So I declined it but before I asked for $20 discount on Elantra as it's just not close to Subaru Legacy and the dude inside declined my offer where as if I rent the Elantra I could get it for 103$ by default they would lose only $3 and they did not consider the time I have wasted in his counter. I wasted my beautiful 30 mins early in the morning risking the office hour. They are just crap, they try to take your money with not matching car. Solid rates and when I called to extend it one more day, it wasn't so bad fee wise. I'd definitely rent here again. Since it's one dude, just hope there won't be multiple people renting at the same time or there will be a back up. It's the 'burbs, so the chances of that are slim to none.

Uber was 50% more. Lyft was about 20% less, but wouldn't allow for a pre-scheduled ride from EWR. I was not comfortable with a chance that there would be no one available for my 11:30pm pick-up. Al texted me the day before my travel day to confirm. I called him when I arrived. He told me where to meet the car/driver, in 5 minutes. 4 minutes later, the car pulled up. It was clean and comfortable. The driver was extremely pleasant. He allowed me to decide what music to listen to. It was a quiet ride out to the country. I would not hesitate to use Bernardsville Taxi & Limo again, and strongly recommend them.

The driver came flying down my street, doing about 45 (in a 25 zone) and screeched to a stop in front of my house. When I got in, I asked (quite nicely) if he could drive carefully as I was in pain. The driver immediately began yelling and cursing at me, saying "Your f*cking pain isn't my problem! Do you want me to stop here? You can get out and call a f*cking ambulance!" I kept my cool, but a few minutes later, while doing 65 down Route 202 (which is a 40 zone), he began texting. I asked (again, very politely) if he could please wait until we arrived at the destination before texting while driving. The driver totally flipped out and started screaming and cursing again. I didn't respond, instead I just closed my eyes and prayed, because at that point we were on 287 and he was doing 92 MPH; I was afraid for my life. When we arrived at the hospital, I paid him, sans tip, and he was FURIOUS. So much so that his screaming and cursing brought the security guard from the hospital outside to see what the problem was. The minute the driver spotted the officer, he took off like a bat out of hell. Of course, I called the Bernardsville Taxi & Limo office to complain. The response I received was completely unsympathetic and the woman I spoke to behaved as though this wasn't a very big deal. What a disgusting way to do business.
