The men entered and immediately commented on this little square AC vent in my kitchen which started buzzing last night (needs to be changed) saying with a very smart-ass tone, "Something is annoying in this house". I simply said, it's the vent and ignored it. My washer fails to drain. He barely tried to start it before growing very impatient. I said, "It might be the door lock". He interrupted me before I could say, "I had that issue on a PREVIOUS washer" and started interrogating me on , "Who's removed the covering?" and started pulling very hard on the two front panels. He began telling me this was a panel issue and would cost over 200.00 to fix. I pushed the covering back in place, and began to start the machine which takes a minute. He could not even get it to that point due to his impatience. The machine started to work. He continued to grill me about who's been trying to fix it and pulled the covering loose. I finally looked at him and said very nicely, "I assume you because it's not draining and this was not an issue before you came". He stormed out in this little boy temper-fit manner as if to hurt my grown 54 yr. old feelings. This man is a complete and utter joke as a professional, man, and human being. Unprofessional!! The owner Heath hung up on me three times. We requested service on my GE wall ranges and was told we would have a repairman at my home on Saturday 10/17 between 1:00pm to 5:00pm. We called the office around 4:00pm and they were closed. He was a no show!! Did not receive a return call from anyone! We called on Monday to follow up on the no show on Saturday spoke to Christine who was clueless!! Because we were without the ovens for over a week decided to schedule since things do happen. The appointment was for Tuesday 10/19 between 1-5. Julian showed up at 3:00. He was clueless as to why he was called. He saw the F96 code on my range and called for the part. Then said the part would be in Thursday 10/22 and that he would come around the same time. I gave him $60 and he left. Julian's truck left a huge oil stain on my driveway!! My husband called and spoke to Christine about the oil stain and told her to have him park on the street. At 3:00 on Thursday 10/22 I called the office asking for an ETA and Christine said Julian was in the emergency room with his wife. I told Christine I was sorry and asked why did I not receive a call, she said she did not know. I asked her if the part came in and she told me that she would find out and call me back. I called right back and asked to speak with a manager. She told me Heath would contact me. When Heath called me he asked what part did I order, I told him that makes me nervous and told him my range had a F96 code. He then in an irritated tone told me that he do not know his appointments and that he heard that I told Christine that I was pissed off that he did not show up and that I did not have compassion. I told him to take a deep breath that I was not rude, he then yelled, "Did you or did you not say you had to miss work!!" The owner of company threw my credit card and the receipt at me, he called me an old hag and other cuss words. I'm almost 70 year old woman, 5 feet and 2 inches. There is nothing threatening about me. He literally cussed me out in front of my disabled sister and her caregiver. I have never had such a negative experience with any service repair professional. When he came to my home I asked three to four very simple questions about how we would potentially get the refrigerator part we needed sooner than 5 days, and he immediately became hostile and sharp in his tone. If my husband was not there I would have felt afraid to be alone with this man. I hope he considers that he is serving human customers and such rudeness could cost him his business. I heard them to repair my dryer. Guy showed up and gave me estimate more than i paod for washer. I had to fix it so I said yes. As soon as i said yes he called me again saying there is a possibility that another part is also broken and I said yes to pay extra $50. Called to have the door switch on my front loader washing machine replaced, when I called the lady said it would be 60.00 and I was under the impression she meant for the part to be replaced. Communication was absent because she was meaning the 60.00 was the service fee (I just feel like she should have said that). They were able to get me an appointment very fast but there was a 4 hour window the repair person would show up so I had to be home all day. He came and took a look at said it would be 270.00 to fix which I was not going to do- he said the part at least cost them 100.00 (also he was very nice the price was just ridiculous). I still had to pay the 60.00 for him to come to my house. This is the first time in my life where calling a repair man ended up with me at a police station ready to press charges for theft. I don't know how any of the positive reviews for this man could be real. Our interaction with Heath Holliman was one of the most bizarre and unprofessional events of my life. The woman in the office (who is apparently his wife) miscommunicated the details of the service fee so when Heath came out and quoted us differently, we brought this up and he immediately became belligerent and rude. He seemed to think we were trying to scam him out of something and became combative, would not let us even speak, and at one point told my husband if he didn't stop speaking about his wife, he would fight him. All of this is happening in our house after he's opened up our dryer and the parts are all over the place. He CONSTANTLY talked over us, interrupted us, and was extremely condescending. I've never in my life encountered someone so rude. When finally my husband refused to pay anything (Heath did not fix the dryer because we had our own parts and, as he so impolitely explained, "this is a business and I have to make money"), he literally took the manifold from our dryer and stormed out the door, telling us "good luck proving it [him stealing the manifold] in court." But we're not done. About a half hour later, he called us back and said he was going to be "the bigger man" and "make it right even though I don't owe it to you." We started our interactions with Fix It Right in early November of 2021. They performed an initial diagnosis and then 3 attempts to fix the same problem. When we scheduled the 4th attempt I was unable to be home and was going to have a neighbor meet them. I also asked that they send me a bill as my neighbor could not pay them. Not too long after, the owner called me and immediately began yelling at me and telling me they don't bill people and I would not tell him how to run his business. He also said that they would try one more time and if it wasn't fixed they would close the job. I