Been coming to Heytea quite a few times now in the last month. Normal go to orders are: jasmine green tea with boba mango grapefruit boom Drinks overall, quality and consistency here are better than the Cupertino location. Staff is more efficient for sure. Annoying to order with the kiosk...but if able, you can order through the app as well. During promos, you need to order with staff directly, but if you don't want the promo, you can order on the kiosk directly. Limited seating inside. Parking lot is absolutely atrocious in the area.
This place is clearly popular, so expect longer wait times and limited seating, especially during busy hours. Ordering ahead for pickup is probably the best way to go if you're in a hurry. That said, the boba here is absolutely worth it. The drinks are flavorful, refreshing, and consistently good. The ambience is also incredibly cute and inviting, with a fun vibe that makes the place feel lively and trendy. Even with the crowds, it's still a spot I'd happily come back to for another drink.
I had a much better experience this time. I ordered online and got my drink after shopping at Trader Joe for about 15 minutes. The store is nice and clean. Service was fine this time with no BOGO free offer lol, so it wasn't crowded. My friend and I sat outside and enjoyed our drink. A perfect sunny day to sip my pistachio coconut jasmine tea drink before headed back to work. I was able to come get a drink and pick up lunch all within one hour to make it back to work for a meeting. Happy customer.
Visiting from out of town and first time trying Heytea. Got Supreme Brown Sugar Bobo Milk and Mango Grapefruit Boom. Everything was fresh and tasty!! The "bobo" (as opposed to "boba") was delicious! It was sooooooooo busy!! They were cranking so many drinks out! Looked like you could order ahead or at the kiosk. It was bright and lively in the place. Even the drink carrier is well thought out. A cool looking paper bag with a folded drink holder placed inside it so it doesn't fall over. Genius. There are tons of boba places everywhere. I don't know how they all survive, but this one definitely doesn't look like it's struggling. Would definitely come back!
Bright and flavorful drinks. The mango grapefruit boom is like a dessert in a cup, with sago and coconut milk jelly. Lots of ingredients. The fruits are delicious, especially the mango bits. Refreshing and creamy. Their cloud longjing milk tea is also really good, deep flavor in the milk tea and paired with a creamy matcha cloud. The flavors blended well together. For toppings, their boba is nice and chewy. The cheese foam is smooth and rich. The packaging is good as well, the bags hold the drinks very safely and are great for reusing. Whether you get milk tea or the fruit tea from here, I think they're both excellent choices. Some fruit teas run kinda sweet though, and some milk teas I find to be lighter in taste. (I wasn't a huge fan of the king jasmine or the grapefruit boom).
I have been to a few various HeyTeas and man I love their consistency across all their locations. This one is located in a sort of strip mall kind of feel, with parking being ample or tough. I ordered via the app and the wait was about 40 minutes (peak time) I have tried their other drinks before but my favorite had to be the Kale Boost Tea. Kale Boost Tea: This feels like I am eating a popsicle. I swear it's the grape fruit flavor that is giving that nostalgic flavor and the chia seeds add that nice texture for a drink. It was not overtly sweet and the amount of ice is fair for a drink. I can see the hype for this drink and I cannot stress a better tasting tea drink than this. And having kale makes it feel like I am making healthier choices. Overall, I can see myself coming back to HeyTea and ordering this drink from now on.
HeyTea makes the BEST mango coconut drink in my opinion. I didn't understand the hype until I tried that drink and it's all I ever want these days. Their flavor of their drinks are very consistent and it comes with a good amount of toppings every time. My husband likes matcha and he thinks their matcha drinks are pretty good as well. Lines are always long so I typically place an order through the app and by the time we get there, it's usually ready or just a few mins wait.
I got the triple Matcha latte, which is a Matcha latte a cheese foam on top and some Matcha toppings in it. I wish that the flavor of the matcha was a little bit stronger, since this was more of a sweet dessert drink than anything. Another problem that I had with ordering on their app was that you can't order ahead of time for a specific time. I ended up calling them and they said to order it and then put in the notes of your desired pick up time which I was a little concerned that that message wouldn't be reciprocated correctly, and it would be made immediately and sitting there. This could be adjusted improvement to their app and ordering system.
We've been on a mission to try hey tea after seeing the wild lines, wait and crazy high order numbers (70+ drinks in queue). Thankfully, we downloaded the app and got to order ahead plus get discounts. We ordered five drinks over two visits (figured this might be a one or two time try given it's out of the way and all the other things I mentioned previously). We tried the green grape, Cloud Crisp Grape, Matcha Cloud Coconut Blue, Supreme Matcha, Supreme Brown Sugar Bobo Milk Tea. I will say their bobo (boba) was five stars. It was warm and soft and fresh and great. I found all the drinks to be pretty sweet and rich. I felt a little bit limited by the menu and the toppings offer. I do appreciate the quality of their toppings but the tea drinks themselves were just ok and seem to be more of a dessert drink. We did mobile order and our drinks were ready when we arrived. The location was small, but very busy! It felt like I was in a bubble tea factory lol. Overall, I'm glad I experienced it, but I don't see myself going out of my way for heytea. I was in the area and it was a warm summer day and sugar and calories were not a consideration then I might try some of their fruity drinks.
Stopped by for the first time in awhile. Tried their new Jasmine Pistachio cloud matcha latte i think? I got it hot and it was delicious! The size is pretty big too. Wait wasnt too long and i like to sit on their bench in the busy ambiance. Love the plaza it's located in as it's right next to sweet greens and other spots like Trader Joes and Chipotle.
Came around lunch time and luckily this time the line isn't long. We got our drink pretty fast. Many people ordered the blue drink. We tried the Mango Coconut Blue and it's very good. The blue color doesn't taste like anything and it makes the drink looks cool. This place gets busy in the afternoon. Avoid the crowd and come early.

