Came in tonight to buy some clothes for my family and my 4 year old inevitability announces that he has to use the restroom. The very friendly young women who were working in the store had the unfortunate honor of having to enforce the "no restroom" policy. No exceptions. Not for small children. Not for the elderly. The young women confirmed this with the owner. Seems to be a bit rigid of a policy to me. Easy response - wont buy anything from there and I encourage others to do the same.

I was disappointed the jewelry wasn't on sale as last year I bought several unique pieces. I tend to go crazy for 50% off. The children's clothes are precious and there is lots of little kid kitsch. The store was very busy with shoppers during this visit. I spent $100 on misc items. There are lots of quality beachwear items and gift wares as well. I enjoy this shop and the proprietor, whose choice of goods and prices is very favorable. Sadly I got spoiled by last year's end of season sale prices. However my credit card was happy.

(The next…read moreclosest is an hour plus away) I've been looking online at the Lilly Pulitzer website for a Swimsuit but it's so hard to judge something when the company's sizing is all over the place. I decided to stop in today to see if they had a Swimsuit in the style I wanted to try on. This location is definitely more of a boutique style, so it doesn't have a ton of selection compared to the other store I visited in Masequan. Still, they do carry a little of everything from Swim to shoes/jewelry to some pillows. They did have one of the swimsuits I wanted to try but only 1 of the two sizes and only one of the prints. The employee did set me up with a fitting room and asked how I did when I came out. The reason I don't give 5 stars is there was another client the two employees were bending over backwards for (offering to call other places in regards to style/size or ordering online) and when I mentioned I might need a different size and liked another print better, I was told that's the only print they had (online it comes in 2 other print, I believe). Overall, a nice place to get your Lilly fix while in Avalon!

They had the most beautiful dresses, earrings, bags and other pieces of clothing in there so you can definitely find something for you. The woman running the store was the nicest human being and was so helpful for finding things. This place is my new favorite place to shop when in SIC.
