I love everything about this store , however, I come here often and every time I come here, the sales associates ALWAYS come to my aisle and start fake organizing things. Literally EVERY TIME .. Asking if I need help even though I told them I know what I'm looking for then go back to "organizing" shelves right where I'm shopping.. . It's super uncomfortable because it always makes me feel like they assume people are going to steal. I know how it can be with business and the dynamic of the store itself, however, don't make people feel uncomfortable. Especially if they're coming regularly. Excited about finding an herbal holistic store, I rushed in to look at all the selections of butters and oils and supplements, & before I start this off I just want to say that Herbally Grounded has so many amazing and unique products. However, the customer service can be off putting as some reviewers have already described. I had just moved to Vegas about a week ago from NYC. The first time I went in I just looked around and everything was copacetic. The second time (the visit where I spent my $100) was.. different. I had picked up some herbal supplements that a young lady had helped me with, so helpful! and a bulk of that money went to the products she recommended. Upon checkout there was a different employee. A Caucasian lady with an accent, maybe Russian or German? I'm not sure but she asked me how do I know about the Chebe oil I picked up, and how does it work, what is it used for... Now Chebe is a traditionally African product from the Chad tribe. I just answered with " i did a lot of reserch." Not that knowledgeable about all the products you carry, understandable right? ( but then) I noticed throughout the whole transaction, as she cleaning a crystal I bought btw , her staring at my hair. I'm a darker toned black woman with multiblonde braids. Her service was nice but the energy felt kinda fake and condescending. Right after purchasing my items she proceeded to ask if my hair ... was my hair. Did it grow from scalp... like nah. Its one thing to be ignorant about things because you simply dont know but this didn't feel like bliss ignorance.. It doesn't hurt that the store itself is gorgeous with shiny wood floors, and smells amazing, thanks to aromatherapy products. Service was friendly and helpful, but unfortunately didn't make up for the minimal (and pricey!) protein selection found here. As a plus, they do have their own branded bottled products for vitamins and pills. A few reviews here mention a 20% discount, which no one mentioned to me during my visit- not sure if it's a punch card program or what, as it wasn't offered to me. read more