I am a huge fan of this place. There are many tea houses everywhere and almost every one of them are all the same. This one stick out to me because the feel and aesthetics are just different here. It's so clean and spotless here. It's bright, the walls are all shiny white, and the smell of tea leaves are in the air. They have your typical pearl teas, fruit teas, and matcha teas. We ordered their brown sugar pearl milk tea with this cheesy salt cloud. Our tea was hot, creamy, and full of richness. You can definitely taste the brown sugar in this. The cheesy foam is excellent and compliments the flavors. The black tea is premium, and you can taste it clearly. I also love the top lids on their drinks; it rotates left and right to open up for the straw or your mouth. The black pearls are thick and steaming hot which is delicious. I want to come back and try their mango-grapefruit tea; They informed me that this is their most popular drink. My wife and I are huge fans and will come back soon! read more
Second time coming here after their grand opening. I came 10 minutes before they opened on a Tuesday and was told I could order through the app in advance, but the app didn't allow me to order until 11am (opening time). Even though I ordered in the app at opening, I still waited 20 minutes for two drinks. Wondering if it would've been faster for me to just order in person instead since I was there. Cloud Matcha Latte - wow! The drink tasted divine. Smooth, not bitter, great matcha, and cheese foam perfection. I opted for minimal sweet and it was the perfect sweetness. The cloud (cheese foam) was super delicious and adds a nice touch of saltiness to the sweetness which I think elevated the drink even more as the flavors mixed. Bobo Milk Tea - The tea taste wasn't as strong as I prefer (I still think TP Tea is best), but their brown sugar boba is good. Minimal sweet with the brown sugar boba was the perfect amount of sweetness for me too. Boba is chewy and not too sweet. Heytea overall seems to serve high quality drinks but at higher price, so I may opt for boba elsewhere unless I go with friends. I'd get their matcha drink again! If you download their app, you'll get a 15% off coupon. You can also accumulate points/rewards for your purchases. I'd recommend ordering in advance on the app so you won't have to wait as long. Even on a weekday and ordering right at opening required waiting 20 minutes, hence I'm deducting one star. Hopefully, the wait time improves in the future. read more
Came on a Thursday 5pm. It was busy, but the line wasn't long and it was a short wait. Their app is finally working, so yay. Nice, clean interior. It's roomy enough to sit and catch up with friends. I ordered the grapefruit boom because I'm a sucker for slushies. I like that they use real fruits, so I could chew on the grapefruit pulp. The slushie consistency is smooth and light. I do wish they had small straws though so I could drink slower. There's a pick up area, but it's not meant for self pickup. I had to put my drink back while I dug through the app to show the order number (the worker held the drink close to her for protection after I put it back). Checking the number is understandable, but there is definitely room for improvement about how it was handled. Now my core memory of Heytea is "I got scolded there". I picked up my drink because my number was facing me and there were only one other drink ready for pick up. She didn't yell at me and wasn't mean, but I guess I'm a snowflake, so I felt like I was scolded. I've never felt like that when other places asked to see my receipts though. This boba shop has been one of the more popular spots as of late with lines stretching all the way out of the store. From what I've heard, HeyTea one of the most popular boba tea shops in China and they recently opened many shops in the Bay Area. My experience was good, but I would probably only go here if the line wasn't too long. Both of my drinks were good and had great tea flavor. If you like stronger tea flavor, you will like these drinks. I would say the boba flavor kind of overpowered the drink too much, but the texture was good. Prices are a bit on the higher side for the size you get here. read more
A Modern Boba Spot! Since there's a supermarket nearby, the parking lot was pretty crowded. Inside, the shop was lively with lots of people, and you could immediately smell the aroma of tea! This store has its own app, and if you download it, you get a 15% off welcome coupon. There's also a reward system, which is great for regular customers. Busy on a Saturday evening but line moves pretty quickly. Parking lot can be quite chaotic since it shares the same plaza with Trader Joe's. Store layout/line situation isn't that great, especially when crowded. People were squeezing past each other to get their drinks but had to walk between the narrow path between the line and the cashier. The people ordering at the cashier had to constantly move to let the people getting their drinks pass. I got the coconut mango boom and it was great! I'd rate this drink 5/5. It was refreshing, creamy, and I loved the sago. I tried some of the cloud matcha latte and I'd rate this one 4/5. The cream on top is very thick which I liked, but the latte itself needed more matcha flavor in my opinion. read more
Located in Sunnyvale, parking is plentiful but availability is quite limited. The interior is clean and super fragrant. It was quite busy. Due to the busyness of the store, it's highly recommended to order online. Coconut mango boom (5/5): so yummy. The texture was good. I was expecting it to be more slushy-like though. Nonetheless the coconut and mango mix was delicious. Sweetness and texture were good. Tap to pay is accepted. Overall, Heytea's drink are so yummy. HeyTea is Bay Area's latest and greatest tea shop with its opening met with significant fanfare and long lines. Although new(ish) to northern California, HeyTea is actually a well-established chain with multiple locations in New York, Los Angeles, and even around the globe in the UK, Australia, and Malaysia. HeyTea was first founded in 2012 born from the desire to revitalize tea culture with high-quality ingredients and unique flavors. With a slogan like "Drive Quality, Spark Joy", HeyTea definitely aims high to offer great tasting drinks that everyone can enjoy. As with all new and shiny tea shops, HeyTea opened to long lines of adoring fans wanting to take a sip of their creations. The interior of the store is very clean and very aesthetic, although there isn't a ton of seating inside so you're probably better off taking your drink to-go. I highly recommend ordering from their app and to pick-up in store to cut down on the long wait times (both for ordering and pick-up). We placed our order on their app, and had an estimated wait time of 23 minutes until pick-up - a little on the longer side, but still reasonable enough. In the store they have a screen up on the left hand side that displays the order numbers that are in progress and ready for pick-up. Once ready, all you need to do is go up to the counter, present them with your order number, and then you'll have your drink(s) in hand in no time at all. We went with their (1) crisp grape boom (which is easily my favorite drink of theirs now), (2) strawberry mulberry boom (a second favorite), (3) mango grapefruit boom (a good old classic), and (4) supreme brown sugar milk tea (something a little more familiar to the masses). The crisp grape boom is a showstopper - whenver I think of grape, my mind instantly goes to those sickly sweet yet bitter cold syrups of my childhood and the inner child in me still shivers at the thought of drinking those down. With that in mind, grape is not usually a flavor that I find myself partial to; however, this drink might just make me change my mind. Their crisp grape boom is refreshing, flavorful, and not too sweet! Imagine biting into a sweet bunch of grapes, and HeyTea has essentially captured that taste and feeling into a drink! The mango grapefruit boom is reminiscent of any good mango grapefruit sago drink, and an instant favorite of mine. The mulberry strawberry boom was very unique, and I will note that mulberry is probably an acquired taste - it's sweet and tart, with a slightly grassy taste (that took me a bit to get used to and enjoy). Last, but not least, the supreme brown sugar milk tea is a great choice for someone looking for a solid milk tea option amongst all the fruit offerings. If you're wondering if HeyTea is worth the excitement, then I'm happy to share that it is! Whether you plan to go in the next few weeks or the next few months (when hopefully the lines die down a bit), you'll always be in for a treat at HeyTea! read more
I've been seeing their in season Coconut Matcha Boba over social media and finally got to try it. I ordered through their app, and the drink was ready by the time I arrived. The store is near the entrance of the plaza and has some seatings with a minimalistic style. The drink has a pretty appearance and a nice balance between matcha and coconut flavor. The matcha foam and matcha layer are strong by themselves, but the coconut layer and jellies make the drink less heavy and less bitter as I mix them. The boba also has a chewy and soft texture. Overall, I liked the drink. read more

