Yifang Signature Fruit Tea, Kyoho Grape Breeze
    Da Kat A.

Their Signature Yifang fruit tea is excellent. It comes with slices of fruit. The tea is fragrant and flavorful. The best fruit tea I've tried. Also tried one of the seasonal item: Kyoho Grape Breeze. It's also good with a slight hint of grape flavor. Would like the grape flavor to be stronger. Their drink is very good, however, this place is super small. There is only one line to enter and come out, and no place to stand around inside while waiting for your drink. It gets congested easily when it is crowded. When you drink is ready, you'll have to squeeze your way through to get inside during peak hours.

Super delicious fruit tea. This place is kind of like a kiosk - order out front on the iPad then they call your number. I had the mango pomelo sago which was marked as the #1 customer favorite. It had real bits of fruit in it and was really delicious. They actually have a huge menu, so I could see that you could go back here many times and try something different each time. They do have a seasonal menu as well, so there would always be something new. I'll definitely return next time I'm in Mountain View and want a cool beverage.

Cute little spot for Taiwanese fruit tea. You order at the kiosk and pick up inside, super easy and efficient. There's no indoor seating, but Castro Street has plenty of tables and spots to sit right outside, which works perfectly. I ordered the sugar cane mountain tea and it was so refreshing, even on a cold winter night. Service was quick, and I'm definitely looking forward to trying their other drinks... although I might be stuck reordering the sugar cane for as long as it's in the menu because it's just that good.

I got the matcha and the green plum tea, and overall it was fine. There wasn't a wow factor other than the fact that the fruit tea actually had a whole plum in it. We ordered through a kiosk, and it was a but of a wait for the drinks to be prepared. There's no real seating from the store, except for the MV tables/seats on the street. Super standard experience!

Yi Fang is a pretty popular boba spot, so we felt that it would be a good choice to satisfy our craving this day. This is our first time visiting this location. It is a small space with no tables or seating inside. There is a self-order kiosk in front. Orders are picked up inside once ready. We ordered a Yakult Pineapple Green Tea and a Kyoho Grape Breeze. Drinks came out fairly quickly. We waited until we got to our car to try them. Unfortunately, the Yakult Pineapple Green Tea top was not sealed properly as it was leaking in the bag we were given to carry the drinks. It was light and refreshing, and the Yakult flavor was subtle. The braised pineapple in the drink was good but difficult to drink through the straw (had to open the top at the end and use a spoon). It was caramelized and kind of tasted like the filling of a pineapple cake. The Kyoho Grape Breeze was okay. Not sure if this is a new drink but it was not on the main menu (it was on a separate flyer). There were grape pieces at the bottom of the drink. Similar to the pineapple, they were hard to drink with the straw. They tasted good, but not sure if I would be able to tell that they are Kyoho grapes. The drink was light and refreshing also. Overall, giving Yi Fang a 3/5. I have had good experiences at other locations in the past and am disappointed by this visit. The Kyoho Grape Breeze was $10 which is pricey for tea. There was no price on the flyer so we did not see the price until checking out on the kiosk. The fruit used in the teas seem good quality though. Not sure if I would visit this location again.

    Fresh Taiwanese Taro Latte

Yummy boba! The taro is a thick almost rice like texture... I wasn't expecting that was it had good flavor! I probably wouldn't get it again because of the texture. My husband got the brown sugar pearl and it was VERY good! I would get that one next time!

The mango sago was good, but I'm concerned about the ordering system requiring a phone number. Immediately after placing my order, I started receiving a flood of spam texts (see screenshot). I can't say for sure it's related, but the timing sure is concerning

The tea here always has fresh fruit and tastes amazing! However at times it could feel a bit pulpy and prices are quite steep. The menu is huge though and is super refreshing on a hot day!

My friend and I came to Yi Fang for boba. Upon arriving, there was a line, but fortunately, the service was lightning fast. Yi Fang offers fully customizable drink options, as well as recommended sweetness levels for their drinks. I had the Brown Sugar Pearl Matcha Latte; it was absolutely delicious. They recommended light sweetness for the matcha, which paired perfectly with the heavily sweetened boba. Yi Fang is truly an authentic Taiwanese boba tea experience that serves good tasting tea without lacing everything with sugar. I would highly recommend Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea, especially at this location.

    Mango Pomelo Sago

Super refreshing drink! Pomelo was slightly too bitter and too much sago for my liking but overall it was pretty solid. The mango coconut combo w the sago was delicious. Self order on iPad-- service was a bit slow but nothing too crazy.

Mango pomelo sago is a must try. Wonderful service and atmosphere. No indoor seating. Drinks can take a while, make sure to order ahead!

Kind of expensive, but really tasty with lots and lots of variety and customization options. First time I was here I had the mango pomelo sago drink, and second time the taro latte. I love taro, but the first drink was actually more special to me. The first time the wait was really really long - like 40 minutes. I get that popularity will lead to long wait times, but it would really be nice if their system gave you an estimated wait time before you ordered so you have a choice whether to move forward or not. The second time was mid-afternoon so basically really quick. I like that you can pick your sweetness levels for most drinks, as well as have a wide variety of add ins. The kiosk ordering is convenient too, esp since the workers are typically so busy cranking out the drinks. I definitely wouldn't want to work here - too high stress. No ambiance to speak of - this place is an order, wait, grab, and go type of place. I can recommend it, but if it's busy, I'd ask how long it will take to get your drinks before you order.

