My lab loves interacting with the other dogs. Most dog owners I have seen there do pick up after their dog and are pretty friendly for a conversation while the 4 legged ones are playing around. Very big park - Way FAR away from everything, that's probably why it's so damn big. They have 4 parks one for large dogs and small dogs another for all dogs. I think the last is for maintenance and repairs. I'd come back here on a weekend if I had some extra time for the dog. Parking is good. Google Map it and it'll bring you right here. read more

If you live on the east side of Henderson and your dog loves water, this is the dog park for you. Neither is true for me, but I like to check out different spots around town with my pup. This is a nice, clean, well kept dog park. I really liked that in addition to the standard "big dog" and "small dog" there is an "all dog" area, which is rare in town. There are water features for the dogs to play in, too which can be great for cooling down in the summer heat. read more

My only recommendation is to watch where you step because not all others are conscious of picking up after their furry friends. I only bring my dog here right before a shower. It's a huge park but it smells so bad and I can never walk in the grass with my pup without getting poop in my shoes. Goes to show people don't clean up after their pets. The huge dog in the entrance is always covered in pee hence it's dog park but I don't dare sit in those benches. My dog is an indoor shihtzu so I'm disgusted by all the feces getting inside my house. read more

This place is great; my dog loves it, I love it and everyone is genuinely happy to be there. You can actually meet some pretty cool people here and depending on the time your dog will have plenty of other dogs to interact with. I love walking around something that calls to nature more than being on the strip so this is a win-win for me. read more

If I die and come back as a dog, I am going to live near the Bark Park. Who ever designed the place did a wonderful job. First view a dog with his bone and behind the dog a dog house. the "bones in the park" are for humans to sit on, the dog house is for humans to take care of bodily needs; and the "dog statue" is just cute. As other have mentioned the are 3 parks, dogs under 25 lbs, over 25 lbs and an obstacle course. There is shade canopy and regular seating for humans. Nice green grassy ares for the dogs to run and socialize. My experience is that the dogs in the under 25 lbs are well manner and socialize well. The dogs have their own water park, behind the "dog house" you will find 3 red fire hydrants, that put out a fine mist of water to cool the dogs off on hot summer days. There are "bone seats" for us humans. The park is relatively new bit there is plenty of vegetation, and in a few years the park will be nicely landscaped and some what shaded. A marvelous idea and design, and let me also mention the city maintenance of the park is will taken care of, from doggy bags, to power washing the walkway. Happy to go there as a human, delighted to go there as a dog. read more

I like taking my Boxer Pit here. He definitely has plenty of energy and loves to run and wrestle. The things I like about the park is that its a lot cleaner than the one that is closer to me. I like that the water comes out of fountains instead of it sitting in buckets. It is out of the way but I feel better taking my dogs here. read more

This is my daily spot me and the puppy love it here. Plenty of room for the dogs to run wild and get all that energy out though during the summer months it doesn't offer as much shade in the large dog area as some of the other parks here in Vegas do but with all the grass is a great option to take the pups out to. I have a group here I have known fir about two years and it is very seldom that you see any aggressive dogs in this park and when you do it gets handled fairly quickly. The busy hours are usually in the morning around 6 to 9 and in the afternoon around 5 o clock. There is a nice water feature that is turned on a nine o clock and there are also some really nice walking tracks if your dog isn't used to being around other animals so you can still get all their energy out. read more

My babies are very pampered and some of the dog parks are either sparse or big dogs are allowed with small dogs. After going to heritage I was impressed with the dog parks and the cleanliness of it. My dogs absolutely loved it. I liked how the different areas of park are divided by weight of dog, that way I didn't have to worry about the bigger dogs. We also took advantage of the trails behind the park for them to walk. read more

Don't get me wrong this park is very nice and well maintained! I've been going to this park for over a year now, always in the morning. There's the usual group of people and dogs which i personally have no issues with. BUT their dogs seem to feel overly comfortable like they "own" the dog park. The last four times I've taken my 1 year old lab he's been bitten at, growled at, cornered, pinned down, etc. It would be a full on fight if my dog participated but he's not aggressive whatsoever. All my dog wants to do with ANY dog is run & play, which is obviously why we go to the dog park. I'll give three stars because when the mixed dog park is open we can always resort to the other area, or there are trails behind the parks we can walk on. The best feature at the bark park is the splash pad, unfortunately it only runs during certain hours of the day though. read more

This park is fantastic! I live almost 30 minuets away with many dog parks in between and I will make the trek out here at least once a week. There are small, large, and mixed dog park areas, all separate, and dived by 25+ and below. The mixed area has an agility course set up. There is even a water park to cool the dogs down in the hot summer months. All 3 areas are grass with small areas of gravel and plenty of covered and shaded seating. Everyone here is very friendly and the park is never empty but not packed, great amount of dogs and people. The park is kept clean and provides water fountains and doggy bags. We just moved to LV in March 2016 and keep trying this park bc it's close. Decent park itself. However our black golden doodle has been attacked every time we have tried this place. We have had to put her in the big dog area to keep her from being attacked, even though she's too small for in there. While the park itself is nice, the dogs you run into is a gamble. We live 30 minutes away and it's always worth the drive. Huge clean safe dog park! It's nice they have 3 separate areas too; one for large dogs; one for small-medium dogs; and a general area that includes the agility training. All three are big. Drinking fountains turned on to accommodate your dog, trees for shade, sitting benches, friendly responsible dog owners too. I drove way out of my way to check this place out because I wanted to check out the obstacle course. It was fun...ONCE!! Three big sections (small dogs, large dogs and all size dogs). The grass was very dead and blowing around everywhere on the windy day that I visited. There is covered seating which would be nice in the summer time. I wouldn't drive back to go again as I have much closer dog parks but we did get to check it off the list! read more

We went to this park last night with our dogs to check this park out. It was about 7pm and 45° so there were very few people there. They have 3 dog runs (1 for large dogs, 1 for small dogs and 1 for all size dogs). All 3 runs have benches (some shaded for during the day) and lights. The runs are quite big and our dogs had a blast. They have bathrooms located right in the middle of the 3 runs. Definitely will be back during the day. read more

It's big! Biggest dog park I've been to in Vegas and was even worth the drive from the southwest area. They have three fenced in areas: one for big dogs, little dogs, and both (which has an agility course). They also have two splash pads, one for dogs (which is also fenced in) and one for kids (in a seperate area of course). The dogs and people were all nice and well behaved and the grass was pretty well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on a Saturday evening and will be going back. read more

I love this dog park and have been coming here for nearly 2 years. As others have mentioned, it sits on a few acres so there is plenty of room for the dogs to run/play. It's always clean and I tend to see regulars when we visit. It is about a 20 minute drive for us but worth it. WITH THAT SAID, I'm writing this b/c my car was broken into during my most recent visit. Yes, in broad daylight around 3:00 PMish ! The Henderson police said there have been a string of car break ins at the bark park lately so park goers beware. Please report suspicious behavior and be cautious of anyone that may appear to not belong. I was pretty disappointed this occurred as I love this park but I don't think I will be back anytime soon. read more

I haven't lived with a dog for 40 years, so I'm still learning. The kind dog owners at Heritage Bark Park made my dog and me feel welcome. Bubberz had a great time playing with some of the other little dogs, and when he went off to explore on his own, they gave him the space he wanted. Wonderful park with 3 separate areas with weight limits and a splash pad for dogs. Downfalls include people bringing small dogs in the large dog area of the park and a good portion of people not following spay and neuter law. Otherwise we enjoy the parks frequently. read more