I was unsure about HeyTea at first since their prices are higher than most places and I'm not a big fan of slush. But this place had me really pleasantly surprised. The slushy fruit tea isn't too icy, and the sweetness was just perfect (I got less sugar). I love how you're hit with the floral tea aroma when you walk in. I'm also a big fan of green grape and really enjoyed the chunks of grape in the drink, they tasted crisp and fresh. It would have been nice to have my name called when my drink is ready, but they are so busy and have a screen that shows the numbers, so can't complain too much there. I've ordered fruit tea from a lot of places around the Bay and HeyTea's fruit teas are definitely in the top 5. read more
Drink 4.5/5 The drink is exactly like how it's pictured and advertised, grape slushie with cheese foam. Overall, the drink is well balanced and I would say on the sweeter side, so make sure to get minimal sweetness or less. Tbh, I think this is a drink you could make at home with some grapes and ice, the hint of tea is very subtle. Not your boba place if you're looking for strong tea flavors, but a good spot if you're looking for refreshing fruit drinks! Service 4.5/5 Went on a Monday lunch and ordered online and it was ready within 10 minutes. Pick-up was smooth and they'll scan your drink when you pick it up. Sometimes, online order is unavailable when it gets packed so I would suggest going at non-rush hours. Ambiance 4.5/5 The overall sit-down area looks clean and simple, which I appreciate. I also like the overall beige/gray/yellow color scheme that makes the store look minimal. Considering the crowd, it may be best to just pick up your drinks and enjoy it somewhere else. read more
Somewhat recently opened location of Heytea! Excited to see Heytea opening multiple locations across the bay! I will say the long lines and wait times have dropped a bit since their initial opening so now might not be a bad time to give it a try if you've been waiting! ~Ordering Process~ We ordered in-store. The line to order in the store was actually not very long! Most of the people in the store seemed to be waiting for their order, so I'm assuming a lot of them ordered ahead of time via their app. We'll probably do so in the future! They have a little TV screen at the back of their store that shows if your order # is "in-progress" or "ready for pickup". We waited about 10 minutes (maybe less time?) to order our drink and maybe another 15minutes to get our order on a Sunday early afternoon. ~Parking~ Parking can be a bit challenging at times during weekends with this location being in a popular mall with trader joes and such, but usually you should be able to find parking with little to no problem! ~Pricing~ Each drink is priced around $7-$8, which I think is pretty reasonable for a premium boba shop. ~The Drinks~ Mango Coconut Boom (customized Less Ice, Less Sweet): SO good. You can never go wrong mixing coconut and mango. This drink comes with sago and coconut jelly, so we didn't order any add-ons (like boba). This drink is not too sweet, refreshing, but also the creaminess that the coconut milk part adds is so good. Highly recommend! read more

