Rescue Brewery is located in Downtown Upland! You can easily park in front of them or utilize the free parking lot in the back of them. As an avid beer drinker, Rescue Brewery is one of my go-to breweries in the area. It is always clean, has friendly staff, and has great brews and food! Before sitting down, you're supposed to order your beers with the nice beertenders at the front. I usually get the Haze Against The Machine. They also have a good menu and a happy hour! I had ordered their garlic fries and their poke nachos. The beertenders gives you a number, then you can display it at the table of your choice. The atmosphere inside is nice' they have cute string lights placed all around. They're also usually playing modern music or country. It does get a bit loud in there dependent on how many people are inside. Their garlic fries are very crispy and have garlic pieces sprinkled on top. The sauce it comes with is addicting. My favorite is definitely their poke nachos! It has an abundant amount of tuna sprinkled over it with jalapeños, pickled onions, pickled radishes, and their delicious sauce. Their wonton chips are very crunchy, too! I washed it down with my IPA that was super hazy and crisp. I've been here a few times, but forget to check in/do a review. I didn't forget this time! I recently just planned my husband's birthday party at the Axe Lair in Upland, and I was looking for a place to eat and drink close by and found Rescue Brewery directly across the street! We had about 26 people, and I was so concerned that I wouldn't be able to find a place that could seat us all on a Saturday evening. I emailed with Alex, the taproom manager, a little less than 2 weeks before the date I wanted, and she told me that they would be able to accommodate us! I was so incredibly relieved! After our axe throwing, we walked the VERY short walk across the street, and Alex and her staff had our tables ready to go for everyone! They made our huge group feel so welcomed and taken care of from the moment we got there! Alex explained to us that the food and drinks are ordered at the registers, which made it so easy and convenient for everyone to not have to worry about doing separate checks for a big group (that can get confusing and messy sometimes). The beers, seltzers, and food were all incredible!!! Even the most particular people in our group raved about how good everything was, and trust me when I say, that is a high compliment! The staff were absolutely incredible as well! They were so knowledgeable about the beers, so patient with our big group, and were just so helpful and kind! After a night out in Upland, we decided to look for a brewery nearby and stumbled upon Rescue Brewing Company. I must say, the brewery really stands out with their bright and appealing logo out front. When we went in, the place was packed, but we were able to find a table for the four of us. To our surprise, they didn't just have a huge beer selection--they also offered a large variety of seltzers and cocktails for anyone who wasn't in the mood for beer. I decided to try the Tart of War, and my taste buds were in for a pleasant surprise. This sour beer had delicious notes of strawberry, pineapple, coconut, and vanilla. The brewery had a lot of TVs, which was perfect because I was able to catch the Lakers game that night. The bartenders were super friendly and worked efficiently, even with such a large crowd. The 90's alternative rock playing in the background had all of us nodding along. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu. Rescue is one of my favorite places! I've somewhat become a regular here. Their seltzers are delicious and the food is yummy! I love the pina colada and raspberry colada seltzers. Smack dab in the heart of old town Upland. there are three breweries all walking distance here. their selection of brews is interesting. They are not afraid to think outside the box. for a refreshing semisweet concoction I enjoyed the Tart of war a sour with Strawbs; pineapple, coconut, vanilla. the udder stout wasn't bad but had a hint of coffee which i don't like but still drinkable for me. the mango tango foxtrot was also really good mango and passionfruit. they have 4 IPA and two Hazies: much to choose from you will find something you like. read more

Honestly, this review is long over due. This used to be our GO TO brewery when we lived in the area, and there are plenty to choose from. But I MUST say that their coconut cream IPA is the standard by which all other IPAs are compared. I've traveled the globe. West coast to East coast USA, north to south USA, as well as Spain, Italy, Greece, England... well you get it... so far, I've only found a handful that compared to the taste, smoothness and ABU of this delicious beverage. Visited: 12/30/25 around 9pm First time here and ordered one drink. The service and drink were good. However, there was no announcement of last call. Without any verbal notice, the lights were turned on around 9:30 pm, the slush machine was already empty, and the taps were being shut down. A guest at another table attempted to order a drink and was turned away. Staff then began the full cleaning process, including stacking chairs against the walls, while guests were still trying to enjoy their drinks. While the drink itself was good, shutting down service and cleaning without announcing last call and while guests are still present is poor practice and negatively impacts the experience. read more

