So glad we came with our dogs! They got to run and smell in the empty general dog area. The small dog area had too many dogs and the large dogs also had their own area. Very clean. Best dog park we ever visited!

First off the address is listed wrong and that put me at the maintenance shed with the big 350 on it. If you go to 350 E Racetrack Rd Henderson, NV 89015 you will be lost and unable to access the dog park, well I suppose you could walk half a mile and get to it. If you are driving keep going past 350 Racetrack heading north, left on Burkholder and then left into the dog park. This is the only entrance unless you want to walk a half mile. The address, and I have submitted it to Google and Yelp! is: 350 Burkerholder St. Henderson NV 89015 It's confusing but yeah. GREAT park oh my goodness why didn't I find this Bark Park sooner? It's a dog park with GRASS!! All the dog parks I have visited have been all dirt. Also this one has a splash pad for dogs! With a LOT of doggy sized water fountains too. Great HUGE dog park (look at the pics!) you need to bring your fur baby here!

I just moved to Henderson and was looking for a dog park for my furry son to visit with other small dogs. This park is located 20 min from my house and has three parks to choose from. They all have grassy areas and plenty of room to run and explore. The people I've met there have been friendly, for the most part. Now for the negative-This place is OVERRUN with dog feces. I pick up at least 3-4 bags of dog poop inside the small dog park every time I go. I've watched owners let their dog crap right in front of me and not bother to pick it up. Pretty gross! And the big dog side is even worse! We've made some doggie buddies but I'm looking for other parks because it's so disgusting. I can't even imagine what the smell is like I'm the summer.

My coal had fun in small dog park it's good for pups to socialise it's very far from where we live but worth the visit anything for my pup‍ they also have separate section for large dog and all dogs also a nice water fountain for pets

This dog park was the best park that my dog Lucy enjoy visiting. People are very respectful and friendly. It is pretty clean and all the dog owner pick up after their pets. There are 3 section of dog park, all dogs, small dogs and large dogs. There is a nice trail walk for all the dogs and owner to enjoy. The restroom are pretty clean and decent. My kids also enjoy visiting this park with our dog and meeting all the kind dog owners.

Chanel and I love this park. When I bring her to see my mom we always take time to come play. All of the dogs are well behaved and the park is super clean!

My lil guy all sleepy after a long run around the park. Sorry didn't get pics at the park.

Love love love this dog park. I have a 2 year old golden retriever puppy and he has a lot of energy. I've taken him to this park numerous times. There's always nice people and good dogs running around having fun. The park offers different areas. Small dog area, large dog area, and mutual dog area. There's also a sprinkler area for the dogs to run around in on hot days, which there are a few of those here...lol. I appreciate that everyone picks up after themselves but also that the city keeps up with the maintenance. It's always very inviting. Me and my furry friend will be there again soon!!!

Today was the day to come to this fun doggy Park. It wasn't easy to find; but we figured it out and upon arrival, we were almost the only ones there It's a beautiful park and has fun water stuff for the doggies. I like the water; but Mochi doesn't so he stayed under the bone bench. There are poo bags, water fountains for Both dogs and peeps, and separated small dogs and big dogs and one for all dogs. All in all a nice place on a hot day like today.

Short staxx just got here

Came here for my kids dog Staxx's 3rd birthday. They usually come here and I must say... it's a quite nice park. A place where your loved dogs can go and be all they can be. They 2 sides, one for the big dogs and one for the little ones, and our 2 fits in either one bcuz the baby (staxx 3yr old basset hound) is young enough for the lil dog side and the older dog (scrappy 13yr old chihuahua) likes hanging out w/the big dogs lol but either or they have a great time. The park is nice and clean and what else can I say? Oh in the front entrance there's this gigantic dog statue which is very welcoming and great for pictures so for a day out to the park on a pleasant day, u should come and check it out! And who knows.... You just might see our 2 there lol have a sweet day will ya? Smooches

I located this place one day while searching yelp for a good dog park in the Henderson area. I was specifically looking for a splash pad and heritage Bark Park has several of them. Every time I've went, I've found the other visitors to be very friendly. The bark park is kept in very good shape and my puppies love it! I would really recommend this place to anybody in the Las Vegas Valley but especially to those of us who live in Henderson, solely due to convenience. They have several sections to their Park that are divided by an area for small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs and all dogs. When I was going here in the summertime during the day, it was really slow because it was warmer. I tried to get my puppies to enjoy the splash pad but they really weren't feeling it, haha. Now that it's cooled down outside, I have been going on Saturday mornings and it's much more crowded but still not overly so. If you are looking for a good dog park, this is the one!

