One quirk with this location..I have an up-beat personality and generally expect to engage with someone when I enter any place of business. This is where I do not feel the connection and maybe it's just my experiences..I do not come during rush hours but for the life of me can never get a simple "hello" or "welcome." This location is nice in that it's big and has plenty of seating available for people to work or to hang out. When we got there, it was pretty full - lots of people with laptops getting work done. After ordering our drinks, we found a corner and sat down to wait for our drinks. Once they were ready, we continued hanging out and sipping on our drinks - both delicious and hit the spot. The quiet music playing was at a volume that we could carry on a conversation without having to raise our voices. And our seats were far enough away that it offered some privacy from everyone else. Good place to stay for a while after getting your drinks. 1 star off for the service - I haven't really had a bad experience here until this time. I had some drink vouchers that were gifted to me and I wanted to use them. I'm not sure if the worker was newer, or wasn't in a good mood, but when she found out I had the vouchers, her attitude got a little snippy. The tea is always consistently good and the cafe is nice to work at but plugs can't be challenging to get! The ambiance is calm. We were sitting here working for an hour and had to use the restroom and the employee let us know it was for customers only and I had to show our drink as proof. There's maybe a few reasons why they thought we weren't customers. We did a mobile order and the employees don't tend to stay in the front so they probably never even noticed when we picked up the drink as they just leave them on the counter unattended. I am writing this because I urge 7leaves and their management to be kinder! If someone needs to pee really quick, assume the best of people. I understand that they care for the bathroom and they get to choose who can or can not use it but even if we didn't get a drink and just really had to use the bathroom I would hope they would've had that kindness. Had the pleasure of trying this milk tea shop on a Friday night around 8 pm! It was moderately busy at first but as the night went on, it was packed. The cafe has a lots of parking since it's part of the Cupertino Square. It has great quiet vibes for people to work in, catch up with friends, or enjoy a drink on a warm summer night. This 7 Leaves is one of the newer locations so I've never been until recently since my bf moved nearby. This location is in Cupertino Village, a super busy plaza. Parking will be a little chaotic if you go on a weekend, but I love going to this plaza. Lots of good restaurants here, so 7 Leaves doesn't have to be your only stop. 7 Leaves itself has seating, wifi, a printer...a perfect hangout spot for people wanting to study and work. My go-to drink as of recent has been the Hulk, a not-so-secret menu item consisting of half house coffee and half mung bean. Super delicious! It's creamy, nutty, and sweet. I like to add sea cream to it too for that rich saltiness touch. I typically order from the app, but the thing with this location is since they're new, they might not have put all the secret items as an option on the app. I had to go in to order it in-person which was a little inconvenient, but it was early in the morning so I was the only one there. The drink came out super quick. I have also tried the sea cream jasmine tea at this location. One of the classic options. I tried it with boba and extra sea cream since we cashed in our rewards on the app for a free drink. Definitely just go with a regular amount of sea cream. It's too creamy and overrides the tea flavor otherwise. The boba is pretty decent. It's soft and chewy. Overall, if you need your morning caffeine, 7 Leaves is a great place to start off the day. If you're doing any all nighter, it's a great place to get caffeine late at night too. As for their drinks, my go-to is the Barney which isn't on their menu officially, but is a mix of their Mung Bean and Taro milk tea. I also enjoy all of their standard tea-milk teas (Jasmine, Assam, Oolong) because the tea taste is strong. Their EZ sweet option is still a tad too sweet to my liking, and there isn't another option to go even more less sweet. It's exceptionally quiet and there's a good amount of tables and a big communal table as well. They play lo-fi music, there's some greenery, and the ambiance is like a minimalistic cafe. To drink I got a Green Thai Tea with Soy Milk. You're able to customize your ice level and sweetness--I chose less for both. I still found my drink to be extremely sweet with less sugar. It tasted florally, light, and delicious--I'd order it again. My companion got the Mung Bean Milk Tea and enjoyed his drink. The sizes are deceiving as a regular has a lot of liquid to it! If you're looking for a place to work or study or a nice tea pick me up then I'd recommend 7 Leaves Cafe. The location is prime as it has a lot of seating, parking is free in the lot, and service is friendly with drinks coming out quickly. I order this with honey boba, sometimes with sea cream, sometimes without, depending on my preference that day. 10/10, for sure. Another good one is the Matcha Soy Latte. One of the best Matcha Lattes you could get from a boba shop. Always pair with honey boba. 9/10. I recently tried the Honey Latte. I don't normally get their coffee from here, but I needed a caffeine boost. It was pretty good. Very modern and clean store. It's very convenient Vince it's a few blocks away from work. Opening at 0700 is a little late for a coffee shop. I hope they can open slightly earlier since I have to be at work at 0700z. This store in one of the newer locations, hence very clean. Only thing I would like to see improvement on is that, when I asked for light ice, they still fill my cup with ice half full. Don't be so stingy they make a ton of money on a cup of coffee already, just reduce the amount on my coffee. Sometimes I can't finish my coffee and the ice dilutes the drink badly. P.S. I didn't pay attention, I got my kids two sunset passion with boba, my son noticed that the drink had nearly any boba in the cup. If I didn't started driving, I could of taken a picture to show how little the boba was in the cup, maybe two table spoons full. Mung Bean Milk Tea -- this tastes like a filipino dessert called halo halo to me! It is a liquified version of halo halo. Its very creamy. There is a thick consistency which includes the beans. Sea Cream Jasmine Tea -- the jasmine flavored tea is very strong. Its not too sweet even at 100% sweetness. The boba was normal, it wasn't as chewy or fresh like I usually like my boba. It's about time I wrote a review for 7 leaves since I used to come here so frequently. My usual drink is the House Coffee, but since it's Nov 1 (aka Christmas-time), we had to try the Santa's House Coffee which is basically their take on a peppermint mocha. In short, I love love love loved it!!!!! I'm already a huge fan of Peppermint mocha season at Starbucks and this tasted just as good (if not better), was iced and very creamy. I will 100% be draining my bank account here for the next couple months while they have this drink. And once they don't I'll go back to the house coffee which is still pretty good and if it's a rough day or work/studying, maybe add a few free extra shots (Yes FREE!). I personally am not the biggest fan of their milk teas, but I do like the occasional Sunset passion or strawberry sunset every now and then. Another huge plus about this location for me is the amount of seating inside. The other location on Saratoga has minimal seating, but this one has a long concrete table and many smaller tables scattered around.
