But then I discovered this little gem! This is a smaller market, but I find this to be less overwhelming then the larger ones. There were a lot of farms I was unfamiliar with and they were all very friendly and had plenty of variety to choose from. The prices here are in most cases almost 50% cheaper then what I've seen at Hope St. We walked away with some delicious and sweet corn that was only 35¢ an ear, patty pan squash for 50¢ each, pint of cherry tomatoes for $1.50 . . . you get the idea. We had a fantastic dinner when we got home! So mad at myself for not finding this market sooner, it will certainly make it's way into my weekly shopping routine.

Her customer service skills are nonexistent and not here at all. it's extremely rude to assume we were stealing apples when we obviously had a bag with the logo of the farm. Why would anyone jump to the conclusion that we were stealing? I definitely didn't like the experience and I won't be coming back here. I would rather take my business elsewhere where I can shop in peace and enjoy family time. If they're going to be this unhappy and rude, don't work at a farm. Simple. Won't be coming back to this especially if blondie wants to be so rude.

Across the street is a picturesque white clapboard historic church, and a cozy library. This all makes for a lovely setting for the Scituate Rotary Farmers Market. Each Saturday from 9-12 you can shop from not only local fruit, vegetable, and meat farmers, but you can also purchase handmade foraged art photo prints, goat milk soap, a variety of crocheted items, plants, flowers, and so much more. There is often live music, baked goods to savor, and sometimes food trucks. This is the perfect Saturday morning place, and you can also stroll through the lovely shops and cafes of North Scituate after perusing the farmer's market.
