    Chicken sandwich
    Stephan T. N.

Visiting from the East Coast and wanted to find the perfect spot to catch a World Cup game -- this place nailed it. Plenty of TVs, a lively atmosphere, and a staff that made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Great energy all around, especially with the World Cup crowd. We ordered the chicken sandwich, chicken Caesar salad, and calamari -- all solid choices. The food was good, but fair warning: come hungry or plan on a to-go box, because the portions are generously sized. We're in the area for a few more days and will definitely be back to catch another match. This is exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble upon when you're away from home. Vive la France!

Fun ambiance, reminds me of National Lampoon's Xmas Vacation movie. Portions are large! Perfect for sharing. The garden salad w/house ranch was so good and was a great choice to pair with the burnt ends and flight of IPAs. The calamari was delicious. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meals: Cajun Chicken Pasta, Jumbo, and Pizza.

My wife and I dined here on a recent Saturday evening before attending a Candlelight Concert in Claremeont. The restaurant was already busy when we arrived around 1715. We waitied for approximately ten minutes before were called on my cell phone that our table was ready. As soon as we were seated and handed our menus, a server asked if we were ready to place our order. We told her no, since we were just seated. We did, however, place our beverage order. No sooner than when thatserver left with our drink order, another seever came to our table and asked if we were ready to order. We explained that our drink order was just taken, but we some time to look over the menu. Almost as soon as the second server departed our table, our drink order arrived. She then asked if we would like any appetizers, we ordered a half order of the cheese bread. we also placed our entrees order. Half order of cheese bread: $8.45; Pub Fish & Chips: $27.45 California Reuben with Garlic Fires: $21.45 + $2.95 Two Sodas: $@.95 each Pre-Tip Total: $75.36 We boith tried a piece of the cheese bread. Wow! We have not cheese bread such as this version before, and it was absolutely delicious! We ate it plain without dipping it into the accompanying marinara sauce (which I tasted and reminded me of a commercially prepared pedestrian, marinara sauce). This bread instantly has became one of our favorite appetizers to order at a Heroes branded restuarant. Ww barely had time to finish off our first piece of cheese bread when our entrees arrived. My wife's fish and chips looked really inviting to eat. The serving amount of fsih was appropriate and generous for the menu pricing. My wife enjoyed her lightly battered fish which was not greasy and oily to eat. She also devoured her coleslaw which she is very selective of how's it made, and the level of tanginess, which was just right for her. I dove into my California Reuben which swaps out the sauerkraut for coleslaw: all the other traditional ingredients are still used. The sandwich was generously stuffed with meat and coleslaw. Be sure to ask for extra napkins because this sandwich is messy but delicious to eat! The only minor gripe we have was the amount of times out table was approached by a whole slew of staff constantly asking us if we needed anything etc. One to three time during a meal for us is adequate, but it seems like the staff was overcompensating for some previous comments made about several Heroes restaurants having staff who perefer to talk amongst themselcves near the bar than attend to their diners. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here and look forward to eating at Heroes and Roscoes restaurants often. Hoping the owners will consider opening in the Murrieta/Temeucla area in the near future!

Food portions are HUGE!! Wife and I ordered the nachos and fish and chips both were good. We took most of it home because we couldn't even come close to finishing.. service was great! Lots of tv to watch little on the loud side for me but really nice clean..

I went to Heroes next to the Ontario Mills Mall after shopping, and it was a really convenient stop to grab food. The wait wasn't too long, maybe about 20 minutes, and once we were seated the service moved pretty quickly. The portions are very big, so you definitely get a lot of food for what you order. The inside is also very spacious, which is nice, but it can get a little noisy since it's a larger and busy restaurant, and the food was overall good . Customer service was also great; the staff was friendly and our food came out pretty fast, so it felt like an in and out experience even with how busy it was. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're around Ontario Mills and want a filling meal without a long wait. I'd definitely come back again after shopping to try other items on the menu.

Found this place after a long day of shopping and it did not disappoint! It's a pretty large restaurant with different rooms- great for large parties too! The bar area had a ton of tvs showing sports and people were having a lot of fun watching. Service was great and they were super attentive throughout our whole meal. We ordered an appetizer, salad, and burger for two of us and we weren't able to finish all our food. The portions were humongous and definitely worth your money. Their beers are also HUGE and my husband loved the ale he ordered. Can't wait to come back!

