The owner Chad answered the call and was very patient listening to my explanation of the problem. He clearly knew what was needed and we scheduled a day and time. The day before our scheduled appointment I asked Chad if he would be able to replace my garbage disposal, no problem. I took a picture of the existing disposal and sent it to Chad. Chad arrived on time and I appreciated his assessment and on what would be done. He installed the pressure regulator with copper piping and recommended if I would like to have a water outlet installed. Great location Great idea! Chad also replaced an old hose bibb valve that was stuck to the hose. The garbage disposal installation went well and his assistant showed me where the reset on button is located as well as what to do if the blades are jammed. Faced with such a stressful and inconvenient situation, we called (as we have done in the past) Rayo Plumbing. My mother left a message on morning of Tues 6/23, they returned our call later that day, and thankfully we were able to secure an appointment for this morning, Wed 6/24. Brandon was punctual and arrived at 9:00am. We again shared our problem with our sink and that the water didn't drain, and he got right work diagnosing the problem and set to work on resolution. He "snaked" the drain, was able to remove any "problem" which led to the clog, and restored the faucet and sink t working order. He was also able to resolve a leaky faucet in our secondary bathroom. We originally had a leaky shower faucet (we have a two knob handle thing and did not want to tear into our wall to fix it). When CJ arrived he checked out the main water valve and pressure. My feeling was that CJ was honest and good, so I also decided to tell him about an additional job- a toilet that was both running and stopping up. (It wasn't on my dire need list, as I'd been used to workarounds for years... but it was also an inefficient & irksome problem) He let us know the options between fixing the existing or getting a new one with a more powerful flush. I chose to get a new toilet installed, because his price felt reasonable and our house is over 50 years old.. so it's "time" for change. The installation took him a little longer than expected as the original installation age and technique, offered inherent challenges. Incidentally, I had a bidet attachment on it and told I'd install it myself (as it wasn't something factored into his quote) CJ fixed the leaky faucet and installed the new toilet, threw in complimentary parts to improve the current condition of its surroundings and efficient operation (vs what we originally had) AND reattached my bidet attachment! I have never seen that type of toilet flush before and I'm very pleased with the overall service I got CJ has a friendly local but professional demeanor, is courteous and knows his stuff and plumbing codes. 1- We liked that CJ offered a two year warranty on his work. Immediate peace of mind. 2- We also appreciated that his invoices let you know what work he's done, so you can understand your repair (and he documents 'after' photographs).
