Amazon would've taken a couple of days too many for me. I decided to look for "PC repair' in the Pt Washington, NY, Manhasset, NY areas. I called Henry, who was not in the office, and explained the situation. He immediately offered some thermal paste free of charge and called his assistant back at the office that I was on my way. Gladys was charming and helpful. I had my paste in a minute, returned home, and was able to be my son's hero. What's that worth, folks? The work and price was right so I had another phone revived with a new battery. Verizon activated a replacement phone but couldn't transfer the data unless the old defective phone was repaired first and then they would do the data transfer for an additional fee. Alex at Verizon recommended Mike at Inspect Ur Gadgets for the repair. Thanks to both of them. Convenient located between Verizon and Metro by T-Mobile in Long Beach but the store is almost invisible.
