How often do you get to hear about a proprietor's quality of character? I was trying to repair my son's computer by replacing a burned out motherboard. This procedure required me to remove the CPU and its associated CPU cooler. Thermal paste is sued between the heat sink and the CPU.I had no thermal paste and no store int he area carried it. Amazon would've taken a couple of days too many for me. I decided to look for "PC repair' in the Pt Washington, NY, Manhasset, NY areas. I called Henry, who was not in the office, and explained the situation. He immediately offered some thermal paste free of charge and called his assistant back at the office that I was on my way. Gladys was charming and helpful. I had my paste in a minute, returned home, and was able to be my son's hero. What's that worth, folks? This small act of kindness by Henry towards a complete stranger is a testament to his fine character. He has a customer and advocate in me for life for all my future tech needs. I purchased a computer from him a couple of years ago which was delivered damaged. a replacement was provided but I had to wait. since then I have called twice for assistance. the first time numerous calls were made until I got a response. 2 weeks ago I called and left a message and never received the courtesy of a call back. it appears that he is only interested in selling computers. I was hesitant at first because the address was hard to find, it's just an apartment in a building's inside yard and there's no sign outside. My wife's computer was very slow and erratic. Henry came and told me the hard disk was full of bad sectors, and suggested a new computer. He said he could transfer her data to the new computer. He seemed very friendly, so I trusted him. I figured I was being overcharged, but it was worth $100-$200 to save me the trouble of installing a new computer and transferring the data. It told 2 days to transfer the data, but he finally came and connected the monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers and loaded some software. I stupidly did not look at the data that was transferred. When I did, I found the disk contained NO DATA. I called him, and he said he would look at the hard disk again. He finally called back to say the the original disk did not contain any data. ABSOULTLY FALSE. I have been using PCs since the 1980, I taught computer programming, and published several textbooks. I know there was data on that hard disk. Fortunately, I had activated File History, so the data was on an external hard drive. So the data was saved, but no thanks to Henry. Incidentally, I discovered the $800 computer he sold me could be bought at BestBuy for about $500. Before I discovered there was no data on the new hard disk, I had written a glowing review on his company's web site. I wish I could delete that review. A few weeks later I wanted to make copies of some DVDs I had made of family photos. I called Henry to ask him if he could suggest a good DVD copying app. He never called back. read more

Once again Henry saved the day!! I decided it would be a great idea to eat and work on my laptop....like an idiot, I got food juice on my track pad that seeped inside and pretty much killed my laptop. I got five-star service from Henry on a disk drive replacement. Unfortunately, the disk was failing so fast, it couldn't be cloned -- which led to numerous headaches for me the weekend after I got the machine back, as I tried to reinstall software. Problems cropped up (no fault of Henry's). I called him over the weekend and left a couple of kind of sour messages, and he called back on a Sunday night and wanted to get right to work to resolve the issues -- quite impressive. I told him it could wait until the next day, and he sorted everything out promptly on Monday. Very nice guy -- the word "nice" is often overused, but really applies here, as he's genuinely concerned about doing the right thing for the client. I wouldn't hesitate to go to him again. read more
