After having a good experience getting my TV fixed by this company under warranty earlier this year. I started having problems with my TV again and called them to get my TV serviced. It was determined that a tech would need to come home and diagnose the problem for a charge. I agreed and proceeded to schedule a tech visit. After waiting for the tech to show up at the time agreed, the tech called me to let me know he got tied up and asked if we could reschedule for the next day. We did, and tech confirmed that he would be here between 10 and 12 PM. I proceeded to move around my schedule to make sure I would be home for the tech's visit, around 10 AM I reached out to the tech to confirm he was on his way and he texted me that he would not be able to make it until after 3 PM. Not what we had agreed on. I communicated to him that I made arrangements to make sure I would be here at the time agreed and he never responded. I called the main office and they told me to expect a call from the tech, The tech never called me or responded to my call. At 3:30 PM, I call the main office and tried to get an explanation of what happened but I was just told that they were going to reach to the tech again. I just cancelled the request. Warning SEXIST RACIST MAN.... They lied to me in my own home, saying that they would report to LG that my TV had no fix. I got sick with COVID a few days later I don't leave my house and haven't had any visitors because of the new COVID strain since I suffer from sever asthma yet got sick with COVID after this technicians visit. I had no energy or strength to get out of bed. When I did feel better I called LG I needed a working TV SINCE I can't any longer visit the cinema, And during my recovery I noticed how important it was to have a working tv that's didn't feel like it was going to cause me a Seizure. Our 2-year LG side-by-side refrigerator formally died on Sunday night. Contacted our original purchase place which was Best Buy who were helpful enough to let us know there was a recall on the compressor from LG. Contacted LG, they were so/so with support and couldn't make it out to fix the system for a week. Contacted Hi-Tech, live person (Tony) answered the phone, discussed cost and what they needed from us to establish the warranty claim and recall claim. Stated the tech would be out between 2-5 and like clock work the tech (Travis) contacted us to share eta, arrived on time and fix the refrigerator within an hour. Works great and we didn't lose our frozen foods. I highly recommend this company for they were timely, priced right and service was excellent. read more

My refrigerator just stopped getting cold all of a sudden this week. I was referred to Sean at Hi-Tex Electronics by a friend of mine. I called him to schedule an appointment for service when he asked me to send a picture of the display and the model number.He called me back told me to just press two buttons on the display at the same time and I heard the motor pop on. Sean is a good and honest guy who knows his job. In times like these we need more people like him in the world. He could've easily charge me $80 to come out here for a diagnosis plus for service but he is a honest guy and did me and my family a big favor.If I ever need his service for the future I won't hesitate. read more

Absolute worst customer service I've received. I called this place about having my oven fixed. They sent out a tech (who was actually very nice) to figure out what needed to be done. He explained the oven door needed new hinges and it would have to be ordered. The next day they told me that they had to order 2 of the same part number bc only one hinge came in a set. It was $125 per set...$250 total. They then told me that it would be 3 hours of labor to fix it at something like $75/hour. I explained to them that I didn't believe it should take that long to fix a hinge and they said I can't get mad at what they charge and if their guy only takes 20 mins to fix it, they wouldn't refund any of the labor cost. I was shocked at this point. I explained that this was bad business and their employee engaged into a back and forth with me which eventually turned into a full out argument. He said they weren't going to fix my oven at all. When I asked for a refund, he said that he wasn't sure if I'd be refunded. After all of this, I found the part online myself. It was $125 for the set of hinges (which included both of the hinges). I installed it myself and it took me (someone who has never done this before) 30 minutes. Technician name George came to repair my LG Stove as the stove is not heating up properly. He did have any knowledge about LG Stove. He had to call LG Customer Service to figure out how to fix the problem. At the end he could not fix the issue. I called the owner of Hi-Tek Electronics and never got call back. I had to call LG to get another technician firm to look the issue. Please get another technician company if you ever need help with LG appliances. Raj V read more

Beware with this co. service was ok, however, they will charge you a service call fee, plus labor & parts. Many companies if you agree to do the job on the SAME visit will not charge service call fee since they are already charging you the time for labor because technically the service call is the same exact time they are charging for labor which in my case was $85.00 for 15mins plus $65.00 for service call. I nicely spoke with owner Shawn but he refused to adjust. Bottom line I should not be charged 2x for the same exact time. read more

I called High Tech Electronics and they were able to help me and diagnose the problem and fix it within a week. The gentleman was very honest and straightforward and help walk me through the process. This company's customer service personnel is rude and unprofessional. All they had to do was come out and fix my stove I purchased from Sears. I had a 5yr warranty but I've only had stove for 2yrs. They came out and looked at stove and told me parts would be ordered and that they would return to fix it when part comes. The next day they tell me they can't come and fix it because technician saw a few bug's. They saw a few bugs not an infestation. My stove was clean, my house was clean. So what I have a few bugs I have 8 grandkids that drop crumbs occasionally but my house is clean. Who don't have a few bugs. But because they saw 3 at the most they can't fix my stove. They used that excuse not to fix my stove that I paid a lot of money with a warranty. Sears warranty is a joke and so is this repair company. Their appliance's don't hold up a yr and they use the bug excuse not to honor warranty. Customer service rep Mr. Tony was very rude and didn't care. Who's to say it was a bug and not a faulty stove. I asked how much was part to see if I can pay out of pocket and just the parts cost more than the stove w/warranty. Sears warranty is a joke and so is this HI TEK ELECTRONICS. SEARS HAS FAULTY APPLIANCE'S AND HI TEK ELECTRONICS IS A RIP OFF WITH RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING AGAIN FROM SEARS NOR WILL I RECOMMEND ANY OF THESE 2 COMPANIES BECAUSE THERE WORKING TOGETHER AND NOT FOR THE GOOD OF THE CUSTOMER. VERY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I recently had a problem with a non-cooling fridge, and these guys were tremendous! From my first call, they gave me expert advise regarding contacting the manufacturer and getting this handled as a warranty claim. Both Sean and Todd in the office were on top of this with me, and LG stood behind their warranty. They covered both parts and labor. Around 4 pm the very same day, their technician, Travis, showed up on the job, complete with PPE, and prepared with both the compressor and evaporator that my unit needed. He worked diligently, and was able to complete the repair in just about 90 minutes. When I got up the next morning, the refrigerator temperature was a perfect 37 degrees. This was four days ago, and the fridge is still working perfectly, indicating that no "short cuts" were taken. Travis is an exceptional young man, with an exceptional office staff to support him. I suspect that exceptional employees are the norm for this service group, and I'd say that you can't go wrong when you have them working for you!! read more

He is knowledgable about a wide variety of televisions and appliances, very kind, well spoken, a quick worker, and was a pleasure to deal with. I would put 0 stars if I could!!! The worst customer service I've ever gotten with any company. The service tech called at 3:10pm and said he would be at my house in 40 minutes and then 5:00pm came around and he never called back or showed up and I had to call them back. Then I had to call back 2 days later both times I called I was put on hold over 5 minutes and was told someone would call me back and that never happened. I am reporting the to BBB and LG so they don't tell their customers to call them. read more
