I highly recommend Hexagon, and am pleased with the quick and thorough work that Leo and his team did. I reached out to Hexagon, as I received a note from my insurance on 12/16/24, saying that my home insurance policy was not going to be renewed due to the condition of our roof. Two days later, Leo stopped by and did a complete inspection of the roof, as well as the attic. He provided a detailed report with plenty of photos later that day. While he concluded that the roof was in good condition and structurally sound, he did make some recommendations (power washing to remove dry lichen, patch up areas of granular loss, and cut open a couple of valleys to allow for improved water drainage). Even though the roof was in much better shape than what the insurance company was assuming, I wanted to play it safe, as it would be difficult to shop for another company that would insure us in the fire-risk area that we are in. Thus, I agreed to have Leo's team came over that weekend to work on those improvements. They finished the job in a few hours, and Leo provided an updated report the following Monday 12/23/24. Report was submitted to the insurance company later that week, and they eventually rescinded the non-renewal decision. In short, I would not hesitate to reach out to Hexagon again for any future roofing needs, and thank Leo and his team for the amazing work they did. read more

The roof of my house was leaking rain water in four places. The old A/C unit on the roof didn't work and was part of the problem. My home owner's insurance company told me I had a couple of months to replace my whole roof and it must be done by a licensed contractor or they were going to cancel my policey. I really needed to find an honest roofing contractor that could replace my entire roof, do a great job and not charge me too much money. After reading many reviews I decided to hire Hexagon Roofing to replace my old roof, rain gutters and air conditioner/heating systems on my house. Abraham and Jonathan were very helpful making sure my wife picked the correct style and color she was happy with for the clay tiles going on the roof. Once the work began the Hexagon crew showed up on time every day and worked all day. They replaced all the old rotton wood on my roof with brand new wood. They also removed the old A/C unit off the roof and the new A/C unit was installed on the ground. The roofers installed new clay tiles on my roof and it looks beatiful! The technician's installed new rain gutter systems with metal screens to keep the gutters maintence free, I love it! The Hexagon technician's removed the old HVAC system from my house and replaced it with a powerful new central heating and air conditioning system. Very thorough inspection and assessment. Tom spent almost an hour on my roof looking for anything that could be causing leakage. He came down with a ton of photos and recommendations including which are immediate concerns all the way to not urgent but should consider. The roof of my family's home had been leaking during rainy weather for many years. A couple years back, we had a repairman come and patch up the underlayment, but it did nothing. This winter, as the rainy season was coming back, we finally had our roof fixed, deciding to go with Hexagon Roofing after a lot of searching. What I appreciate the most about the project manager from Hexagon, Jared Millen, was how transparent he was with us throughout the entire process. When he was giving us a quote, Jared was able to provide clear answers on what the problem was and how they would fix it, providing videos to give us a glimpse into the process. During the project, he would often let us know what step his team was on and show us videos of the repairs up close. Although the project did take longer than what was promised (5 days compared to the 2-3 day estimate) and there was some leftover debris that had to be picked up the next week (they finished on a Friday), the results were very satisfactory. The project was a tile reset: all tiles from a large section of the roof would be removed and the underlayment would be replaced with high quality WestLake Royal underlayment that is far superior to the black felt paper found in most homes. The team also installed all new metal flashings in the surrounding area as well as larger v-channels to direct more rainwater off the roof. Despite our tiles being very old, Hexagon was still able to match our tiles (to replace ones broken in the process) so closely that we weren't able to tell where any of them were. And of course, the roof doesn't leak anymore, even in an atmospheric river! Hexagon, Jared, and his team have given us very great service. We hired Hexagon Roofing in 2022 to replace the roofs for 14 large buildings comprised of 98 condos/townhomes for our Homeowners Association in Tustin, CA. We interviewed six different roofing companies and decided to hire Hexagon Roofing. Then, we got a ton of rain over the course of ten days which exposed a bad roof leak that caused minor interior damage. I used Yelp to contact a few different roofers. Hexagon was great. i just needed the flashing around vents and pipes and other places like that to be re-sealed as the seal material was getting old and cracked and i would get small leaks dripping down through the space between the flashing and pipe. A small job, so I was very impressed with Hexagon and their service. Ido met with us to discuss the roofing repair we needed following leakage we observed during the heavy rains last year. He was detail oriented, patient, and thorough, taking the time to understand exactly what we were experiencing and inspecting our roof in detail both via drone photos and with detailed direct inspection of key areas of concern.
