The room designated for her salon is large and extremely clean. She has definitely thought of every detail for her clients. I remember prior to covid, she had a basket of fidgets, massages, gum, candy, etc to make your experience more comfortable. There is a bathroom that has different things to meet your needs (wipes, pads, whatever!) So far I have gotten her Brazilians, eye brow wax, and lash tint and lift. I have been in during covid and I appreciate all the cleanliness and safety precautions set in place. She does everything she can to keep both her clients and herself safe. On July 11th around 1pm, my mom and I visited this Ulta to do some shopping. I originally just needed a restock of my Mac powder foundation but I noticed my shade was out of stock, so the Mac Associate recommended trying the liquid foundation. My mom was intrigued and we both ended up sitting down to get a shade match. The Mac associate was so extremely personable and friendly. My mom explained a lot of products don't work on her mature skin anymore and it makes her sad. The Mac associate responded by telling her getting older is actually a privilege and something we should be thankful for and proceeded to offer many ways to help with her skin and what it might take better as far as product wise. The Mac Representative gave my mom and I a wonderful experience and I would recommend stopping at this Ulta if you are looking for more information or help with Mac products. She recommended products that have helped my fine, thin hair. She listened to me well enough to find the color I love. I keep coming back to refresh it and to see her. She remembers me well enough to ask questions about what has been going on in my life between appointments, which I perceive as among her talents, since she must have many clients. When there is a long checkout line, it seems the ladies behind the registers do their best to keep it moving.

For some clarity, this is for the new ownership I assume, and there were only 2 techs at the shop this day, with me and another client there. First, I arrived promptly to my appointment and the lady doing my nails can be heard in the back on the phone for about 7 mins. During my time waiting, the other client had been sat and already had got started on her nails. Secondly, my tech had a nasty attitude saying that i was late and that she called me the day before to confirm my appointment. I let her know that I had called her on Saturday and kindly fact checked her. Thirdly, less than 7 days from my original appointment, 2 of my gel-x tips popped off nice and clean. You can see and feel the layer of gel on my natural nail. I'm not sure what part she skipped or if it really just a result of poor quality supplies. Overall, if you're looking for gel-x, make sure they're using the Apres system. It has never failed me, and i've had sets last over 4 weeks with no problems.

I came in with a huge breakout over my chin and told her that it was happening due to my retinol treatment. She advised me to stop the retinol (which is the opposite of the advice I had been given since my skin is likely purging from it but will stop once it runs its course). During the treatment I never felt her cleanse my skin (which she insisted that she did) or apply serums or creams, I felt barely anything go on and only light touches from her. She never told me what she was putting on my skin. To my horror, at the end she advised that I use neosporin on my acne and do honey masks. Both of which are not advised by anything you see online. I had to rush home to wash my skin in fear that the neosporin would start to do damage immediately. She offered to have my come back for free to do extractions but I will not return, to say the least. I am sure that this woman provides adequate facials to those with normal skin but I would never advise someone with serious acne seeing her.

I tried to remove it myself using apple cider vinegar, to no avail. I called up a local skin care place in Bellevue, but they were all booked and said it was cost $200+ minimum. My girlfriend found Aroma Skincare, and though it was much further away, I decided to give it a shot! The procedure was quick, easy, and an amazingly low price! (Won't discuss prices as it will depend on the size of your skin tag). She used a laser, and it only took her a couple minutes to get rid of it. There is no trace of the skin tag anymore! I was told by the person who sold me the package when I made the purchase that it would take 2-3 sessions, and then I could bank the remaining sessions for touch ups down the road. At the end of my 6th session, I was told it takes an average of 12 sessions. I was so disappointed that I was misled by the original sales rep. I felt stuck because I wasn't anticipating another large bill to finish. When I received the new bill, it was actually quite a bit more than my first 6 sessions, and I was told prices had gone up and there was nothing they could do. For the record, Jena (who manages the laser hair) is awesome, and I feel like she knew I'd been deceived. I got the sense I might not have been alone. But it seems to me like since I spent close to $2k on that initial package under the impression that was all I would need, that when I needed more sessions, they should have offered the remaining sessions at a significant discount. I never would have started if I knew they would cost that much more.