I got a boba milk tea and a cheese cloud matcha. The boba has the perfect qq texture, goes so well with the aromatic milk tea . The cloud cheese matcha is just like its name, the creamy cheese pairs perfectly with the matcha I ordered online through the app, and pick up was easy and smooth. My drink was ready within 15 min of order. Interior is modern and clean, and it's a great spot to chill. read more
Went back here for a second time to get the bobo milk tea again. Not sure if it was made slightly differently or if I just remembered it to be different last time but it wasn't my favourite. I couldn't really taste the tea this time and it was very very heavy on the milk flavour. Boba was still cooked nicely and had a good chew. For now, I won't rate it any less because it is still a well crafted drink, but just a bit different than my taste preference. I like the milk tea at Moomo better. I'm still super excited to try their fruity drinks here though, they look promising ! read more
A fun side quest/pick me up to visit after you finish grocery shopping or after a meal! Right at the entrance, you can immediately smell all the tea leaves being freshly brewed! It's a pretty good aromatic smell. I came on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty packed. I feel like it would be better to visit on an off day if you want to avoid the rush. What I ordered: - Coconut Mango Boom: Pretty good, not too sweet. Lots of mango bits but not as icy as I was expecting it to be. - Mango Grapefruit Boom: Very similar to the coconut mango boom! Not much grapefruit in our drink but enough to have the drink more tangy. A fun souvenir is that you can get a free tote bag if you order two drinks and post on social media! read more

