Came here for a wine event and it was very nice! They had a very good pizza vendor/ catering company called Fire Fresh Pizza. The pizza was very good good. They also have small bites like pretzels, cookies, and chips. Everyone was really nice here and good vibes here. It gets really busy and it has many seating areas. Good ambiance and a private section if you want an event here. They have a lot of Ales here with different flavors. It's good to watch games and chill with your friends and family. I went here for a Plume Ridge wine fest tasting and had a fantastic time. They had 16 wine tastings to choose from. This place had all kinds of beers and a pizza man out front that had a unique style of pizza. The service was excellent. We were in the private room for the tasting but could go out to the beer area and purchase beer and food. I ordered an amazing pastrami pizza. Easy parking and located next to other beer restaurants and the Plume Ridge Wine the area looks industrial but it's located in the back. They have signs that will guide you there. I love coming here! My colleagues and I come here occasionally for work meetups because it's convenient, clean, and quick. The workers here are always friendly and funny. Dropped in with friends on a whim. The place was busy even on a weeknight. I had to circle around a bit to find a spot which was still a few doors down. Inside, there were lots of tables. The vibe was quite chill. Definitely a good hangout spot. I'm not into IPAs which is super popular among craft beer fans. Still, there were a good number of selections that were not IPAs. I ended up getting a flight and really enjoyed everything but the Pepper & Peach and the Root & Fruit which were the two hoppy ones I ventured out on a limb to try. What a fun surprise! I came here on a last-minute invite for trivia night, and I'm so glad I did. Even though I'm not a beer drinker, the vibe was fantastic--lively crowd for a Wednesday night and such a welcoming atmosphere. Claremont Craft Ales is a local brewery that is dog friendly. My husband and I came to this brewery with a family friend two Sundays ago (unfortunately sans our little girl dog). We arrived at 12:45 pm. We just had one person ahead of us in line, there were also other patrons just hanging around enjoying their beer. We ended up ordering 2 beer flights, $30 total. My husband paid for our family friend's beer flight and I just tried a little bit of my husband's beer flight. Our flight came with 6 beers of our choice, in which my husband got: Willow, Mixed Berry, Sweet Nothings, Claremont IPA, Pepper and Peaches, Grapefruit IPA. I really liked the mixed berry and would order a glass of that. I also liked the pepper and peaches, which I wasn't expecting to be so good. I'd also order a glass of that too. The other beers were okay but both my husband and I didn't like Claremont IPA. We thought it was the worse one and wouldn't get that one again. There are dog bone treats at the register and also juice boxes are complementary (the employee at the register offered one to me since I didn't order a beer, lol). There is plenty of indoor seating (that is also dog friendly) and also plenty of outdoor (partial covering with umbrellas) seating as well. There was a food truck setting up around 1 pm but I believe you are welcomed to bring your own food here since this brewery does not serve beer. There is plenty of parking in the back and not as much in the front. This is definitely a great local brewery and I see ourselves coming back here with our little girl next time. read more

Located about 7 mins from Downtown Claremont, this brewery will provide some of the most popular beers here in SoCal. Jacaranda is one of there best IPAs. One of my favorites is Pepper and Peaches. A lot do their beers are very hoppy. But have a lot of variety from reds, stouts and ales. Open seating and with a decent outdoor seating as well. I got a sampler and a pint. Sampler for some reason, some do the beers were a bit warm. My beer from my pint was perfect. They are located in the same parking lot as Ironbark Ciderworks. My wife was not interested in any of the beers so she and her friend decided to walk to Ironbark. She got what she likes and the boys got their beers. Would be awesome to see a collaboration with Claremont Craft and Ironbark in the future. Possibly closing the parking lot that splits the 2 companies and have maybe some weekend collaboration. Come here if you ACTUALLY like beer. Known for their award winning Irish Red, and The peach peppercorn IPA, CCA is a brewery unlike any other. You won't strong ales, they got you, light and crisp, they got you. Hoppy to barrel age they will have you coming back to try them all. Food vendors are always there when I go so that's covered. I finally made my way to Claremont Craft Ales and boy did I quickly realize what I had been missing. I love a refreshing IPA and this spot has plenty of them.We didn't realize they had flights of six and started with a pint. Then we almost didn't make it to a flight because of the poor food truck service from District Burger. Thankfully we stayed and were able to try a good amount of their beers between two flights. I could list the ones we tried, but honestly. you would be making a good choice with any of them. They have something for everyone, with such a large selection. The spot itself wasn't too busy for a Saturday afternoon. Might have had something to do with the heat, but there was a fan in their indoor seating that made the heat bearable. I loved how dog friendly they are, as they have dog bones for the fur friends and even sell portable dog bowls. Definitely would recommend trying out this spot if you're in the area. If you see District Burger is the food truck, save yourself some money & happiness by picking up a pizza beforehand. read more

It's incredible to see how much this brewery has evolved from its smaller space and limited beer selection to this great space and extensive beer menu. Two handicap friendly genderless bathrooms available across the bar. They don't have the best parking situation as I had to circle around on a Thursday 6pm until someone left their spot in order to park. Finding the place was tricky, I thought google map was wrong when I drove to the back of what looks like a commercial office center building, then it starts looking like some back alley for loading unloading cargos... until I saw some string lights. They have a good selection of beers, and most of their staff is friendly and welcoming, like anywhere you go in Claremont you have your hyper political kooks interspersed amongst the staff and the patrons so you always run the risk of hearing some weirdo espousing about some rules/regulations you're not following or complaining about mundane sh-- that normal people wouldn't care about. When Brian was the head brewer they were elite, they're still good, but whether it's just my personal preference or style change, it's not quite in my top breweries, as far as beers go, in the area like it used to be. The brewery itself is clean, their welcoming to animals and if you're one of those people that enjoys bringing a baby and children with you while you drink the door here is always open. They have an eclectic group of food vendors that come in which is always a plus, the good thing about it being "Claremont" is you rarely have to deal w/ "dude bros" or other unsavory/aggressive people so it's a good place to have drinks w/ friends or a date. I recommend checking them out, I'd lean 3 3/4 stars but you know how Yelp is, not my "go to," but never disappointing. read more

Lady was so rude!!! She corrected me twice because I didn't pronounce a beer right. Then got pissy and carded my friend that came in with out her purse just to be a snot! We are in our 40's she was just being rude. She didn't card anyone in the place. We have supported this place for a long time and buy their canned beers over anything at our local stores but I won't be anymore. Kindness is free I'll pay for over priced beer elsewhere. read more

Cool craft brewery, the service was decent - I was standing a one side of the bar and no one paid attention to me and then went around the other side where the line was even though I'd just seen people served on my side, and then I got skipped in the line!! There isn't many prices advertised only for full pints, I have no idea if they do flights as it wasn't listed anywhere. I was able to get a half pint though. I liked their merch too but again no prices listed. My beer was good, I had the blonde with pomegranate. They had a good selection of beer for everyone to drink. Not sure if they had only cider or wine for non-beer drinkers as signage wasn't very good.