Came to watch the World Cup game Spain vs Argentina. We were quoted an hour to an hour and a half. After waiting for 10 minutes, we heard another hostess telling someone checking in "patio seating is about 20 minutes" so we immediately got up and said we would like to sit wherever we can get in first. Would've been nice to know that option ahead of time, we didn't even know they had a patio. We got seated a few minutes later and ordered. The TV we were seated in front of was off/not working and the one to the left was partially not working. However, the food was fresh and came out quickly. Drinks were delicious. Server was attentive and nice. The patio had shade and multiple fans which was nice for this heat.

Yummy bowl of chili! Loved it-

We came here on a Sunday after watching the Little League game and sat at the bar. The restaurant is packed with families. We ordered draft beers, bowl of chili and fish & chips. Total came to ~$80 before tipping. The chili was delicious, great flavor and toppings. We do not recommend the fish & chips. The fish is dense, greasy and was light like we were hoping. Great family place, humungous menu and their michelada (which we don't have) looked great. Definitely give it a try.

Food is delicious Drinks are trash and their glasses are dirty and they smell terrible Our server was amazing though

The interior of Heroes is akin to an American museum with pictures of historic icons all over the walls. There were plenty of televisions with various sports on, so if thats your thing then this is the place. The service was lacking, it may have been our particular server, but he was cold, flat, and inattentive. After he got our order we never saw him again. The food was alright, but not for what we paid. Spending $20 on a burger I expected it to blow my mind, but it was only okay. Heroes is definitely a place to go for the ambiance rather than the food.

    Sticky Ribs And Fries

The sticky pork ribs were tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the crispy garlic Parmesan fries. They also have a great selection of drinks, attentive staff, and plenty of TVs, making it a great spot to watch sports. Good food, good drinks, and a fun atmosphere!

My first time hearing about Heroes. It's at Ontario Mills mall on the outside area of the mall. The food is really good and the portions are super large! We had a pizza, a wedge salad, a Hero foot long all beef dog and chips and salsa/guacamole. Everything was amazing and fresh. We had Blue Moon beer, iced tea and a Bloody Mary. Very good food and friendly atmosphere.

    Brunch menu

Birthday person wanted a good Ruben sandwich so a quick yelp search brought us here. It was a short drive from K1. We arrived at opening and got seated right away. Inside was clean, dim lighting. But lots of wall decor to look at. The brunch menus offered a wide variety of delicious sounding options. The regular menu also had a decent selection of yum. We ordered the Ruben, kids corn dog, and California chicken club. The food came out hot, fresh and juicy. The iced tea came in a giant glass it was comical in my little hands. Food was delicious ! Would definitely return. I think this weekend was graduation for the local colleges as the place filled up quickly with groups celebrating graduates making the wait up to 2 hours to be seated. Staff was very friendly and kept checking in on us. Large portion sizes of food.