I was so excited to try this spot and I was not disappointed. They were quick and informative with their menu options. I tried their mango coconut bloom and it was super yum! It's very similar to Hui Lau Shan but I think it's not as sweet. I'll def be back and recommend this spot for those who are looking for a refreshing "healthy" boba spot. read more

I've been wanting to try this place because I've heard so many things about it. I got the Mulberry Bloom. I didn't know what to expect, but it reminded me more of a smoothie than a fruit tea. It wasn't terrible and I liked the chunks of mulberry, but I was hoping to get more a fruit tea flavor. That being said, it did taste very good. It was definitely on the pricier side for boba. This place reminds me of Omomo. read more

Shares the same plaza as Trader Joe's and halal guys so parking can be a bit hectic. I like to order via the app and the wait time is less than 5-10minutes. It is very accurate. If you like fruity drinks, you will enjoy HEYTEA. My favorite is the grape and mango drinks! read more
Another new boba place in Sunnyvale. Love it. Located in the Trader's Joes mall. The decor is minimalistic and clean. They really want you to order online with their QR code but I couldn't get it to work inside the store. No kiosk for ordering. You can order with one of the staff. Heard their mango coconut boom is their it drink so we got two - one with customization. It tastes like the hk mango dessert. It was refreshing and pretty delicious. Can be sweet - maybe order 50%? Although the mango coconut boom is good - I wouldn't really call it a drink. I would come back for something else. I am not a huge dessert person so I would prefer to get a drink. read more

First time here & am surprised with the very long line. They messed up my order but arguing will not make sense. Anyways, you will not taste any sweetness even with regular sweetness- which i prefer. Overall, it is good. They have few seats but need to you manage the traffic read more

I came here for their soft opening a while ago to try some of their drinks. It was my first time hearing of Heytea but apparently they're well known in China and they have a couple of locations opening around the bay. Looking at the menu, they mainly specialize in matcha, or blended fruit drinks. If you're into that, I'd highly recommend this place. The store was really clean and they seem to take pride in using real fresh ingredients and teas. My friend and I got Matcha drinks and grape blended drink and I thought it was pretty good but it can take a little longer since it's handmade/blended. Personally I prefer more variety of teas/milk teas (I love osmanthus oolong or other floral and unique teas) , so I'm hoping in the future they'll add more to their menu or else I'd probably go somewhere else more to my taste. Another note is that this is one of the busiest plazas in Sunnyvale so depending when you go, it may be a bit hard to find parking but not impossible read more

