At least twice I asked how much I was swiping for. He wouldn't tell me. Finally he asked me to sign for a total of $462. He told me the increase came from insurance, toll access, and 2 more days for renting. I asked for my original deal which he did provide, but then he asked me for my car insurance. Of course I was uncomfortable providing that, and decided to leave, and I'm glad I did, because now a pending charge of more than $462 is on my credit card. Almost double that. I advise people renting here to be on their A game when going in and to not back down. Or of course, you can go to some honest salespeople or half decent location.

I had to rent a car through no fault of my own through Ford because they had an issue with my truck. Ford paid for the rental. Ford and this Hertz have a contract which allows the person renting the car to leave the car with Ford for convienence, which is nice. However, what they don't tell you at Hertz is that if they are short staffed and have nobody to pick up the car the day you drop it off at Ford they charge you the customer a daily charge until they pick it up and put it back in their system. This is bad business. I spoke to the manager there named, Jamal Harris, and he basically tried to rush me out like they didn't do anything wrong. Customers shouldn't have to pay for their shortcomings. If I hadn't had the money I would have overdrafted and then I would have to pay my bank because they can't keep a staff of drivers at a car rental place. Ridiculous. If you don't want a headache, please don't rent from this location. Terrible.

I visited this Enterprise location to pick up a rental vehicle that had been arranged through my…read moreinsurance after my personal vehicle was damaged in an accident. Instead, I was left without transportation. I presented my Florida Temporary Driving Permit, which was issued by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles while I await my permanent driver's license. The staff informed me they could not rent to me because the document says "permit" instead of "license." The matter was escalated to Area Manager Shane, who upheld the decision and advised that Enterprise could not rent to me. The document I presented clearly identifies my Driver License Number, License Class: E, issue date, expiration date, and that it was issued by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, Division of Motorist Services. I also offered to provide my U.S. passport as additional government-issued identification. What I found most disappointing was that there appeared to be no effort to evaluate the document as a whole or exercise the discretion described in Enterprise's published policy. Instead, the decision appeared to be based solely on the word "permit," despite the document clearly identifying my Driver License Number, License Class: E, issue date, expiration date, and that it was issued by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, Division of Motorist Services. Ironically, the document was rejected because it uses the word "permit," even though it is the very credential issued by the State of Florida that permits me to legally operate a motor vehicle while awaiting my permanent driver's license. Enterprise's published policy states that temporary driver's licenses may be refused if the location is unable to verify the customer's identity or the authenticity of the temporary license. I was willing to provide additional government-issued identification, including my U.S. passport, yet there did not appear to be any attempt to verify my identity or evaluate the credential beyond its title. As someone already dealing with the aftermath of an accident, this experience added unnecessary stress and left me without the insurance replacement transportation I was expecting. I hope Enterprise provides additional training regarding Florida's temporary driver's credentials and ensures its published policy is applied consistently so that future customers receive a thoughtful review of their documentation rather than an automatic denial based on a single word.

Horrible service!!!! I selected this drop off because it was closest to our new home. I was told…read morethey have 24 hr drop off. We went to drop off the truck Friday night at 6:30 and the gates were locked. A worker was inside. We asked him if he could open the gate. He stated he didn't have a key and that we could park the truck right outside the gate and bring the keys Monday. We went to drop off the keys and Omar was checking us in. I told him we needed to get fuel. He went out and looked at the fuel and he told me he was charging my credit card $450!!! I told him I only had cash due to the equifax breach. He gave the keys to the truck to one of the workers who took off in it before we were given the opportunity to take it to fill it. He proceeded to call me a fraud and a scam artist as well as a stupid bitch while he was calling Penske. He lied to them and told them that we weren't told to leave the truck there and that he was on the phone with the employee the entire time and he wasn't!! He continued to call me names and I walked out. I called Penske and they told me I could go to a different location to pay for fuel and that the employee would be written up. Now I have to go back to Penske a THIRD time and pay for gas at a further away location. What a joke!!! Next time we will use U-Haul!!!!
