I pull in to see of if I could add air to my tire. Joe Noon a customer service representative walks up as I'm trying to add a the air and says "no no it's no, I got that sir!". He proceeded to check the air in all four and add the required air. I've taken my car to this dealership multiple times and each time Joe Noon has impressed me even remembering my name. On two occasions he could have charged me for a full hour of the mechanic's time to repair and did not. Moral here is when you find a man you trust in the car business you stay with him. I hope someone at the dealer sees this comment page on-line here and prints it out and posts it on wall where many others can see my note of gratitude for a person who has a passion to exceed expectations. Trusted mechanic's notes

Hertrich serviced my 2019 Suburban in July 2023 after my trusted local mechanic said it needed a new transmission. (Had to bring it back to the Hertrich dealer due to warranty.) Hertrich said the transmission was fine & returned the car. Seven weeks later, the car is still not acting right. I bring it back to Hertrich only to find out it has "major issues" & needs a new transmission. The service shop manager never returned my husband's calls. It took 17 days to diagnose the transmission and fix it. And I'm stuck paying diagnostic fees AGAIN - for the same problem. Absolutely absurd.

The dent the dealership told us to repair ourselves.

They were ready for our oil change appointment on time and got us out quickly and pleasantly. Who needs more than that in service?

I had some SEE YOUR DEALER alerts come up on my 10-year-old Prius. Car was driving fine with no…read moreissues. I googled the alerts and it said that if I take the positive battery terminal off for a few minutes then put it back on they might go away. I called my regular mechanic about this and he said he was busy, I should go see the dealer. So I drove to this dealer and stopped outside of the repair bay, turned off my car and popped the hood. I noticed that a bolt holding the positive battery terminal was loose and went to tighten it. A man who worked there came up to me and asked what I was doing -- I told him, also said was having a hard time taking off the terminal because the bolt was in a difficult spot to reach and I didn't have the right wrench. He told me even if I did what I was going to do the alert would probably come back on so I really should have them look at it. So I went in and they told me it was going to cost $203 to diagnose it (with tax). They drove me home and 5 hours later I found out the alerts came on because the battery terminal bolt was loose. Everyone was really nice but I really can't afford to spend $203 on something I kind of diagnosed and could have fixed myself. I guess in this economy everyone needs to make a buck

Summary - Sales team = good experience, aftersales process = terrible experience; damage occurred…read moreto the car at the dealership lot, registration + title still not received after 3 months and terrible/heavily delayed communication response I recommend to AVOID purchasing a car at any Hertrich dealership if you want a smooth aftersales process based on my experience with them. Additionally, they don't take care of any damage occurred to the vehicle while in their possession so be ready to take care of any issues yourself. This is a mixed review because, on one hand, I had a good experience with the Sales team specifically with Sean Spillane, Skylar, and Sean Raspberry. On the other hand, this has been a terrible experience with the aftersales process in trying to obtain a resolve for damage that occurred while the car was still at the dealership, registration and title transfer. The sales process was great. Sean & Skylar was very accommodating through the sales process as I was an out of state buyer. I had lots of questions and needed time to make the travel to MD from CA to see the car in-person. The car checked out initially: very clean for a 2005 with ~80K miles, my inspection and PPI identified oil leaks from 3 issues, and the car ran very well in comparison to other Miata's I've driven. I purchased a PPI, as I always do for preowned cars, but the dealership was not willing to fix any of the issues which had numerous oil leaks. The others were fair based on the age of the car. I then bought this Miata (NB2) on January 14th. The car was kept at the dealership for 1-2 weeks while transport was being setup to pickup the car. During this time, there was a major snowstorm on the East Coast. 1) When transport arrived a couple weeks later, I noticed multiple damage on the passenger right side of the car (shown in photos). It looked like someone swiped the side of the car (possibly when a driver moved the car around at the lot they swiped it somewhere). Now, what was a very clean car for it's age is now damaged where bodywork is needed. The worse areas are the mud flap and part of the quarter panel where the paint is chipped off to the primer. The other areas seem like it is surface damage but still requires bodywork. When I brought this up to the dealership, the General Manager stated that they will not be offering a fix for the repair. A partial fix was not even offered. After they received my full payment for the car, it seems that's all they care about and any issues after sales doesn't matter. 2) For the past few months, I've been trying to obtain my registration and title for the car. As I fully paid off the car including paying a couple thousand in taxes for the registration transfer, they're supposed to complete the documentation and provide the registration and title on a timely manner. It is now 3 months later, and I still don't have both. I completed their requests for additional information for the registration. However, their communication has been absolutely terrible in this whole aftersales process. Particularly, the miscommunication between the accounting department and sales team is causing heavy delays for a proper move forward. From their response about the damage to the progress on the transfer, I'm having to constantly call and email them multiple times a week only to obtain that progress is still outstanding. Again, I bought the car on January 14th, and it is now April 21st, but I still don't have the registration and title.

We wanted to trade our year-old, immaculate SUV for their larger one. Two times, we made offers on their vehicle and were eagerly waiting to hear back from the salesperson regarding those offers. Unfortunately, the salesperson did not get back to us and we had to reach out to get a response. We have not heard back yet with our latest offer and it has been a few days. It's disappointing and the lack of professionalism is unfortunate. Our vehicle is like-new and they could make a nice profit by selling it on their lot. The right deal would be a win-win for both parties. Even if they were not interested in our offer, a phone call, email, or text to express this sentiment would have been the right thing to do.
