I have been taking my car to Hi-Tech Automotive for years. I have always gotten the absolute best service. I usually take mine to the Congress location since it is closer to my work and they have done a fantastic job. I recently had to bring it to the Oak Hill location since I needed the work done right away and I am beyond impressed. Maan was very accommodating, kind, and great with all his customers. He kept me in the loop about all the services and repairs my car needed and called me before doing any kind of repairs. He went the extra mile to find the cheapest part (a motor for my car window), which in an old car like mine, is not easy to do. He was friendly, funny, and just an overall great person. The location was very clean and not busy at all. I was seen right away and explained everything that was done to my car. He kept the lines of communication open and clear. Will DEFINITELY be bringing my car here forever (although the Congress location is still great)! Highly recommend this repair shop for all your car needs. 10/10. I used to take my car to the Hi Tech in Kyle several years back, and Mann always took good care of my car. When I moved, I stopped going there due to the distance and have bounced around from shop to shop looking for a good, trustworthy mechanic. Two weeks ago I was in a car accident and needed MAJOR front end repairs. With help I was able to track down Mann and found that he had opened a Hi Tech in Oak Hills: I knew that no one else would be able to repair my car like Mann and his crew. I picked up my car last evening and it looks and runs like new! Mann and his crew did an awesome job fixing my beloved George the Subaru. Even though I live in Paige, I am going to make sure that I take George to Mann for all maintenance and repairs. I took my husband's truck into the Hi-Tech location on Hwy 290 for an oil change, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received!! My husband uses full synthetic oil in his Dodge truck, and I was expecting this visit to come with a hefty price tag - I was astonished to see what a reasonable price I was charged for a full synthetic oil change! I was also blown away when the mechanic who completed the oil change told me about a few issues the truck has that need to be fixed - they even checked the brakes!! And they were so professional when they told me about the issues that the truck has, there were absolutely no pushy sales or scare tactics, they just said, these are some issues you should definitely look into fixing. I drive past Hi Tech Automotive regularly but had never had occasion to stop before last week. Wow! Maan Melhem's repair shop is exactly the sort of home-owned business we all hope for . . . but rarely find. Quick, courteous, clean and efficient, these folks are true professionals. I only had a small job needing attention, but even without an appointment, the technicians had me in and out so rapidly -- and at a next-to-nothing price! -- that I almost wished I needed more work done. (And from what I overheard from a couple of other customers while there, the bigger jobs get completed to customers' total satisfaction, too.) I've just found my new "go-to" auto repair place. I am so thrilled to have found Maan and Hi Tech. Maan is such a kind, considerate person who tells you the truth of what is going on with your car and gets it fixed quickly. He is also very funny and generous! I just moved to this area and was very happy to find a mechanic that I can trust. I visited the shop on my way home on a 105 degree summer day bc my check engine light came on. They were nice,and clean cut... the office attendant gave me a bottle of water and asked me if i had recently pumped gas. I thought that was an odd question, but actually YES, i had. just 5 mins ago. They went outside looked at the car, and my gas cap was not screwed on properly. they tightened it and my check engine light went away :) Thank you Hi-Tech! Hi-tech auto exceeded my expectations with fantastic customer service and did great work on my 2005 Scion tC for front suspension damage. They offered me a reliable loaner car to get me through the week at a low price of $10 a day. They also worked with my insurance company to keep costs down on the repairs. After getting my car back and driving it around I am happy with the results. Everything feels tight and my car is no longer pulling to the right nor do I have anymore alignment problems. When someone stole the catalytic converter off of my Prius, and I found out it would cost $1800 to replace it, I was in a jam. I didn't have the money and I had no way to get to school. Mr. Melhem stepped in, gave me a loaner car to get to school, and allowed me to make payments on the repairs. Thanks to Hi-Tech Automotive my Prius is good as new, I was able to afford the repairs, and I didn't have to miss any more class. Think I've found my mechanic! I love taking my car here! Hi-tech goes the extra mile to give a great customer experience. They have done my inspections, oil changes, battery replacement. I took my car in about a month ago to have some repairs done. The manager was super helpful in explaining what was wrong and offered me a loaner car until my car was ready. The location is clean and the workers are professional. My car needed a lot of work, but it was ready to go a few days later with no problems. I was advised by the dealership that the oil pressure was bad on my car and given an estimate for $3500 to replace the timing kit after paying them 130 to perform a diagnostic. I spoke to Hi-Tech and they gave me a much better fair estimate for the same work and advised me on checking to make sure that this was really the issue. After this I found my problem was an inexpensive sensor that I replaced in 15 minutes. read more