What a Complete Sh*t Show. I will never ever eat here again…read more Last night, 9/5/2026 I came to eat for a friend's party. He had reservations. We ordered our first round of drinks and our food witch took super long to get, and we when had to remind the secret of our drinks. This was when our group was only about 5 people. The party grew bigger, and the service got even slower and worse. My wife and I went to go play games. We came back and ordered another beer and water. Some of the group had paid and left. We still had about 20 people. Some other friends asked to pay their bill. They received the paid bill returned with another persons credit card. It was not anyone in the groups card, so she used a strangers card. We had still not obtained our water or beer. When the waitress came back she was all discombobulated. No one could get their bills. We were basically held hostage for over an hour while they tried to figure it out. We never got our water or our beer. Finally they were able to pull up one bill for everyone. But they had added the "mandatory" tip to it. They had to go back and take it off. Then we had to have one person pay and we had to Zelle or Venmo them. We were being very respectful through the whole ordeal, but yet they had 3 of their "Top Flight Security" team stand near us and be on their phones. This was one of the worst experiences I have had at a dining establishment, besides a few in the south in the 80's. I can't believe we were held hostage for over an hour, with no beverages that we ordered, or any compensation at all. I do not know how they are allowed to run a business like this. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANY DAVE & BUSTER'S again. NO MAMES. Do yourself a favor, and save yourself a headache, frustration and more. We decided to switch to shuffleboard and that's when the issues started. We had originally ordered micheladas with modelo negra with our server, however when we started ordering from the bar, the bartender stated that they didn't have that beer. Not an issue but it just seemed weird since someone else from our group had ordered one 10 minutes before that. Then the bartender had an attitude when my friend tried to order 4 drinks for our group because apparently every single person had to be there to order their own drinks, even though we had already ordered with our server. Also not an issue but the attitude we were receiving was unwarranted. Then the real issue started. We went on with our night and they announced at 10:15 that this was last call and the last drink would be served at 10:30. We go to order a final round at 10:19 and the bartender says that last call is over. We think that's weird but finish playing our last round of shuffleboard. At 10:30 the manager announces that last call is over. My friend went to speak with the manager about the bartender lying and being rude and we were met with even more rudeness from the manager. The bartender yelled at my friend that he would meet him outside (I'm assuming to fight). Two of our other friends stayed back to try to speak with the manager and the bartender lied and said that what happened wasn't the case and that they were out of tajin (which wasn't asked for) and that we came after 10:30. Not once did the manager take anything we had said into consideration. After seeing how low the reviews for this location are in comparison to other Big Al's locations, I'm not surprised as to why. Not only do they have staff members that threaten physical violence, but they also have managers that think that behavior like that is acceptable. All in all, if you feel like you'll have a good time getting lied to, terrible service, and threatened, this is the perfect place for you. If you care about your family, I would not recommend coming here.

The biggest issue was that my chicken wings still had pin feathers and feather shafts sticking out of the skin. That's a quality control issue that should never make it to a customer's table. I sent my first plate back, but it honestly looked like the same plate was brought back with more oil or sauce poured over it. The pin feathers and feather shafts were still there, so nothing had actually been corrected. Even though the waitress tried to make it right the kitchen didn't put in any effort. My wife works in the restaurant industry and said the sauces should be kept at a certain temperature stored and she thinks they weren't because the sauces have separated so there's oil on the bottom and the wings looked colored but my son said the flavor didn't stick to it, it was oil an chunks of butter so I don't know what's up with that also. I couldn't get past the feather stocks attached and lack of preparation. I've eaten at Hooters for many years and have visited locations all over Southern California. Before COVID, I regularly went to the Riverside location until it closed. I was disappointed when I saw several other locations had also closed, including the one near Angel Stadium. When I found out the Ontario Mills location was still open, my family and I were excited to go. We even planned to order a large amount so we'd have leftovers to enjoy the next day. Unfortunately, the food was nothing like what I've consistently received from Hooters over the years. The wings didn't meet the standard I've always associated with the brand, and finding feathers still attached to the chicken made the meal unappetizing. When I brought it to the staff's attention, I expected a fresh replacement, not what appeared to be the same order returned to me. I don't blame the waitress because she really tried to make it right even saying it was something she wouldn't want either. I hope management takes this seriously. But if the manager was the girl in black she never left the bar where she was hanging out with a guy in conversation the whole time we where there but that's if she is even the manager because the manager never came over to talk to us. I've always been a loyal customer and would much rather leave a positive review than this one, but this experience was not acceptable and left me very disappointed. It really grossed me out!

It wasn't just us--it seemed like multiple people at the bar were waiting to be acknowledged. The service completely changed once the gentleman with curly hair came behind the bar. He was excellent. He immediately started checking on everyone, asking if they needed drinks or anything else, and didn't waste any time taking care of customers. His customer service was exactly what you would expect from a good bartender. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and beer and would come back, but the difference in service between the two bartenders was night and day. Hopefully management can address the attentiveness issue because everything else about the place was great.

Una mas? Si! por…read morefavor! My go to beer is Una Mas and it never disappoints. I like this place, it's a nice addition to the area, nice vibe and a great patio area with a fire pits and heaters and plenty of seating. The staff do their best to accommodate when it's busy, and people complaining about it are just not used to the way things are run here. I don't mind it, but I'm a patient guy. Bbq is not bad at all! The beer is great, staff is friendly! Come try em out for yourself!
