The deposit is refunded when you return the vehicle. They are quick about refunding it to you. My complaint is that it doesn't mention anything about the deposit when you book online. I just happened to have a question about my insurance, so I called and talked to an employee. She was super helpful and informed me of the deposit requirement. I was glad that she told me because it would have been incredibly frustrating to get there and have that sprung on me. They really need to put that information on the website so that folks can be informed and prepared. I always book online, and I know that many others do as well.

Usually, Budget is not a purveyor of upper eschelon rental experiences however I was blown away at the selection at Eppley. 2021 BMW X6s, X5s, X3s, brand new Dodge Ram 2500 Limiteds, Expeditions with all the options, even their Camry's seemed to be a good mix of SE, as well as higher trim XSE and XLE, 4Runner TRD Off Roads instead of the typical lower end SR5 on rental lots. I chose a 2021 BMW X3 M40i. I could not believe they had this car. It was an enjoyable drive, very well equipped, and surpassed my needs for a escape from my sentence in Omaha, Nebraska. While it was not unlimited miles their mileage charge was reasonable and included 100 miles per day with the rental fee. I inquired as to why their selection was so great, Budget Nebraska simply uses the booking system of Budget for their rental business and it is not under the corporate umbrella, or so I was told. I have rented from a similar situation in Wyoming (that I would never recommend) but the group in Nebraska completely blew my socks off. The cars were all new with higher trim levels/option packages than I'm used to at rental companies, the service was acceptable, and the price was reasonable. I'd recommend renting from Budget at Eppley Field in Omaha, Nebraska if you ever end up there.

I was introduced to him by word of mouth marketing; a co-worker of my wife's mentioned him to my wife when her vehicle wouldn't run after she arrived to work. We called Larry and he came over with a jump pack, got the vehicle going, said it was the alternator and he could have it ready in two hours. Almost to the minute, two hours later I got a call, car was ready and the price was his very reasonable estimate. The dealership was taken over by new management. They wanted to go with more "industry-standard" pricing and upselling. Larry was not a fan and resigned rather than follow the pressure to pad bills with pre-determined hours for a service, or trying to push additional repairs that may not be needed immediately. Within a month, the dealer had to close the service department, and was towing repairs to a second facility. Within a year, the dealership closed down. Larry opened Honest Auto Repair. He is pretty much a "one man" operation, and he keeps his estimates fair for parts and labor (my brakes were squeaking last November when the first snow fell, and I asked him to check them out. He said he brushed the rust off them, so the squeaking stopped, and quoted me a price to repair them, but said I could probably wait until spring for the work. There was no charge for brushing the rust off. I got through the winter just fine, and in May the brake light on the dash board came on. I took the car back to Larry, and he did the work, for his quoted estimate from November.) He handles the maintenance that he is equipped to do, will make recommendations for anything he isn't prepared to do, and his warranty is his personal commitment to "make it right" if your repair doesn't hold up. We had a conversation about the condition of the car because it had a cracked front end on the bumper. Upon return I was informed by the manager trainee that there were other cracks on the bumper and I would be responsible. After a lengthy discussion with the manager, they finally let it go when they were able to verify with the original inspector that the issue was pre-existing ,but it sure did leave a sour taste in my mouth, given that the exception had been identified prior to my departure. My only recommendation about this location is if you rent make sure you have everything is documented and you're clear on any exceptions to avoid problems when you return it.