I love this brewery. I have been coming here for years. The selection is great. The beer is tasty. The food is top notch especially poké nachos. The staff is very friendly. The only reason I give it 4 is because I didn't know dogs weren't allowed. Mostly every brewery allows pups. Tonight I went in holding my miniature dachshund (wiener dog) and before I could make it 10 steps in I had a staff member run up to me to tell me dogs weren't allowed so I turned around and walked out. She was very polite about it but it still sucked because I was just going in to pick up some beer. She told me it's because they have a kitchen but I'm just curious about the rules. Since the establishment NEVER responded when I emailed them multiple times I am posting my letter. Good afternoon, my name is Elisha, and I wanted to share my experience from this past Saturday at your establishment. I want to provide some personal context so you can better understand the situation. I have been a teacher for over 20 years and have been nominated three times by former students for my district's Teacher of the Year award. I know how to interact with children and pride myself on having a great rapport with them. I am also the mother of two daughters, and when taking them out in public, I've always made it a priority to be respectful to other patrons. As babies, if they cried, I would take them outside to avoid disturbing others, and when they used iPads, they always wore headphones. When I arrived at your brewery on Saturday, I appreciated your posted sign reminding guests that children must remain seated because "it's not a playground." My husband and I were enjoying a beer when a family of four sat behind us. The parents went to place their order, leaving their two young boys alone. Their phones were blaring loudly right behind my ear, and they were not seated. I waited a few minutes, expecting a parent to return, but when none did, I turned to the boys and politely said, "Hey buddy, can you please turn the volume down a bit?" and thanked them. A short while later, the mother returned and aggressively confronted me. She told me not to speak to her children and that if it was too loud, I should have moved. She then said, "Clearly you don't have kids," to which I responded that I do, and mine would have had headphones on. Minutes later, one of her children was moving from chair to chair, and she yelled at me to move my seat. I hadn't moved at all, nor was I blocking him, so I told her that. She then went to speak to a staff member wearing glasses, who reacted with visible disapproval toward me and then informed another staff member (described as heavier set), who came over to me. This staff member approached me aggressively, asking, "Is there a problem???" I explained the situation, but she dismissed my concern, saying, "Parents parent differently," and ignored the brewery's stated policy on children, which is posted on every table. Later, when my husband ordered food, this same staff member chose to speak to him instead of me. After he explained the situation, she told him, "Oh, I can see her doing that--don't worry about it." I found it frustrating and inappropriate that she was willing to discuss it with my husband but not directly with me. I understand there are always multiple sides to any story, but the way this situation was handled was unprofessional and contradictory to your own posted policy regarding children in the establishment. I hope you take this feedback seriously, as it reflects directly on the customer experience and the atmosphere your business promotes. Recently went to Rescue Brewery for lunch with my wife and son for lunch. Showed up a little early and a woman sitting at the bar told us they weren't open yet. It was a nice day so we walked around a little and returned. The place was empty... we sat at a table and waited for someone to give us a menu or explain the ordering process. After about 10 minutes a local walked in, the woman behind the bar immediately poured him a beer and continued to treat us like we were invisible. Dropped my kids at Hanger 18 to climb and first went to Rad Coffee, but the line was out the door and there was no seating inside and it was 90 degrees outside. So, my plan switched from coffee to beer. I looked on Yelp and saw Rescue close by so I thought I'd give it a try. I recognized the logo from seeing people wear their tee shirts around town, so I thought to myself, it must be decent. First impression as I opened the doors was great. Note, walking the streets close by was a little rough. A heroin addict stumbled past me asking if I had any. She was in bad shape. The town is older and there's a bit of old town charm but it's also a bit in disrepair in areas and the city could certainly do a better job bringing it to life. As I continued in, I realized it was an order at the bar kind of place. Nothing bad about that, but it's always a point deductor for me if I don't see a great reason for it. Since you can order food and there's lots of tables, it would be nice to have a seat and order. That's their choice and I get it. But, the tables are too close to the small bar lineup area where you order, so you get stuck waiting between tables where people are sitting and trying to enjoy their drinks and meals. Just slightly awkward. The menu of beers was intriguing and I saw a few that immediately looked appealing to me. I tested the Red but it had a slight off flavor, so I just asked for their standard Ale. I ordered a large pretzel too as I was just hanging while my kids climbed. I sat down and within minutes the pretzel came. It looked pretty good. Wasn't so sure about the wilty lettuce but the pretzel itself was solid. It was nice and hot, soft, and fairly tasty. It was a little bland and needed more salt. The cheese sauce was a nice addition and so was the mustard sauce. The Ale surprised me and was actually my favorite part of the visit. I looked forward to coming again and trying more of their beers. Not sure if they offer a tasting flight but if so I'd try various beers to see what I like from their lineup. The staff was friendly and fast and the atmosphere was clean and refreshing considering my walk outside wasn't as nice. Only two TVs above the bar so I wouldn't say it's a great place to watch sports but I would enjoy hanging with friends and/or doing a trivia night here, if they do that sort of thing. I really wanted to love this place after hearing great things about it. Unfortunately going on a Friday night was not the best time to go since it was busy but we found seating right away. Tried the watermelon seltzer and other beers and it was good but nothing outstanding. We ordered food and waited about 40 minutes and still no food coming out. Waited another 10 minutes and still nothing. Ended up leaving going elsewhere. Hopefully next time the kitchen will be on point. I wanted to try more of the beer but it was so busy and made it difficult to try I felt rushed and did not receive the best of the customer service. Understandable that it was a busy Friday night.
