Scheduling my appointment online was super easy, and I received both text and email confirmations right away. On the day of my appointment, there was a small hiccup and my appointment didn't initially show up in their system. That said, the staff handled it with grace and took great care of me anyway. They completed my road trip package oil change and even applied a military discount, which I truly appreciated. I didn't wait at the dealership, and about three hours later I received a call letting me know my vehicle was ready. Customer service was pleasant, efficient, and stress-free, which is exactly what you hope for when you're mid-road trip. While I didn't receive the photo point inspection I've experienced at some other Subaru dealerships, I was still very satisfied with the service overall. Payment was easy, and they accept credit cards. Thank you, Hughes Subaru, for making an unexpected stop along my journey a smooth and positive experience.

I hung up on him and called Hughes Subaru in Athens. Cole was very respectful, he did not have the Parts I was looking for however, he did refer me to Troncalli in Cumming. He stated he pulled up their inventory and they had what i was looking for in stock. Thank you Cole and thank you Hughes Subaru!!!

This includes Matt in Parts, Beau in Service, and one of the owners that I chatted with today, Mr. Hammond. I wanted to purchase a tow hitch for my new 2024 Telly and the dealership where I purchased was less than accommodating after the sales to the point I started shopping around for a dealership that would become my go-to for service. Some dealerships even told me it was not even available although I shared a letter from KIA US that outlined the details around tow hitches for 23/24 Tellurides. I found Bulldog Kia fit the bill with my first interaction with Matt, the Parts Manager. Matt is incredibly personable and engaging to the point he may be Bulldog's best salesperson. Beau in service was helpful and answered my all my questions prior to me even ordering the hitch from Matt. Once the tow hitch came in (and much faster than I expected) Christina called to schedule the install appointment. I arrived at my scheduled day and time and was quickly checked in and within a couple of hours, my Telluride had its hitch professional installed at a fair price. As I was waiting around, I had one gentleman ask me if I needed assistance because I was lurking in the check-in area watching the work on my hitch, I said no and we struck up a conversation only to find out it was James Hammond one of the owners working and interacting with customers. Having a local engaged owner who interacts with customers is impressive in this day and age so I applaud this owner and the entire Bulldog team in Athens. Now, my only thought is how do I turn back time so I could have purchased the Telluride from them in the first place? PS: I gotta give an extra shoutout to Matt for the nice surprise he left in my car when the work was done, you will see me wearing the KIA hat that he left in the Telly. Thx again Matt!

My 84‑year‑old widowed mother went in for what she believed was a routine oil change--only because they mailed her a coupon claiming it was "time" for service. Her last oil change was done six months prior, and she had only driven 1,100 miles since then. Once she arrived, they told her she "needed" new spark plugs and quoted her $150. Instead, they charged her $600, including an astonishing $450 in labor for spark plugs on a 2013 Kia with only 85,000 miles. Folks, that's a 30-60 minute job you can do at home! She bought and serviced her vehicle with them for years, and this is how they treated her the moment she walked in alone. What should have been a simple visit turned into a $780 bill for an oil change and spark plugs, neither of which she needed. They should have turned her around and told her to come back in six months. This kind of behavior toward an elderly, loyal customer is deeply concerning and feels predatory. Please be cautious before agreeing to any service here. Get everything in writing and double‑check the pricing.
