The car was a new VW Touareg and it was perfect, even though I reserved a small-size SUV. There was no up-charge for the class upgrade. Nice! I returned the car the same night after-hours and used the key drop box located near the entrance. In the morning, I received a receipt of return and the fee was charged to my card. That was easy! Unfortunately for me, I did leave my sunglasses in the car and had to return the next day to pick them up. The staff was very accommodating and had set them aside for me to grab when I came back. Great overall experience and I'd gladly rent here again.

Unfortunately, my experience with Branch Manager Benjamin was extremely disappointing. When I attempted to rent a vehicle, I was told that I could not use my debit card because I live more than 50 miles from the branch. However, my understanding of Enterprise's corporate rental policy is that customers who live more than 50 miles from a branch may still rent with a debit card as long as they possess a valid driver's license from the same state in which the branch is located. I meet that requirement, as I have a valid Pennsylvania driver's license and was renting from a Pennsylvania location. During our conversation, Benjamin stated that this branch has its own rules and does not follow Enterprise's corporate-issued policies. That statement was both surprising and concerning. As this is a corporate Enterprise location, I would expect all employees and managers to consistently follow company policies rather than create branch-specific rules that conflict with corporate guidelines. Over the past eight years, I have rented from numerous Enterprise locations throughout Pennsylvania using my Pennsylvania driver's license and debit card without ever encountering this issue. Because I was denied a rental today based on what I believe was an incorrect interpretation of company policy, I missed several important appointments and experienced significant inconvenience. Benjamin also stated that he had consulted with a higher-ranking manager before denying my rental. If that is the case, I would appreciate clarification on the official Enterprise policy regarding debit card rentals for customers who reside more than 50 miles from the branch but hold a valid driver's license from the same state. If the policy has changed, I would appreciate being directed to the updated policy. If not, I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed to ensure corporate policies are being applied consistently across all Enterprise locations. As a long-time customer, I value the service Enterprise has provided over the years. I hope this complaint is taken seriously so that future customers do not experience the same frustration and inconvenience that I did today.

She said "corporate should have called". But nobody called!!! When she got to work that day and saw they have no trucks, why didn't she call?! I asked her if she could locate one for us at a different location, but she said "no, you need to call them yourself". So I was on hold with their 1-800 number for 20 minutes, and they finally came on the line and did me a "favor" by not charging me a cancellation fee!!! Preposterous! Thank God for U-Haul down the street who came through for us at the last minute and were amazing! U-Haul now gained a customer for life and Budget lost one!

After booking 2 weeks in advance and confirming a…read moreday before drop off, Enterprise forgot to pick me up from the body shop which delayed my work day. The 2nd repair drop off went even worse. I tried to confirm multiple times with Enterprise but they never answer the phone and again didn't show. Once they came 1 hour later, Ben exp he's the manager and sorry for the same issue happening twice. He said don't worry about replacing the gas for my inconvenience. once I started driving I realized the gas was empty, car was dirty, and Ben never gave me the key fob. I drove to another Enterprise but they had no cars available. I waited for Ben. Before I could express my true frustrations, Ben starts yelling in the parking lot "okay, I F***ed up." Along with other unprofessional /unpleasant phrases. This ordeal lasted a total of 2 hours. Now I still have a dirty rental car and a disgust for Enterprise. So unprofessional on so many levels. I can't wait to call corporate.