told him it was still under watranty to which he said, "You know what, we are done with you, this job is closed!", and hung up on me. I tried to call him back and he would not answer. I asked him several times, via text, to please speak with me. He refused. He eventually responded that he would try one more time if I would call LG and ask why what they were doing was not working. I have never been yelled at by a service provider and I have never been asked to solve my own problem by a service provider. William and Julian, the service techs, were very nice to work with, but the owner was the most hateful "professional" with which I have ever worked. I called this Fix It Right Appliance, left a message on their voicemail, and someone in the office returned my call in a few minutes. I explained to the lady that my daughter has an LG refrigerator that wasn't cooling and I wanted to see if they would look at it. She committed to have someone look at it, made an appointment for the next morning, and secured their $65 service fee with my credit card. The next morning at almost the appointment time, my daughter gets a call from Joshua (the owner) letting her know what the problem was with the refrigerator and he could not/would not work on it today because of the problem with the refrigerator. My daughter questioned how he could possibly know what was wrong without any diagnostic testing. He became irritated that she questioned him. She told him he was acting rude so he hung up on her. She called the office to complain of the rude technician to find that he was the owner. She told the wife that was going to give them a bad online review. Later, the owner's wife called me and I found this is a systemic problem. This prompted Joshua to call me to explain how my daughter was in the wrong and how he was trying to save her money. He said he couldn't repair the problem (he had diagnosed without any testing) today and he didn't want to charge her $70 for a service call and not fix the problem. The service fee just increased without any notice. Thank goodness he called and acted up over the telephone instead of showing up at my daughter's home then became rude and condescending. I called back to get the repair they repaired fixed. I called within 30 days of their original repair that didn't work. I was told they could not come out at a convenient time for me. I rearranged my schedule. The woman at the office would not stop interrupting me long enough to let me explain what was going on with the appliance. After spending $240 to replace a motor coupling and $360 to replace the transmission (yes, $600 total) the spin still doesn't function. Requested Fix-It-Right to come fix the mistake and they have declined to make the service call, suggesting that our voicemail communicating the issue was "hostile" and they felt "unsafe". He gave me a quote over the phone and said the trip charge would be waived if i used him. With the quote he gave me with the correct diagnosis, i agreed to have him repair my fridge. When he got there, he jacked the price up by $100. When i disagreed he got angry and very RUDE. My wife and kids got scared and he said if i didn't use him I would still have to pay the $75 charge. Please take the reviews seriously on this company.  I sure wish we would have looked more closely at them before calling this company for repair service.  Sadly, comments related to attitude and rudeness seem to be right in line with our experience. Our approximately 10 year old LG washer stopped working - the drum wouldn't spin and the machine showed an LE code.  My wife called Fix-It-Right but apparently someone from Fix-It-Wrong may have answered the phone.  Our second mistake - the first was calling this company - was to incorrectly assume that the person who answered the phone and started the ticket would accurately document the problem as an LE code and share it with the technician.  It appears she just wrote down that something was noisy or she didn't write anything at all.  More on this later. 1st trip - The technician completed his trouble shooting on a Tuesday and determined the need for a new rotor assembly.  He collected $100, ordered the part and set up an installation appointment for Friday. 2nd trip - The tech returned on Friday with the rotor and installed it.  He indicated that we'd have to wait for silicone to set up before the repair could be tested so we didn't know if it worked or not at this point.  We tried the washer on Saturday and the LE code persisted.  We started call and had a hard time reaching anyone at the company but eventually we were able to set up another appointment. 3rd trip - The tech returned and heard noise in the drum this time.  He indicated he should have found this earlier by doing more comprehensive troubleshooting on his original trip and indicated he wouldn't charge for this trip.  He proceeded to disassemble most of the machine and "found a penny in between the drums".  He put everything back together again but no testing occurred because of silicone needing to cure.  We tried the machine again on Monday.  You guessed it - the machine still did not work and the LE code persisted. We spent Monday unsuccessfully trying to contact both the tech and the company's main number; none of the calls were returned.  On Tuesday afternoon we finally were able to get someone to answer on the main number and set up yet another appointment for Wednesday.  On this call, my wife was told that over the weekend they let go of the tech who had been working on our machine. We received a call Wednesday morning from the "tech who was going to fix the problem". I think we were actually speaking with the owner of the establishment.  He seemed to be the aggressive type and appeared to be light on the details around what had happened previously.  He quickly told us we'd have to order a new motor for the machine.  This was the first time anything was even mentioned about the potential for needing a new motor and associated additional charges. He seemed agitated when he was talking to my wife and frequently talked over her.  I jumped on the phone and said that we're just looking to get a fix for the same LE code we had at the start of all this, before we were out $320.  He replied that the ticket didn't state anything about an LE code.  When I said that we didn't have any control over what they wrote on their ticket he became even more agitated.  I asked that he get his tone in check and the phone disconnected - he later admitted to hanging up on me.  I called him back immediately; someone picked up and hung up right away.  This happened several times.  He then sent this in a text - "Excuse you.  I was speaking calmly and respectfully so we are done.  Please call someone else.  Thanks." From that point we've had a few texts back and forth where he threatened to sue me for defamation of character and bill my CC for an additional $360 for the third trip if I posted a negative review.  Classy threats!  The truth is that if they would have told us that with the LE code we'd likely need a rotor and motor for $500+ we'd have just bought a new machine. At this point, I have to either buy another washer or figure out how to fix this thing myself. I truly hope that nobody else has to go through this kind of experience. read more

