You can try any of the online brands. If they don't have a model, they can get a twin for you to try out. There was also zero pressure or upselling, just thoughtful advice. We ended up buying their in-house brand, which feels comfortably soft but still supportive. When my husband moves, my side doesn't turn into a slope (great partner isolation!). We also spent much less than we expected and left feeling really good about supporting a local business.

It was only our second store of this particular mattress buying journey, so we hadn't figured out everything yet but he was great in guiding us to some potential options across the store floor. What I loved most about the experience was just how low-key it felt: Stepping into most other mattress stores sometimes feels like being thrown to the sharks at a car dealership, but Sev was politely present as we rolled around on a variety of different beds, giving us just enough space to discuss what we liked or didn't like but making it clear that he was available to us if we had any questions, which we frequently did. We ended up staying for about an hour just testing out a bunch of different mattresses and ultimately what sold us the combination of finding a really great bed and realizing that the owners truly believe in giving you the best experience possible. When Sev gave us quotes for each of the three mattresses we were considering, we were really surprised by how competitive they were and how generous the return policy was as well. He even threw in a pillow that we had been eyeing for free! You can tell these guys are really committed to the customer experience and aren't worried about upcharging you for your mattress, which happens frequently elsewhere and results in stressful bargaining. I ended up going with a Puffy mattress, and after using it for a couple of weeks now, I can honestly say it made a difference. I really appreciate family owned businesses, and try to frequent non-"box" stores whenever possible. I felt the customer service was genuine & superior to other stores, which matters when you are spending a lot of money on an item that will not only be part of your everyday life, but may essentially improve it! This is also important if you might need to return or exchange an item, which is a pain, of course, & something ppl sometimes don't think about w/an essential... James also gave us thorough, patient advice on how to care for our mattress, and Felipe, who assisted with scheduling the delivery and a last minute purchase of a frame was so kind and professional!
