I went to the counter for pickup and I was told there is not any cars available and I will have to wait till 5pm for a car. How is it possible for me to reserve online for a specific time and receive an email confirmation? Well the manager, Cameron Carter said that he had cars on the lot but they are being held for people who made reservations in advance. So the fact that I had an email confirmation meant nothing to him and I was dismissed as such and treated as irrelevant "because there systems do not communicate". Do NOT rent a car through this location, you will end up very distressed and stranded like my family and I.

I prepaid for a rental on 06/11/24 and had to cancel due to a family emergency on 06/18/24. After receiving my cancellation confirmation, I called AVIS customer service to inquire about when I would receive my refund. Was told 48 hours. When 48 hours came and went, I called AVIS customer service and inquired about my refund due to me. Was told 3-5 business days. 5 business days go by and no refund. Call for the THIRD time now (on a Thursday) and told I would receive my refund the following Tuesday. Tuesday (07/02/24) rolls around and no refund. Call again to find out what is going on and was told THERE IS NO RECORD OF MY REFUND DUE. So, I request an escalation and they have to send it to the refund department? Wow. Demanded I get a call back from a manager/supervisor and was told that call would be anywhere from 24-48 hours. Really? Takes that long to review after 4 calls and confirmations of my cancellation? WORST RENTAL CAR COMPANY EVER. Do not use this company! Horrible customer service, keeping records, etc. If you do not want to get screwed or taken advantage of, NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!

He only had a TORE UP Compact Ford Focus with stained seats, smelled horrible and it wouldn't accelerate in a timely manner. It dragged. It was a piece of trash. My family that saw the car were shocked. Several times the car almost stalled out on me. I am disabled with a very bad back and I had a hard time getting in and out of the car. Yet, I was charged for the Standard price. Beware!

I told them that I appreciated how easy they made it for me and that I would write a positive review for them then. I never got around to it and therefore forgot to do it. I try to be a person of my word, so I am doing it now. I had a different driver back then and a different cab, but the driver seemed to be a very nice, friendly, decent young man. I regret not leaving the positive review then, but feel better now that I have. These people truly deserve it. I don't think that anyone would regret using their service. Only the opposite.
