My car needed some maintenance and I decided to rent a vehicle, instead of Ubering home. Great decision and probably cheaper! Hertz was fast and Lauren helped me and she's a nice lady that provided great service! I have rented vehicles on vacation probably a dozen times in the past 12 months. The Nissan I received at this facility was far superior to any other car I have rented. It was clean, there were no broken components and it only had 7,700 miles. We had to get a rental due to a car accident. Returned the vehicle to the location before the rental allowance ended. Well, they lied and said the car was returned 5 days after and a 173 dollar charge. Check your accounts if you aren't supposed to be charged, I had to hold 45 minutes to get to customer service to get a refund. Hopefully that will actually happen. Absolutely the WORST car rental location! It's ran by people who don't care about their customers. I booked a vehicle weeks in advance. I show up and didn't have what I booked. After a few minutes, I get a text message stating that there are no cars available for the day and there is a 800 number where I can call, when I call the number there is no option for me to select regarding non availability of cars and there is no way I can speak to a representative. worst customer service ever. read more

This is an awful location. We booked and paid for a car 1 week in advance on the website. I spent money on a Uber over to them and they said they had no cars. I received 3 email and 2 text confirmations throughout the week from Hertz guaranteeing a car. Now I have to Uber back home and spend money with someone else at last minute rates. The worst rental situation I have ever encountered. The appointment was set to pick up a car with that by my insurance agency. They called to confirm it. When I got there there was no car available that was clean and suited my needs. I was told to choose a car out of two choices. The car was filthy inside and out. It smelled like smoke in the inside. The clerk gave me $6 to take it through a car wash. I called the headquarters and put in a complaint. They said they would sound me a $50 gift certificate to use in the future. Took a reservation via Priceline and didn't have the car there. It was short notice, COVID, and whatever other typical out you can add but all it took was a phone call to say they didn't have it when they got the reservation. They offered me another more expensive option of course. $20 difference. Why couldn't I have that one at the same rate to make me happy and a return customer? Now I won't go back to Hertz at all. Hertz amazes me. I came in and got a vehicle, and when I drove it the next day, I realized it was too small to be driving the 80 miles round trip each day while my vehicle was in the shop. I called and they had no other vehicles that day, which is no problem. I drove it another 2 days and then called and they had a van available, GREAT! I get there swap out the cars, no worries. When I get in the van, the air pressure warning light was on. It had been cold that morning so I figured no problem, just a climate issue. Came out the next morning to a completely flat tire. When I called hertz, they told me that they can send out someone to repair the tire.......for $75. Well considering this is their vehicle and not mine, that didn't work for me. If your vehicle has a flat tire and leaves your customer stranded, especially when you knew it was running low on air when you gave me the car, why should I have to pay for your foolishness? I pumped the tire up with air and returned to this location, who of course tells me, they don't have any cars. It's a wonder how these guys are still in business with stuff like this happening. read more

Super helpful!! The car we got in Miami was having problems with the transmission. Christine at this location was a life saver. She was courteous and friendly on the phone and in person. We got to their location faster than expected and she personally tidied up a car for us and we were able to get back on the road. I had called two other Hertz locations first and they were no help at all. The one hour drive to this location was definitely worth it!! read more

We a received a vehicle (Kia Rio) white. This vehicle was dirty inside and out. Some scuff marks. Britt was our agent. No walk around on the vehicle. Picked up my car in Florida at 7:30 , then sat around until 9:45 am so they could clean and fuel car. Dropped off in Cumming Ga and they not open until 9am , looked at my bill and they charged for the extra hour . That did not go over well . I made a rental car reservation 2 months in advance with an agent. On the day I went to pick up my car, THE LOCATION WAS CLOSED. Not "sorry, we had to cut hours because of COVID", but never open for pickup on my selected day. REALLY?!? Why on earth would they allow me to create a reservation on a day they weren't open?! It was a huge waste of time and a huge inconvenience. Save yourself some time and use another company. read more

Had to wait for a car to be cleaned even though it was reserved ahead of time. Was then provided a car with the low tire pressure light on. Put air in the tire which then turned into a flat tire overnight. Was told by Hertz that it was my problem because I didn't pay extra for their roadside coverage. Used AAA to have the tire taken care of but was still charged for Hertz's roadside service, even though it was not used. I was told when the car was returned I would have to contact Hertz about the roadside problems because it wasn't their problem. The agent eventually removed the $75+ fee we were were fraudulently charged by Hertz, but could/would do nothing else about providing a car with tire issues and I was told to call Hertz. I got home called Hertz and waited 20 minutes for a "customer service" representative who didn't speak understandable English, "Havakay" told me she was unable to transfer me to a US agent, but could call back and wait on hold and hope I could talk to someone I could understand. I recommend anyone considering renting from Hertz. read more

Very unfriendly customer service staff.....they were pretty rude to me and uncaring. The car selection is very bleak with not many features and the car that I was given had lot of miles on it. Luckily there an Avis that has opened just around the corner. Customer Service is way better...thank goodness. They have brand new Ford Fusions that they rented out to me. Excellent!! I have been a critic of this location (for good reason) but my most recent rental was excellent. The management had their act together and there were no issues with the car or its return. There seems to be a new attitude and I am hopeful they keep that mindset. Chris was especially helpful and while they were busy he provided me with excellent personal service. The employee did not walk over/around the vehicle with me before handing me the keys; he told me he'd already walked around the vehicle, taken the photos, and that I would be receiving an email with said photos. I didn't have to sign anything, either. I asked that he and I walk around the vehicle so we could agree on any existing damage; he seemed somewhat annoyed, but did it anyway. This is when I signed for the vehicle. I still haven't received any photos of the vehicle. Additionally, the oil sticker in the top left corner of the windshield still says 10/17 (I rented the vehicle in mid-February 2018), and the mileage was 11k (approaching 12); the mileage on the vehicle itself was 31k. The vehicle warned me that the oil needed to be changed soon. I had a lot--A LOT--of driving to do, and was concerned about oil-related issues. I was assured by Hertz Emergency Road Assistance (or whatever they're called) that I'd be fine. I was fine, but the fact remains: the oil sticker wasn't maintained, and I was concerned about the oil situation in the vehicle. Was my trip to visit with family and friends ruined because of this? No, it wasn't, but I paid for a service and expected conveniences that weren't delivered on. I'm considering calling Corporate to ask for some refund for the improper service and lack of maintenance; updates will come, if needed. read more

I had to call 3 times to have the driver meet me because they requested a reminder call. There was only 1 car available to rent in the lowest price range. (One other was available but it had a strong odor of cigarette smoke!) I got a Ford Focus and it was dirty on the outside and inside. read more
