Came back for round 2, and ended up accidentally coming on the first day of Bud LongJing Latte Bogo buy 1 get 1. The wait was long, it took a total of 1 hour waiting to order and for the drinks. Bud LongJing Latte: 11/10 This was the best matcha I've tasted. I wish I ordered 2 more of just this drink because til this day I'm still thinking about it, so I'm sad that it's seasonal. Super creamy, and smooth with strong quality roasted green tea flavor. It tasted like the green tea was infused with the milk, not too sweet and very fragrant. Coconut Mango Boom: 9/10 This drink was also very good, it had fresh sweet mango that combined well with the creamy, light coconut milk and the mini tapioca. Very nostalgic for me since this drink is also a common cantonese dessert. Strawberry Mulberry Green Tea: 8/10 This drink was good but it kind of tasted like the yumberry I had last time. We went during their opening weeks...waited just over an hour to get our order. This was when they had their buy one get one free promotion. Would I wait another hour for their drinks? NO. The milk tea with boba was one of the best I've ever had...perfectly made with just the right amount of sweetness, good warm boba and I can actually taste the milk tea part! Usually the drinks are so sweet I don't taste the tea. The 2 other fruity drinks were got were not good...the purple ones. However, I do give them credit as you taste real fruit pieces inside. It's a takeout store with computer self order screens or order via app. There's a screen with orders ready for pickup. No in person ordering which is great for some but for someone who is new, it would be nice to have someone there to answer questions. That's why it's 4 stars. WOW! A new boba place on Harvard Ave. I came during their grand opening weekend on Saturday night. I waited around 35 minutes in line for their bogo deal. We preordered on a small menu when we got inside. I ordered the supreme brown sugar milk tea and the mango grapefruit boom. The place smells amazing and my friend wants her house to smell like this. It's a floraly, tea scent. The order process was quick and efficient and I waited another 15 minutes outside for our drink order. The bobo is super soft and the milk tea was great. One of the better boba/milk tea spots in Boston! A "go to" place if you're in Harvard Avenue! The Coconut Mango Boom was surprisingly great! I got it 50% sweetness. The drink was very light on the sweetness but packed with flavors. I could clearly taste the mango jelly/mix and the coconut milk. Mango might not be in season now, I think the drink would exponentially taste better during the summer. I also tried the Brown sugar bobo milk tea and it was amazing. The tapioca balls were warm and soft indicating that they were made fresh! It's is very small shop. Due to its popularity right now, it is very packed and wait time could last around 20+ mins during the evenings. I am worried about the sanitation as the place is overcrowded with customers. We went to the opening for the Buy 1, Get 1 free on teas, and it was so delicious. It was busy outside. We waited around 20 minutes in the line, but it only took 5 minutes for our drinks to be done. Since it was the grand opening, they let people inside to order and you wait for your drinks outside. The interior was clean. The matcha drinks were superb. Staff was accommodating and pleasant. I was so excited to try this place! We ordered the coconut mango boom, and the grapefruit boom: The grapefruit boom was actually pretty good! Nice and refreshing and had a nice tea flavor. The coconut boom was just a mango coconut smoothie with sago in it. I ordered it with the least amount of sweetness and it just tasted like mango blended with sugar - not really a coconut flavor. The wait was also extremely long: 20 mins to wait at 4 pm on a Sunday. I think I'd come back to try something else, but I was really disappointed by the coconut mango drink! I've been here about three times. The first time was for their grand opening, and I waited three hours. The quality is the same as the locations in Singapore and Hong Kong. But the third time I went, I got a bit of a stomach ache. I'm not sure if it was because the milk was out too long and the drink was a little melted, but it's still really good overall. I had HeyTea in Irvine and was excited that HeyTea was going to be in Boston! I love mango pomelo sago, so I got the coconut mango boom. It was yummy, and I drank it super fast. Would recommend this drink. Their mango is so refreshing! I know it's been super packed here, so I thought I'd order ahead. I ordered ahead (Monday around 12:15) and then waited an hour for my drink in the store. A friend came and ordered in the store and got it within 20 minutes. So pro tip: order in the store if you can. They will prioritize those waiting in store. Royaltea is known for their cheese foam teas, but I prefer their fresh fruit tea offerings. I also like their freshly brewed traditional teas. I'm glad there's a Royaltea on Harvard Ave because the menus at Gong cha, Kungfu tea, and Tiger Sugar nearby don't offer fresh fruit teas with real fruit or high quality traditional teas like roasted oolong or alpine jasmine. It's the 6th or 7th boba shop around Harvard Ave, but I have a feeling they will be busy on weekends and evenings too. read more

Royal Tea's got to be one of my favorite boba places ever. We ordered lychee dragon fruit tea with lychee jelly and jasmine milk tea with boba. The lychee dragon fruit tea even though at 30% sweetness is still very sweet. The jasmine milk tea with boba was the perfect balance of milk and tea, boba was perfect, chewy and soft. I don't tend to venture out to try other drinks but I might have to here next time. Only thing to note is that they don't have any seating, just order and go. Too little watermelon was added in the cheese watermelon that it tasted too watery. The cheese foam of cheese mango was too salty and dense. The mango pomelo is definitely a different product from what I had before, too sweet (I even ordered no sugar), too little mango, I wasn't able to continue drinking it after I've had 1/3.
