This place is a hidden gem! Small menu which I like, tacos are amazing and recipes are from the great grandfather. Ruby and Manny (her dad) are very kind and caring. A lot of love goes into their food. I love all their tacos, chips and awesome salsa! They also have a burrito, enchilada, taco salad and a few other items. Known for their Senoran Hot Dog, also very yum! They make everything to order, so your food doesn't come out 2 min after you order. There is a lot of love that goes into this. Going in we were met with a very homey ambiance and very friendly staff , Our server Sebastian was on his game and attentive and gave amazing recommendations ! I got 2 of their special Hermosillo hot dogs and 2 tacos de asada that were to die for !! Definitely worth the visit. Limited menu seems to be carefully curated. The signature hot dog is absolutely flavorful and satisfying. I had that and my wife had the Birria tacos. That and the chips & salsa were excellent. The atmosphere was meh, but that may have been that we were the only ones in it. The Mexican Coke was ice cold . Came here with a friend pretty late into the evening. I found the service to be okay. We walked in and the workers in the back of the house didn't acknowledge us but we still waited around. Visiting AZ and wanted to see what the foodie scene was about. On a time table this was the closest we found on Yelp. EXPERIENCE: Parking: It's in a spacious vendor lot, not a popping place so you shouldn't have too much issues. Feels: The spot itself is close to a busy street, the vendor itself is in this open field for other vendors ranging from rocks, fresh produce, and clothing. Great to stop by and support local vendors. Hot Dog (A-Ok) In it's most authentic street/go to form it's a good go to. The bun was warm, hotdog was cooked wrapped in bacon and smothered with cheese, onion, tomatoes, mustard, and beans. If you're from Cali this is a standard bite. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great! Friendly people and quick service. OVERALL: 3.5 Stars. Reasonable price and solid food. Maybe not THE place to be but still a good spot. I can't believe how many people I've talked with have never tried (or have been afraid to try), this little food truck (trailer, actually), located at the far end of the gravel lot, across from Reese's Tires, in Cottonwood, AZ. This guy makes THE BEST ceviche in the entire Verde Valley. I was in Mexico recently. Not even the ceviche in Mexico was this good. Made fresh daily, the ceviche is authentic lime-based ("cooked"), and not the quick, fast Clamato-based, as is found in most places. Served on a crisp tortilla, with freshly sliced avocados and lime, it is simply AMAZING! ($4.00). Also you MUST try this guy's Sonoran hot dogs! Be certain to order the hot dog "with everything" ($2.50). Again, AMAZING! He even uses fresh-daily buns from Romeros Panaderia (another hidden gem in Cottonwood). Everyone I turn on to these hot dogs become hooked, no exaggeration! Tucson is supposed to be the place for the best Sonoran hot dogs. People have told me Hermosillo Sonoran hot dogs, Cottonwood, are FAR superior to those in Tucson. I keep telling this guy he needs to open a little restaurant in the area.