We called on New Year's eve and expecting to be told that they would have to come out after the New Year. He said he could be here same day and told me up front what the fee to look at the fridge was going to be and that he would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. He called and was here quickly. The service call fee was waived because we decided to go ahead and have him do the repair. He spent about 35 minutes here and it was well worth it to know that the fridge is fixed. WORST customer service I've ever experienced in my life! I would prefer to not leave even one star but are required to in order to post here. The technician complained about how hot the condo was and was sighing heavily while taking the washer/dryer circuit board off the back of washer. Afterwards he said it's not worth fixing and started to proceed to push the unit back into place. When he started struggling getting it pushed back he stated he didn't have the time to fool with it any longer. I then told him how bad and unprofessional it was to leave the unit pulled out in the middle of the floor. He started packing up his tools and told me "I could stick it up my ASS"! He then started running to the front door with me following behind him and stating how unprofessional he was acting. When I asked if he was seriously cussing at me, he stated, "you heard me right". He then slammed the front door so hard in my face and continued practically running to his truck. I came outside and he was still continuing to act extremely unprofessional and got in his truck and sped out of the property parking lot. The young "technician" did not methodically troubleshoot. His suggestion boiled down to changing every part in the oven until it worked right, starting with the most expensive. I was quoted $500+ for control board and labor. He said "I guarantee you the problem is the control board". He was wrong and I paid $80 for a bad diagnosis. He would have been unable to do anything that required two hands, because he needed one to hold his pants up. I was able to read the schematic myself and do simple testing to identify a bad $25 temp sensor. Calling Fix-it-Right was wrong and a waste of time and money. read more

I would not recommend to anyone based on the level of unprofessionalism shown by the gentleman that showed up to assess what the issue is with our appliance. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a business. The "Fix-It-Right" logo is just a logo. Heath Holloman behaved like a psychotic child over the phone. A technician (Julian) from their company came to our house to repair a leaking dishwasher last week and assured my husband that it was fixed. When my husband ran it, it was still leaking. Julian said that he would come back this week and fix it. 6 days later I received a call from Heath demanding I find and read the invoice that Julian had left with my husband. I didn't have it and he indicated he would need to look it up and somehow that would take another 24 hours. I then confirmed that he would not be coming today. Heath became accusatory and belligerent stating that if I didn't like the way he did business that I could just find somebody else to come and fix the dishwasher and then hung up on me. This was after paying $120 for the service and the statement that they would be back to fix the problem at no extra charge. I called back and Heath did not answer the phone. Then I called the office and spoke the rudest receptionist I can imagine. I tried to explain that money was tight and wondered if anyone else could help. She had apparently been listening to the conversation with Heath and he was sitting right next to her. She said that I was at fault I had been rude and that I was being dramatic calling in tears at the way I had just been treated and spoken to. My advice is not to EVER go through this company. I was shocked at how unprofessional this company is from its technicians up to its management. First, I was told by a technician that they would have the part and be able to fix my fridge on Wednesday of last week. They never came or called to explain the delay. I called on Friday of last week and the tech said he could come Sunday but would call Saturday to confirm. He never called or came. Today (Tuesday of the following week) I get 3 calls back-to-back and a voicemail with a nasty tone from another tech that said if I didn't call back ASAP they would have to reschedule me. (They were happy to ignore the commitment they made to me to fix my fridge last week but they expected me to drop everything to pick up their phone calls a week later.) When I got out of class I called back and the tech told me impatiently that I had to be rescheduled. Naturally I was upset and began to argue, but instead of trying to work with me, he just hung up. If I was yelling or cursing at him I would understand why he would hang up, but I was not. I was just an upset customer that wanted answers and I was simply hung-up on. Second, we contacted the office to explain our frustrations at their unprofessional tech and guess what she did... She hung up on us. Third, we were contacted by the owner Heath, not to apologize about our experience, but to call our behavior hostile. This is the experience we had with Repair Appliance Service Fix it Right. Since zero stars is not a option...I ended up cancelling my appointment due to the lack of communication and rudeness I experienced over the phone with an associate. He failed to call me in a timely manner and once he did he was brash and ended the phone call abruptly. He never showed up for the appointment and told me thru text that I would be charged a trip fee. When I disputed it, he became more unprofessional and even aggressive stating thru text "we don't need or want your business" and "thanks for the free tax deduction." After requesting that he shouldn't respond to me at all, he proceeded to harass me further by continuing to text. I called the main number provided online and expressed my dissatisfaction with someone at the office and there wasn't even an apology offered. I would not recommend this company simply on the basis of being unreliable and improper. Its hard to invest in small businesses when customer service isn't a priority. read more
