We visited this location three times and each time we were lucky enough to work with Mike, who is the store manager. The entire experience each time was low-pressure but high information. Mike never tried to upsell us anything crazy and has a very good sense for what his customers want/need. The first bed we bought did not work out for us so we ended up doing an exchange. Mike was great with the exchange in addition to the initial sale. My only word of advice is to fully understand the exchange policy and costs as the restocking fee is steep, especially if you've bought an expensive mattress to begin with. In addition to the great service, what we really liked about going to Sit N Sleep is the wide selection. We also visited Saatva in our quest to buy a new mattress, and while their prices and quality are good, their selection is somewhat limited. read more

Joey was so helpful and knowledgeable. He listened to what I wanted, and he nailed it on the very first one he showed me. He of course had me compare it to a number of others and explained all the features of each. Even when he was offering upsells, I never felt any pressure to buy anything other than exactly what I wanted. Delivery process was also smooth and the guys were great. Arrived on time (super early in the morning), put on the mattress cover I ordered and did everything veeerrrrry quickly. If I ever need a mattress again, I'll be back. read more

Mike is one of the best salespeople I've ever dealt with, and it was such a memorable experience that when I needed another mattress, back to Sit 'n Sleep I went with my husband. This time, Alejandro was the sales person on the floor. He could not have been more bored, less attentive, or more insulting. Suffice to say he didn't seem to know the mattresses and was unable to offer any guidance. If we didn't really need a mattress, we would have walked. First, I want to apologize to Mike in the La Brea Blvd store. The person who helped me with my purchase on July 6th was Raymond, not Mike. After reading my review here, Mike, the store manager, called me and assured me the problem would be fixed. He said that they had sent me the wrong frame (full xtra-long instead of regular full) and scheduled a pick up of the wrong one and delivery of the shorter one. Delivery was done as promised but the smart driver measured my bed and the new rails before unloading the truck: they were the same length! so they took back my rails and now I am waiting for a FULL refund. I was shopping for a new bed from top to bottom & decided to check out S&S as well as a VERY HIGH END mattress store. Long story short, I made my purchase at S&S due to several reasons: huge selection, reasonable prices, excellent customer service, product availability & company's reputation. Chris Mora was the sales rep who walked me through the store originally - from the Bed Match experience to the selection of my final 2 choices. He was patient, professional & answered all of my questions. Mike Strand completed my purchase when I returned to the store later in the week. He, too, was very professional and went through all of the warranty info with me & explained how delivery would work. The delivery was also fantastic! I received an automated call & text the night before my delivery date with a 3 hour window. On the day of delivery, I was able to see the truck as it was getting closer & then I received a call when it was 10 minutes away. The delivery guys were great! They set the entire bed up, took my old bed & frame away and removed all the trash!