I waited 30 minutes and all of a sudden our number disappeared on the screen. I came to ask all the staffs and they all look at each other cluelessly. One staff says they ran out of tea and currently brewing it but they've been making online drinks for all other customers. Another staff says someone had already claim our drinks. Clearly these workers have no idea what they're doing and what's going on. Had to force them for a refund and they really tried to give us 2 free drinks like I'm coming back. Smh... read more

First time trying this place. All three drinks we tried was soo good. It was pretty busy when we came midday. They only use self-service kiosks. The ambiance inside is minimalistic, but enough chairs to accommodate customers inside and outside. read more

this place is AMAZING. actually such a pleasant surprise. i heard so much about it when it opened, so i thought it would just be another overhyped place, but im so happy that i was wrong. the quality of the drink was SO good that i didnt even mind if i didnt get toppings, which is usually a big part of what makes a good drink for me. cloud coconut blue: 10/10 - so refreshing and such a great combination of flavors. cloud crisp grape: 10/10 - my friend got this drink and i usually dont get fruity drinks but this one is top tier. so flavorful and the grape bits are my favorite part. the atmosphere of this place was nice to sit and talk with your friends. the drinks came out pretty fast, i went on a saturday in the afternoon and it wasn't that crowded! read more
i've been to heytea several times and have enjoyed the drinks and quality. they put an emphasis on higher quality ingredients which i like. heytea is on the expensive side compared to other nearby places, but they have some unique drinks. drinks ive tried: coconut mango boom: this drink is refreshing. i really like they use jasmine tea in it as it adds to the drink, makes it more than just a mango sango drink that a lot of places have. comes with a good amount of toppings. triple supreme matcha latte: this drink is more of a dessert, it tastes good as a beverage (the mochi is interesting, i liked the jelly) but if youre looking for a matcha latte it's not that strong on the matcha side. jasmine tea with cheese foam and boba: i liked the cheese foam here, it tasted light. my jasmine tea was a bit watered down though. bobo milk tea: i liked the black milk tea, the cheese foam makes this drink pretty heavy though. read more

wanted to try hey tea since it was trending everywhere on tiktok. the cafe is super modern and nice inside, not a lot of seating and tables though. the drink itself was average, but beware the drinks are really sweet, so i would recommend lowering the sugar level! read more
I met up with a friend here around lunch time on a Sunday and we agreed it was pretty hectic. We must've arrived during peak hours, as the parking lot was packed with several cars circling for parking spots. It's next to a Trader Joe's and a few other shops. I usually only come here when the wait isn't too bad. We both ordered variations of matcha drinks and enjoyed them overall. However, there were a lot of people waiting for their orders and it took a while before we were able to pick up our drinks. As time went on, the line just kept growing. I recommend coming before noon to beat the rush and secure a parking spot. There is also a limited number of seats, so keep that in mind if you plan to sit inside. I've also tried their Cloud Mango drink with regular sugar and it was sickeningly sweet. I'm not sure if I'd try it again with less sugar or just skip it altogether. That said, I really enjoy their matcha lattes. Additionally, I like that they offer dairy-free options and drinks with blue spirulina. read more

I love this boba shop. My favorite is their grape cloud. I love the refreshing and light tart/sour flavor you get and the creaminess from their cloud. Their coconut mango drink is also really yummy too. The line can be around 30 minutes but compared to when it first opened, it is faster now. read more
One of the company's newest location. Since it opened just a few days ago and they are offering BOGO (1st 3 days), BOGO50 (Days 4-7), the lines have been very long. Tip: Download their app and place your order online. That way, your wait will "just" be 50 mins or so. The only downside I see is that their menu is extremely limited compared to the locations in Daly City and San Jose. I expect the menu to "fill out" as they work through the soft opening kinks. Their Matcha Zen Latte is very good tasting, as well as the add-on Boba. The Coconut Mango Boom tastes like the Mango dessert one typically enjoys at a Chinese restaurant! read more
