My Oh My, Hi So Thai! Hungry randomn stop as I passed this thai restaurant. Even though the street parking for this lotless corner location was extremely difficult my hunger was pleasantly pleased. The customerless culturally decorated dining room is surprisingly spacious with the bar on one side and a more family oriented dining area on the other separated by arched entrances. I placed my order at the bar and waited about 10-15 for my takeout order. We ordered pad thai and pad see ew. Both dishes were almost a 5 star rating, IMO. The pad thai was light with minimal oil which I liked but it could have used a little more flavor. The pad see ew was flavorful but the noodles were sticking together. Both dishes lacked amount of noodles compared to order restaurants I have ordered from. I would give Hi So Thai another try when in the area.

This place was overall was okay. Nothing to write home about. We ordered wings ($8) and duck rolls ($9) to start with. The rolls were full of veggies rather than meat, just meh. The wings were actually really good. I would order those again. We then ordered phad see ew with pork ($14) and drunken noodles with shrimp ($15) Phad see ew was decent. The drunken noodles could've been skipped. Noodles were hard and had 4 shrimp in the dish. More veggies than noodles and meat. Overall the food was okay. The service was great though. Very attentive server. The ambiance is not to be found. The place is so outdated.

Authentic Thai food with generous portion sizes? Sign me up! So happy to have finally found a good Thai place that delivers in Weehawken. The steamed chicken dumplings were delicious and surprisingly large for an appetizer. I'll definitely order them again! I order chicken pad thai pretty much anytime I get thai food, and Hi-So's dish was filled with plenty of chicken (nothing worse than a pad Thai dish that barely has any protein). Looking forward to ordering from here again and dining in as well.

I was ready for scarf food down, so alas no food pictures. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick. I would say the flavors overall were very good with generous portion sizes. Our appetizers, the calamari and the duck spring rolls, were solid overall. The calamari could have used a lighter batter and perhaps just a bit less cooking. The duck spring rolls needed some extra flavor. The Pad Thai and Drunken Noodle were both very good. The side of mixed greens was a bit too heavily salted in my mind, and the Penang curry seemed a bit thin. Would totally come back if I'm in the area in the future!

Really great Thai option. We've always done take out from here but tonight we decided to dine in. We were the only ones in the restaurant on a Friday night, which is most likely due to a lack of foot traffic. The food came out all at once and it was piping hot and delicious. Chicken Pad Thai was great and the Thai bamboo shrimp was perfectly cooked and fresh. Server came over multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed and filled our waters. It's byob also which is always a huge plus. They accept credit cards contrary to the yelp note that they are cash only.

I stopped ordering a couple months ago as I felt the food was inconsistent here but decided to give them another shot this week and honestly might add this spot back to my weekly rotation! We ordered Shrimp Pad Thai (with extra peanuts) and Beef Pad See-Ew. Also chicken Tom kha soup! Everything came hot and fresh- it was pretty good!! I'm nervous it won't be consistent but will report back!!

I was really excited when I found a 4-star rated Thai restaurant in this area but was quickly disappointed when the food arrived. We ordered via GrubHub at 6:30 ish on a Thursday night, and it did come 20 minutes before its quoted time, so I'll give them that. I ordered the jungle chicken wings for an app, which were actually not bad. Salty, sweet, sour, garlicky - it was the perfect app. I was really craving some noodles and I haven't found a place in NJ that does a good Pad Thai so I decided to go with something safe like drunken noodles. What was not safe was my choice of protein. I decided to go rogue and get meatballs and they literally tasted like frozen meatballs from BJ's. I know because I bought a giant bag of them a few months ago, got really sick of it and only just recently finished them - so the moment I bit into one of those meatballs, I already knew what it was. Aside from the wholesale clubhouse meatballs, I felt the portion was kind of small, compared to other Thai restaurants in the area. There were barely any noodles. It was probably half veggies and half noodles, which I kind of appreciate but am also kind of mad at at the same time. Yes, I do need to eat more veggies, but if I'm ordering takeout, that is my chance to be unhealthy and I want all the noodles I can get. Also, the flavor was more like pad see ew (non spicy and on the sweeter side) so if you want something spicy, this ain't it. Maybe I didn't order the right dish but the meatball situation is unforgivable. If I do order from here again, I definitely know what I am not ordering.

It looks like they do a lot of takeout, but because of parking, not a lot of dine in. That's a shame because the food is great! I walked down from the hotel and got myself some takeout for dinner. It has a little bit of spice as is, but if you ask, they'll make it totally mild for you. I got basil, fried rice and the spring rolls and they were both excellent.

Thai iced coffee at the harbor. So good and strong.

The three of us stopped in during lunch special hours and ordered the Spicy Drunken Noodles, Spicy Thai Fried Rice, and the Mammasan Curry. Every lunch special comes with a small salad topped with peanut dressing and a miniature spring roll, which was a nice bonus for the price. We noticed they didn't automatically provide any sauces, including soy sauce or a dipping sauce for the spring roll. We could have asked, but we were already digging into our meals and decided not to bother. The food was flavorful, well-portioned, and arrived quickly. The lunch specials are an especially good deal at $12 for chicken, tofu, or vegetable dishes and $13 for beef, shrimp, or squid. Even the regular menu prices seemed very reasonable. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side and isn't particularly stylish or designed for a special occasion. The back portion of the dining area appears to double as storage space, with boxes and containers visible throughout. That said, the service was friendly and attentive, and the quality of the food more than made up for the simple surroundings. If you're looking for a quick, affordable Thai lunch or a reliable takeout option, T Thai is definitely worth checking out.

They were ok but just didn't hit the wow factor like it did back then. Little pricey, not the same folks when I was last there, kinda kept to themselves. Honestly, not sure if I'll order from here again. Sorry guys.

While they do have lunch specials, we ended up ordering regular sizes of our dishes for $4 more, based on reviews here that said the lunch portions were very small. We got sesame chicken, general tso chicken, vegetable lo mein, and wontons in spicy sauce (very spicy). We also wanted a couple traditional American-chinese egg rolls but they have the mini ones - they remind me more of spring rolls. We got an order of 6 but they weren't my favorite. Our tab was $76, ready for pick up in $15 minutes. I miss the days when an order like this would have cost $50 or less. While we did get two full meals out of it (lunch and leftover dinner the next day) - its still expensive for what it is... It met expectations. Everything was good - but its pretty hard to mess up the dishes we got. Funny enough, as I'm posting this, I see my last review was about 6 years ago and it was $50 for a slightly smaller order and even then I thought it was oh the pricier side!
