From the moment I spoke to 1 staff member I felt someone was really trying to help and it only got better once I was there. I could go on and on.. but you get the idea. After walking in, no one bothered to greet us or acknowledge anyone was in the store. After about 15 minutes of watching employees walk by we were finally helped. It was a speedy process. But the car was filthy, there was even children's toys left in the vehicle. And it smelled like smoke. They claimed they didn't have any more cars and I had no choice but to take it. I really think they believed they cleaned the car. I purchased Lysol wipes and after wiping down the steering wheel and door handles the wipes were black......yuk! This staff needs to be trained extensively on customer service and cleaning.

They don't have many cars at this location but it is very convenient to me because I can access Metro North before or after renting. Both cars were clean and full of gas and paperwork was processed quickly. The Budget (and Avis) counter is on the same level as the Metro ticket counters, just across the way past the bus area.

For starters they tended to me IMMEDIATELY, Luis wasted no time saying hello, getting my name and license and directly me to the customer waiting room. I came here for an insurance rental and when he came over to me he came with two sets of keys and asked which vehicle I preferred most. I selected a Chevy over the Ford and was told if I was dissatisfied to please come back in and change the car. We did our walk around, I signed my digital contract and before you know it I was on my way! If I was here for 5 mins, that was a lot, which was way more pleasant than the 2 hours I sat at the other location with NO HELP in the HEAT! However, when I brought the car in on Friday, the manager on duty stated that they do not offer pickup service and was very rude in how this was communicated. I requested a receipt confirming that I had dropped off the keys, but I was told I would not receive one until the vehicle was picked up. I provided my email address and requested that a receipt be sent to me, but the manager appeared to ignore me and did not appear to even document the email. I have still not received anything. At this point, I am unsure whether the return was properly logged into the system for the correct date. I expected a higher level of professionalism and customer service from Enterprise. I will also be reporting this matter to corporate.

The interior had clearly not been cleaned, and to make matters worse, there was bird droppings on the exterior, right near the rear passenger door. I was embarrassed when my mother entered the back seat and saw the mess. When I raised the issue with the counter representative, he admitted that they don't have access to a car wash at the rental site as if that justified the condition of the vehicle. That's no excuse. There are plenty of portable car cleaning services and nearby car washes they could easily use. Their response showed a complete lack of care and zero accountability. If you absolutely must rent from them, inspect the car thoroughly before driving off. If it's dirty and you end up having to clean it yourself, demand reimbursement for both the cleaning cost and your time. You're doing their job for them! Unacceptable standards and even worse customer service. Never again. I'm so disgusted by the lack of service I received and I'm trying to contact Avis corporate about this matter.
