Had a good experience buying a used care this past week. The process was easy and they were responsive without being pushy.

When I called another VW dealership, they just wanted to get me to pay $255 for a diagnostic before listening to my situation.

Why on gods green earth did we put my tire and spin it on the FACE OF MY BRAND NEW GLOSS BLACK WHEEL Scratching it to kingdom come. (Thank you so much to the lazy tech who didn't want to walked over to the actual work area and not the FACE OF MY WHEEL. Then about another hour later the tech hands my key and tells me I'm all good to go. One of the service advisors hands me my paper work and sends me on my way. YES they did not charge me anything after being frustrated as I was actively late to work.... I walk out to my "ready to go" vehicle just to hear the tire hissing from the "plug" in my tire from the OPPOSITE side of the vehicle. And when I walk back inside the service advisor tells me he is not sure why it is and that he didn't hear what it sounded like be before.... There was no noise before. We walk outside to show him it's pouring air out from the brand new plug; then he thought that was the perfect time to say that I was gonna end up needing a new tire. (Nobody even hinted at this) My paper work from them says "tech found nail recommended plug-in tire" Then after I leave the facility- I find out on my own that my wheel weights had been removed from the wheel and none put back on. Thank you so much pep boys. If I could give zero stars I would. It's appalling how little care the techs had.

I was sad to see the reviews we had a truly great experience thanks to our certified product…read morespecialist Ciarra G! She went above and beyond to make us comfortable. She was real and very transparent with us no gimmicks her manager Kenny I believe was also great ! Their new financial manager seemed to be a bit confused about the process of paying for the car this isn't our first rodeo and everything seemed forced and rushed. I did inquire if the car needed new brakes or anything they said no but a week later the brakes are screaming a bit. But they weren't wrong at the time of their check the brakes were fine !

BUYER BEWARE! I am…read moresharing this so other Maryland buyers know what my experience was before deciding whether to purchase a used vehicle from Bayside Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Annapolis. I had just been stationed in Maryland and needed a car within my first week. This was my first vehicle purchase, and I relied on online research and the dealership's mostly positive ratings. In April 2026, I bought a used 2021 Toyota Camry SE from Bayside with approximately 95,000 miles. By late July, about three months and roughly 2,000 miles later, the check-engine light and several safety-system warnings appeared, and the car developed a rough startup. When I contacted Bayside, they offered to diagnose it at no charge. However, they repeatedly asked whether I had purchased an extended warranty and told me that because I had not, they most likely would not assist with the repair costs and that I should expect to pay out of pocket. After that response, I was not comfortable relying on Bayside as my only source of diagnosis, so I took the vehicle to Koons Toyota Annapolis. Koons documented a cylinder 2 misfire and told me that pressure testing and a borescope showed coolant entering cylinder 2. The initial option was more than $6,000 in major head-gasket work, with the possibility of additional costs if more internal damage was discovered. I ultimately paid $6,964.92 out of pocket for a used replacement engine and picked up the vehicle on August 7. I had also discovered a damaged and worn-through area in the driver's-side floor covering that had not been pointed out to me before the sale. When I raised it, the general manager suggested that a larger previous occupant may have caused it with their foot...like what? I understand that Bayside's written 30-day/1,000-mile warranty had expired and that I did not purchase an optional extended service contract. I am not claiming that the dealership knew about the engine condition or intentionally concealed it because I cannot prove that. What I can say is that I drove the car roughly 2,000 miles and then had to pay nearly $7,000 to replace the engine. When I contacted the selling dealership, its response centered on the absence of an extended warranty, and I received no offer of financial assistance, cost sharing, goodwill contribution, or another meaningful resolution. It is now September, and I am also experiencing possible transmission-related symptoms. That has not yet been conclusively diagnosed, so I am not calling it a confirmed transmission failure. This has been a financial and logistical nightmare. In my opinion, the dealership's post-sale response was completely inadequate for a failure of this size appearing so soon after the sale. I do NOT recommend this dealership based on my experience.
