Extreme RV. Great job. Saw trailers from all over. A huge one with Alaska plates. As it gets closer to super summer, you are going to want some shade.

Not conducive to walking a doggie. The price was not $30 per night as shown on web page. It would be $40 per night plus 3% fee for credit card. By far too much to pay for a very primitive campground without Sewer or even a dump station. We left and spent our two nights in town at Hill Country campground. Full service for $40 per night, no extra cc fee.

Not a resort and not as advertised…read more BEWARE - This place is NOT really part of the Arch Ray development other than in name. A lot of places put RESORT in their name anymore, but this place has nothing other than an office, sites and a dumpster. Next time we come back to Fredericksburg we are going to stay at Lantern Oaks that really is a resort. Best tip I can give you is to avoid this place.

As it turned out it was a problem with our rig and not the campground. We stayed 1 night with the generator running and left for home the next morning to get this problem resolved. Butterflies floating and gliding all around me with a good book was precisely what I needed. Later, I headed down one of the paths and came to an area with a big beautiful bird feeder set up in a shaded, tucked away area and a lady asked me if I would like to help fill the feeder. I was honored. She explained she was with Friends of Fredericksburg and they are often out there restocking the feeders for their feathery friends. She mentioned their website and I can't wait to research more about them and their events. I will have to venture back that way soon to check out more of the trails and scenery.