Order via kiosks, wait till you get a ping that your drink is ready, pickup, be surprised at how small the cup is, but then enjoy the tea. Waited about 5 minutes for my drink. My husband put in his order at ume 20 minutes before I did and his drink wasn't even ready when we walked there 30 mins later!

The classic fruit tea tastes like pure syrup, no tea flavor at all. Very disappointing!

Nice location - lots of parking and we love to have found a Vietnamese coffee place. I typically get the egg coffee but decided to go with their new Peanut Butter Latte and I'm so glad I did. It comes already with oat milk which is perfect. I will say - for the large the ratio on cream to coffee was little off. I'd prefer less of the cream and more coffee but it was still delicious and refreshing - not too sweet and had a lot of the PB flavor. Hubby got the Pandan Matcha. He loved it - though it was a bit too sweet for him so he waited for the ice to melt a bit. Not sure if we could have adjusted the sweetness. Youngest got the Banana Latte and devoured it quickly. Fair to say I think she really enjoyed it! Nice that they are so close to us now. Will definitely be one of our go to for Vietnamese coffee!!

I like how they have different kind of drinks from alcohol to coffees to teas and more. Eh service, especially after my experience. I was intrigued by their matcha drinks and Salted Cream Jasmine Tea. I ended up picking the latter. My drink took a pretty long time to get - last in my group, but eventually they called out my order. When I finally got it, it was very dark like coffee, so I asked the employee, if this was my order - the Salted Cream Jasmine Tea. She double checked and confirmed the name and drink. I was still skeptical about it, but since the employee confirmed it was order, we just left after we all got our drinks. After leaving, I tried my drink (which I should had before I left) and it was definitely coffee and it was super strong (I do not like or drink coffee at all). It was not worth going back, so I just tossed it after only 2 sips, which was a bummer because it was almost $8 drink and they gave me the wrong drink, even though I double checked with them.

Okay but... a hotel coffee shop with good matcha? That's the plot twist I didn't know I needed…read more We stopped here on my way out of Santa Clara heading to San Francisco -- it's conveniently close to a bunch of other spots, and since it's tucked inside a hotel, parking was ridiculously easy. (Underrated luxury.) Now, the hotel itself? Visually... a moment. It looked like someone invested serious money into it, but the design felt a little space-meets-startup-meets-what's-happening-here. Some elements felt elevated, others felt a bit makeshift. I genuinely couldn't tell what the theme was -- futuristic? celestial? boutique-on-a-budget? I'm still processing. The front desk team was clearly well-trained and knowledgeable -- they had every answer, every stat, every rate breakdown ready. But the warmth? Missing. I was hoping for a little storytelling since I'd never heard of the hotel before, and instead got a very matter-of-fact "we've been here five years" energy. Efficient, yes. Inviting, not quite. But let's talk about why you're really here: the coffee shop. Completely different vibe. Two people working, both genuinely happy, welcoming, and quick. We ordered a latte and a matcha to go -- total was about $22, which made me blink for a second -- but then I tasted the matcha. Oh. This wasn't the overly sweet, dusty-green situation you sometimes get. It tasted clean. Real. High-quality. The kind of matcha that feels intentional. I love Firehouse in Marin, but this? This was closer to serious coffee roaster-level quality. Smooth, organic-tasting, beautifully balanced. You could tell they care about what they're serving. Branding was strong, the space was cute, and I could absolutely see myself sitting there with my laptop pretending I'm writing something important. We grabbed ours to go, but it had that easy, airy, "stay awhile" energy. Would I book the hotel? Jury's still out. They don't have an in-house spa and mentioned bringing in third-party services for certain amenities, which made it feel a little less full-service than I expected. Would I go back for the coffee shop? Without hesitation. Delicious drinks, easy parking, quick service, and a vibe that actually makes you want to come back. Sometimes the side character steals the show -- and in this case, it's 100% the matcha.

Because, once again, I was distracted by the quality of the food, and there would be no way for me to do anything else, but to eat! Today, I was in the mood for something more than a salad (much as I wanted to preset what I had the first time coming here, I made a concerted effort to order something else...), thus I chose the Forager Flatbread. It took less time to make this time (roughly about five minutes after ordering), and when it came out, I marveled at how it looked like a work of art! Just beautiful! Each piece of herbed formage blanc flatbread had a nice, crunchy bottom (but not blackened) and a slightly tanginess, with a a good amount of "hen-of-the-wood" mushrooms, sweet roasted garlic and a bed of arugula. My, oh, my! My first bite was a multi-level extravaganza! The crunch of the bread, followed by the aroma of the herbs and arugula, then the saltiness of the cheese, the sweetness of the roasted garlic, the earthiness of the mushrooms - all came together as just a wonderful work of culinary art! This being my first time eating today, my saliva glands just fired off at first bite, causing a bit of intense pain from too much saliva shooting out. But, seriously, this was a very delicious entree, that I enjoyed from start to finish! Bravo for this second joyous experience!
