In Wildwood for the first time in ages and came straight here for some beautifully made zeppoles by a family that's even sweeter! They were fried fresh and topped with plenty of powdered sugar. Had to sit and let them cool for a little, so I simply enjoyed the sea breeze while listening to the regulars chat. Service was great! Ice cream was creamy and yummy. Facility was clean and relaxing. If you are on the beach, it's a quick walk for a cold treat! I was craving an ice cream and we were at the opposite end of the boardwalk so I went somewhere else. What a mistake, they were rude and I waited 20 minutes until I demanded my money back. Not the Hershey store!!! Owners were so kind and I waited only 2 minutes. (And it doesn't hurt that the owner is easy on the eyes - lol). But seriously, you won't be disappointed!!! read more

This is a great spot to get ice cream on a summer day at the Wildwood boardwalk. If you are staying at the Wildwood Crest side, it can make for a great reward for walking the boardwalk! The service here is very quick and has a good flavor selection. I had the a scoop of the apple pie and a scoop of blueberry - both are great flavors. We went to this ice cream shop at around 9:00pm on a Friday night. There were only two families waiting in front of us. It was expensive, but good. We spent about $45 for the four of us--two sundaes, a crepe, and an ice cream cone. But the Cinnabon crepe and the fried Oreo sundae were both excellent!! The brownie sundae was just OK. The mint flavored soft serve tastes like toothpaste--too fake of a flavor. But because of the great variety and easy location, four stars! read more

There's a reason why this place is absolutely mobbed every night when we are walking on the boardwalk. I'm talking a legit line that cuts right through the tram car path. Do people care? No - because this place is worth waiting in line for, and possibly get hit by the tram car. We decided to beat the rush, and came here as an afternoon snack. We were drooling over all the possibilities until this teenage kid behind the counter let us know that the blank labeled items are actually their signature sundaes. You had me at "caramel apple", in which the description had apple pie filling - this basic fall b!tch fell pretty hard. We sat down at the tables they had on the boardwalk, and when we were served our sundae, the kid kept apologizing for how much extra caramel he added. I'm sooooo upset sweety....I'll show you how upset I am by eating this whole thing with the hubby. Fast forward 10 minutes later, we were licking the spoon. Was it pricey? Convenient place to stop for ice cream and smoothies. On a hot morning, we stopped here while walking down the Wildwood boardwalk. Smoothies are okay, I liked how they offered dairy-free options. The ice cream was typical. They offer a variety of flavors. The shop is small so it can quickly become crowded. If the lines continues outside the shop, be mindful of the tram car. Hershey's Ice Cream is one of my favorite ice cream brands- it might actually be my #1 choice. This shop is located right at the beginning of the south end of the boardwalk (side closest to Wildwood Crest.) They have a decent selection of some of Hershey's best flavors such as Moose Tracks and Cappuccino Crunch. Would have been a 5 star review expect for the fact that the customer service was terrible the night I went! We had about 5 different girls handling our order at once and there was sooo much confusion, I told them 5 times that we were paying together and they still ended up charging me separately. Pay attention guys! That won't stop me from coming back though cause it's delicious :) read more

The flavors and choices of ice cream is amazing. They have a wide variety of soft serve flavors and hard ice cream. I personally love the uniqueness of the flavors like espresso soft serve or banana cream pie hard ice cream. I am obsessed with their tye dye waffle cones that they make in house... During my three day stay at Wildwood, I paid three visits to Hershey's. The first time, in my pursuit of a dairy free treat, I found that they are able to make their smoothies without ice cream, and also have a section of smoothies labeled "green smoothies" that are made with almond milk. I ordered the strawberry colada smoothie without ice cream, and it was superb. We visited the next day for crepes- my friends got the Westside or the Usual, and I got a strawberry banana nutella crepe. I also got the peanut butter cup smoothie, and my friend got the frozen iced coffee- both very tasty! On our last visit we just stopped for fries as a snack and they had a ton of flavor. Two ice cream shops side-by-side. What a dilemma. Did we want the usual Blizzard from DQ next door? How to decide... hmmm. I approached the Hershey's counter and asked a young lady why we should have ice cream at Hershey's rather than DQ. I expected a typical teenager answer. Gabriella, at the tender age of 17, said, "Because here we have real ice cream, and it's great. There they have dairy 'product.'" She didn't say it with any ill will; it wasn't ugly or rude. Just matter-of-fact. I asked her later if she gets that question a lot. She said no -- but that they talk about it a lot. She was ready for the question and believed in her product -- a high school kid who works there in the summer. I was amazed. As soon as she answered with such conviction--with a "real" answer--I knew we would eat there. She wowed me. In fact, we learned she also works as a server at another restaurant, and we went to that place for breakfast another day and asked to be seated at her table. hershey's has everything and anything you could possible want! from crepes to green smoothies to funnel cakes and fried oreos, there's not much they don't have. the ice cream selection here is insane!! (cappuccino crunch and strawberry shortcake are the best) but besides all the delicious food and sweets, the owners are some of the kindest people i've ever talked to. the staff is extremely friendly, patient, and polite. hershey's is by far my favorite place to go for any dessert in wildwood. read more
