot see the TV and the headphones fall off - pointless! Great idea, terrible execution. SCAMMER ALERT - Manhattan Office Location I went in for a annual exam as I had to switch dentists due to a change in job and insurance. I was having bad TMJ issues so was recommended Invisalign treatment to fix my bite. I agreed to begin and would be paying out of pocket the $5K cost of the treatment. During my three appointments, I saw 3 DIFFERENT DENTISTS - only once with the dentist I had requested and was never notified prior that I would be seeing someone else! You would think they would schedule you with one person for a long term treatment.......... When my Invisalign finally arrived, I was rushed to apply "fasteners" and begin dental work WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION or overview of my plan! I was assured that at the end of the appointment I would go over it in detail and able to ask any questions, but that never happened as I was rushed out due to another patient's appointment. Instead the receptionist went over my plan with me, who is good at her job, but was not equipped whatsoever to answer ANY of my questions or provide any guidance. For this investment, the least you could do is give patients the time of day. BEWARE AND GO ELSEWHERE! THIS IS AN INDUSTRIAL PLANT NOT A DENTAL OFFICE. BEWARE AT ALL COSTS! What a novel way to have a dentist appointment. This mobile dentist office pulls up to your office so you don't have to go anywhere else. It got me to go back to the dentist for the first time in years. The equipment is modern and clean and the staff is very friendly. There are even tvs with noise canceling headphones and Apple TVs with Netflix to watch while you wait. The convenience and ease of using Henry the Dentist can't be beat, and I'm hoping my employer (which was testing the service) chooses to continue it. Dental care is never a happy experience, but Henry was as close as I've ever been--the staff were friendly and helpful, and services were done professionally and efficiently and with attention to my individual needs. The only caveats are related to the physical space: (1) It's small enough that if you're especially large, you might have trouble walking through comfortably; (2) AFAICT they didn't have any way to accommodate people who use wheelchairs; and (3) There are no individual rooms, just partitions, and you're not right up on the other patients, but some people still might find it weird. read more

This was a great all-around dental experience. I loved how high-tech everything was. The cleaning was great with really cutting edge instruments and a high level of care. I loved that it came to my office so that I didn't have to take time off to go to my regular dentist as well as the fact that it's in network. I didn't love the hard sell about getting braces before someone even looked in my teeth. Working for a dental insurance company and attending benefit meetings, you come to find out most folks DO NOT go for their annual/bi-annual cleanings, that are generally covered at 100%, so why wouldn't you go? I learned the leading answer is no time and 2nd is fear. HENRY The Dentist, shows up at your place of business and provides same dental services your local brick and mortar dentist will, but you don't have to take the time and drive over there. The facilities are clean and they have state of the art equipment. Staff are really friendly. Granted you get your cleaning done in a mobile vehicle, but you get over that real quick. The chair you sit in massages you; there's large TVs (complete with headphones) to focus on while you're getting your work done. I saw Dr. Bradshaw and she was fantastic! Not to be Trusted I applied for a job there and after several interviews, I was told I had the job. I asked for the offer letter and benefits which I was told I would receive the next day. Over a week passed and I didn't receive anything. I called several times but couldn't speak with the manager. They have no HR so I was stuck in limbo. I couldn't get an answer. The Dentist was extremely rude and insulted me for a few minutes after my teeth were cleaned. She told me I have cavities, needed invisalign and fake teeth in order to make my smile look nice. I never heard of Henry the Dentist before they pulled up to my office! I signed up for an appointment because I was long overdue for one with my regular dentist. I always delay on going because the dentist is so far away from my home and work. Everyone at Henry the Dentist was so nice, happy, and pleasant! Everything in the truck was so clean and hi-tech. My appointment was right on time and I learned everything possible about my teeth. I even bought the Goby toothbrush and toothpaste from the truck and am very excited to use it! Hard to find a Dentist office that has the same look and feel as a 5 Star Restaurant with the same level of service. No place was open on the holiday weekend, but HENRY was at its New Providence, NJ location! Courtney greeted me warmly and while I drank a cucumber water, I wondered if I was at the right place, because it was definitely NOT a normal dentist's office. Before I could 'gram my cool surroundings, I was greeted by my hygienist, Heather, who was very nice. I sat in the leather treating chair and was facing a high def television with Netflix on it. Heather offered me a pair of headphones and Apple TV remote so I could watch something while she did my cleaning. I totally zoned out and watched The Great British Baking Show during it :) After my cleaning, they did a full 3D scan of my mouth in just a few minutes. I've been putting off orthodontia for the first 44 years of my life, but decided I'd go with HENRY who gave me a special on Invisalign for just over $4k! My experience at The Parlor location was top notch! Rosie checked me in and was so friendly and helpful. A friendly and efficient hygienist did my cleaning and Dr. Nia used the futuristic looking 3D scanner to take images of my teeth because I am interested in Invisalign. Trying to find the time to get to the dentist always seemed to be on the bottom of my 'to do' list for a variety of reasons. I think my biggest challenge was trying to get away from work for a couple hours in order to do it. HENRY the Dentist and their mobile dentistry team are amazing. They bring their state of the art technology to your office!!!!
