After reading reviews on Yelp I decided to get an Uber with 2 of my work counterparts since it was close to the airport and we had to depart in 2.5 hours. The place is definitely not going to win any design and decoration awards, but it was clean. The food is very good. We each got a brisket sandwich and 3 cheese mac- very flavorful. Decadent brisket, and my pulled pork was smoky and delicious. Bbq saucy was spicy and vinegary, and made the meat even more delicious. Get the potato salad for sure! The Mac & cheese was thick with creamy cheese. Skip the corn, and ask for the tortillas with your meal. They were warned on the grill. You eat outside and they have bare bones accommodations but it's all part of the charm. I'd eat here again and again. read more

This is the little truck that could! (And did!) Headed back to Houston we did not want to wait in line for bbq. I called our order in and picked it up. It is across from airport. We had sliced brisket and chopped brisket sandwiches with a sausage wrap(tortilla). The beef was delicious and seasoned just right. The bbq sauce was sweet and peppery. Loved it! Outside is a work in progress and low on progress. I might try this again in 6 months when they get in door. don't bring your fam or kids, it's big food but not really my thing. Very good bbq and no long lines (yet). I usually get the brisket and Mac and cheese and both are delicious. I order online or call in and they don't quite have the time estimates down but it's worth the extra 10 min or so. Now they have an indoor dining space so I think they are even more busy. I found this place when they were in the trailer in the back. The Mac and cheese was a 3 white cheese blend, one of the best Mac and cheese I have tried in Austin. The brisket has been good as well. However, after haven't been in several months. I got the mac and cheese and brisket sandwich and the Mac was now yellow and not tasting the same. The brisket sandwich was needing salt and dry. What saved the sandwich was the always delicious bbq sauce. Not sure what happened. Perhaps moving into the building cost more money in rent and quality of ingredients had to be changed?
