You will find entire outfits here, that are so flattering, yet affordable (e.g. $26-$36 for many items and $20 or less for jewelry and accessories that complete the outfit.) The clothes/accessories are also unique, but totally wearable, dress up, dressed down, casually on the weekends, to work, out to a concert. Everything. Versatile! I swear, I get compliments every time I wear anything that I bought here. The other thing that is so fantastic is that Anne, the owner, will help you choose all sorts of things that you wouldn't have considered, help you put outfits together, make suggestions, she's completely delightful!!! To my dismay, the shoes were returned to me without the original box and dust bag! The shop owner insisted it's their policy to not keep boxes/ dust bags due to space and I would have been notified of this at the time of my selling. These items add value to resale items and I NEVER would've voluntarily let them be tossed in the garbage. Had I known this policy, I would've taken them home just in case the shoes didn't sell. On top of this, I found out the shoes were priced to sell at the shop for more than I had originally paid for them! Of course they wouldn't sell at a crazy inflated price! Everything in this store is overpriced for the used junk that it is.

The space is noticeably bigger than their previous one, which gives them more staging area and space to offer larger pieces of furniture, artwork, and clothing in addition to all the unique goodies they already carried within the store that are smaller scale. Everything here is extremely pricey, which is unfortunate for me given that there are many things I love from here, but I just simply can't justify spending exorbitant amounts of money on these sorts of homegoods and accessories too often. The products they carry are definitely geared towards the more affluent and those with lofty home design ideas, as they also have fabric samples and the like to help you design and customize your furniture and upholstery upon them in the back of the store too. The price tags make sense in the sense that I have not seen any of the products they offer in any other stores in the metro Detroit area, so there's nothing to compare their goods to. This is a great place to window shop or stop in to get inspiration for your home and to pick up a unique piece or two. I'm still thinking about the tatted up Albert Einstein piece of artwork (included in the photos!), which I love so much, but even just the print of it without it framed was already $70-80 and that's a hard price to justify even for hot Albert Einstein! I like how every time I stop in to Talulah Belle, there's always new discoveries to be had. I discovered this shop about a month ago and have visited three times since, making purchases on…read moreeach visit. I always bring my girlfriend with me when I come in. However, I've noticed a consistent pattern that's made me increasingly uncomfortable. Each time we're in the store, the staff behaves as if we're being watched closely--asking if we want items held at the counter or having an employee follow us under the pretense of folding shirts while we browse. I've spent over $100 here so far and don't appreciate being treated with suspicion. Having worked in retail myself, I'm familiar with the signs of someone being monitored because they're assumed to be stealing, and that's how it feels every time I shop here. I really like the shop's selection--especially the Jellycats--but there are other local stores that carry similar products. I'm willing to give the shop one more chance, but if I experience this same treatment again, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
