Sadly the AC was not working( you do not wanna try a couch in hot temperatures), the computers loaded slowly. But I still happily signed my contract and went home feeling accomplished. Now I just had to wait for rent a center to send my management company proof that the movers have insurance(required by my management company). I was informed by the staff that the paper would be sent by rent a center to the management company directly. The day the couch was supposed to be delivered we learned that proof of insurance was never submitted to my management company and that we would have to go bring a copy of the form get it filled out and return it back to the management company. My husband returned to rent a center with a copy of the form and he was told that it takes about 30 min so rent a center would email it the same day to the management company so we stopped worrying. Today the couch was supposed to be delivered but the document was still not sent and now we learn that we have to go pick it up and drop it off because they don't a a way to send it. At this point I'm so flustered that rent a center is not treating me like a valued customer. I also began to think that God was trying to convince me to not get the couch. But I fought my hesitation and marched over convincing myself "nice things require work". I head to rent a center and that's when I'm greeted by the third strike; the manager on duty. This woman could not careless that I was a client of rent a center, I base this on her eagerness, her disregard for small talk, and her lack of empathy. I believe that this manager could have been more verbal about the mistakes done on behalf of rent a center. The finally strike was her behavior she asked for a copy of my ID. We had not been informed that we needed it and I know they have a copy on file from the day of the purchase. I told her in a negative tone, "I did not bring my ID and you guys have it on file" her response was something like we need a copy but I'll just have to look for it. From this moment forward I want damage, but I walk away knowing nothing good would come from me entertaining this jerk. Like come on really!!! You gonna ask for more from me when you could have easily saved me all these trips by taking a picture and emailing the copy to my management company.

We sat in a parking lot from 6pm to 3am. After more than 29 phone calls and two tèxts from two different tow companies they finally showed up with an exchanged vechicle. We missed our friend's wedding the reason for flying to NY. It cost us a prepaid night in our hotel iñ White Plains. Budget offered us a 50 dollar rebate. This was such an insult. Did not know their customer service rating was only a one out of five until we experienced this fiasco. Im so fustrated and upset by Budget lack of customer service response. There's so many other lack of good customer service incidents that I could share but I dont think it would make a difference. Budget will be out of business if this type of service is practiced throughout the corporation.

The symptoms were so obvious that my wife even diagnosed it after quickly looking that it was a bad alternator. After these shade tree mechanics did their inspection, the said that it was 100% a transmission failure. And that to replace would be $4500 in parts and labor. Of course we had our suspicions, so we had it towed from there to our local mechanic in Rockland County. Turns out it was just the alternator after all. $550 for a new alternator with labor included. These guys are either the most stupid, incompetent mechanics on earth or shameless crooks who take advantage of people they think don't know any better. So either way I hope I can pay them back with a warning to you all. To mechanics have a obligation to be fair, honest and ethical. I truly hope I hurt their business. What the did was despicable. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! My daughter is a single mom with a disability. That 4500 vs 550 repair bill was the difference between her giving the car back to the bank vs being able to afford to keep it.

I dropped it off just hoping for a quick inspection. He was very busy which actually made me feel good about the place. He was nice enough to let me leave it and he got to it within a couple of hours. He showed me that the back brake pads needed to be replaced instead of just telling me. It was explained to me in detail what was happening and why with the brakes. In my opinion this a very honest and stand up place of business. I wish I lived closer because I would make this my new go to mechanic.

It was 9pm, dark and the car was un-drivable. I called AAA to tow me to a AAA recommended garage. After over 4 hours of waiting, AAA told me they had no driver available to tow me, and that I should call a private towing company. It was after 1am and I was quite nervous. I called Power Lift Automotive and the dispatcher, Rob, answered the phone. He was very reassuring and said that Justin, his driver, would be there within 45 minutes - and he was. I was still nervous because I had to pay cash and leave my car with Justin whilst I got a cab home. But both Rob and Justin reassured me that Justin would take photos of the AAA service station and of my keys being dropped into their drop box - and I received many photos and a texted receipt. Today I called to get a proper receipt to present to AAA for reimbursement and spoke to Andy the owner. What a pleasure to deal with such a pleasant, reliable and competent team of people who put their customers needs and well-being first. I highly recommend Power Lift Towing if you ever need to get towed!