Ask the Community - Heritage Bark Park

Are there lots of sidewalks/areas to walk your pup on leash as well?

Yes, the dog parks are part of a larger park with paved trails on the interior and sidewalks around the edges to walk your dog on a leash. Be warned, plenty of locals ignore the leash and waste removal laws and irresponsibly let their animals roam…

I am new to the area, how is July and August for taking my dog to the dog park as far as the heat and hot ground. I am concerned for her paws and how well dogs are able to tolerate the heat? Thanks!

Hi We took our dogs there last August and they did fine with the heat on their paws. There is a…

Is the water area on or off leash?

It off leash in in just one small area. However it's the best dog park we've found and we love it!! I did just read in a magazine that there is a doggie play area at lake Meade or the man made lake so that may be something fun to check out!!

Best time to visit park?

An hour or so before the sun sets.

The moment you pull in, you'll forget you're surrounded by casinos and endless concrete. The man-made lake is packed with ducks, geese, and pigeons who clearly believe they're the real owners of the park. Bring snacks at your own risk... they'll be watching.... and NO, they're not afraid of humans so they'll be following you around!! If you've got kids, they'll be spoiled with a splash pad and 5 separate playgrounds to conquer. There are jogging trails for anyone pretending they're going to exercise, sports fields for every game imaginable, tons of picnic tables, and enough trees and grass to make you question whether you're still in the desert!?!?! Whether you're looking to walk off last night's buffet, let the kids burn off enough energy to sleep before 8 pm, have a family picnic, or simply escape the neon madness of the Strip, this place delivers!! The massive parking lot on the south end makes getting in and out easy, so the only thing you'll have to fight for is your sandwich if the geese decide it looks delicious, lol!!

Great for pokemon hunting here too.

Only GOS loves you more than a DOG! #ReflectDogs Love &…read moreForgiveness After more than 2000 dog parks across the country, this may be the first dog park that obviously was designed by somebody who not only had dogs but loved them dearly! It is some of the little nuances that make the biggest difference. There are multiple poop bag dispensers and scoop shovels with trash cans all along the nice walking path through the park. But you will notice that the park is not only gigantic, has multiple watering stations along the walk path as well as multiple places to sit! The nice thing is the places to sit are all spaced out across the dog park and because of the natural ground covering the bushes kind of block visibility from one to the other. It says no dog toys on the gates so clearly they are aware of what sets some dogs off. Also not having them all congregate together and be able to see the large groups because of the way the tables are set up, also helps keep things calm. You park fairly close to the park and you can walk around the interior on the path, that is almost completely flat. But it's the natural ground covering that makes it all so nice for the dogs. And just FYI it not only kicks the snot out of, blows the doors off, chews up and spits out the new one in Laughlin, maybe that dog park there comparatively speaking should be called laughed in dog park! So if you're looking to move near the water this one's much nicer

So that leaves me with my only option of grouping my dog with much larger dogs that are 25lbs or more which is dangerous for my tiny 10 pound mini dachshund. In my experience being here a handful of times, I have a found that about half of the owners are careless and do not take responsibility for their pets behavior. My word of caution if you have a small pup anywhere from 6 months to a year old and you want your pup safe just avoid this park. But if you do decide to take your pup to this specific park then I'd suggest you leash them at all times, which kind of defeats the purpose of going to a dog park. This was my experience and sadly at this moment until many things improve, I cannot recommend Kellogg Dog Park.

Pups enjoyed chasing the birds. There's public park bathrooms nearby which is very convenient if you need to use the bathroom or just if you'd like to wash your hands - there's both soap and water as well as sanitizer. The dog park has several concrete benches throughout the park both in the shade and in the sun. We started in the shade but then it was too chilly so we moved to a nice bench and got some sunshine. It wasn't a busy day. We went on Thanksgiving Day. Several dogs came and left. The few people we met were very friendly and talkative in a neighborly way. Dogs are required to be spayed or neutered and over 4 months of age. A good policy to have for any dog park! There's a spacious large dog side and small dog side. Each has its own poop bag stations and water fountains for pups. Trash cans are abundant throughout the park as well. Overall, it's one of the best dog parks in terms of cleanliness, convenience, spaciousness, and design.
