The interface through the Yelp app in my phone was wonky and I wasn't able to upload my prescription. I tried several times and it kept exiting without saving the info I had already input. I put several items into the shopping cart and thought I ordered it. When I called to check it hadn't gone through. Nevertheless, when I called, the guy who answered was very helpful and took my order efficiently. They promised delivery within 45 minutes and within that time frame a woman called. The address she had was transposed - not sure whose mistake it was but we got that straightened out and she was at my door in a couple of minutes. I've never had a delivery and felt a little self-conscious standing out in the street handing her cash while she handed me a brown bag. But she was pleasant and the order was correct. So, let's just say I'm a bit of a hermit. Maybe more than "a bit". I have a radius of about 2 miles within Westwood Village and I rarely travel outside these boundaries. Okay, so yeah, there's a brick-and-mortar dispensary here, but I've actually never been inside, so I can't speak much in terms of comparison; I have been getting my weed more-or-less exclusively from Herb. I would say I'm a pretty regular customer, and although I don't consistently interact with the same driver or the same person on the phone confirmation, I've placed enough orders that I do cross paths with some employees repeatedly. (One of the phone confirmation guys greeted me with "How are you today, brother?" on a recent order, and I appreciate him very much.) The people who work for Herb are generally very chill and they all seem friendly and approachable. When I started ordering, most of the flowers Herb sold were Herb's own brand. In my opinion they are consistently of a good quality and are sold for a fair price, and they come in neat jars, of which I've collected quite a fair amount. Supposedly, I can get a free gram if I turn in 10 of the larger jars. I'll need to give that a try, because I've certainly amassed a number of them. (I also recycle the jars for various other purposes on my own.) I've noticed recently that Herb now sells a much larger selection of flowers from other brands, notably Flow Kana. These brands can also be found elsewhere, and I imagine they are roughly the same everywhere. The price of obtaining weed through legal channels anywhere has gone up quite a bit since the implementation of recreational use legislation, due to additional state taxes that are now being imposed. This is a bit unfortunate for former medical users such as myself (and I'd still consider myself a medical user, but medical certification is much more of a process to get nowadays). It doesn't have much to do with Herb, though. Of course, being a delivery service (that's kind of their thing), I suppose the real question about Herb is whether or not their delivery service is good. And the answer is... yes, it is! They consistently appear within the timeframe they advertise, and in all but one of my orders, the delivery person came right to my place (sometimes they'll even find a way into my apartment complex and come straight to my door!) -- and even in that one order (this is one out of many) where the delivery person didn't seem to know where they were, I did eventually find them somewhere nearby, so it's all good. Additionally, I'll note that some of the delivery people I've encountered appear to be very interesting as people, and I'd totally smoke a bowl with them one day. In summation, yes, I would recommend Herb. Particularly if you are a potentially agoraphobic hermit who smokes a lot of weed, or even if you're just out of weed but you're too high as balls to go anywhere. They are perfect for filling these particular niches and they won't let you down. read more

I saw an article in GQ that talked about a new product called DoseIt and followed the link that brought me to Herb. After getting a prescription for their sleep product I called Herb and was surprised as to how nice, friendly and knowledgeable the staff was on the phone. I placed my order and because of the stupid rules of the federal government you have to pay cash so I walked from my apartment to the ATM which is about 10 minutes away. They had told me to the delivery would be here within 25 to 30 minutes. On my way back from the ATM I got a call and they were here. They were kind enough to wait for me to get back from the ATM and there delivery people were amazing least ice. As a first time remember I received a goodie bag. When they ask me about my experience I told them that they made Amazon Prime look bad. I cannot recommend this company and their products enough. The service would be great IF: 1/ they start by asking the doctor recommendation. They never ask during the purchase and call you after the order to ask you to do it because you forgot :-) 2/ They inform you from the beginning that the payment is only by cash at the delivery and it's not possible to pay by card on the website and at the delivery. Instead, they write it in small at the end of the order process, you don't see it as as it's small and nobody does that; They call you to remind you to pay in cash at the delivery. I've ordered from HERB countless times - probably over 30. Usually they are pretty good, although the last time I ordered Jack Herer it was pretty dry. Kind of disappointing when you're paying a premium for that 1/8th. Also, last time I got Blackwater OG there were SEEDS in my jar. More than a couple. I've been using Herb delivery for a couple months now and I honestly haven't had any real complaints except that occasionally when I order a vape cartridge the strength can very and I usually stick with the same one I like, I don't if it's the shelf time that does it because some of the cartridges I get have a 5-6 month old manufacturing date. Also for the first time I had to wait for over an hour to get my delivery, it also really pissed me off when the driver shows up she's carrying it up in a postmates bag...also when I called at the one hour mark the guy on the phone when I called said she was suppose to come to me first but the amount of time it took her leads me to believe she was doing food deliveries too...I hope this isn't gonna become a regular issue because I really like these guys. read more
