I decided late last night to get my smog done early this morning before work, so I Yelped a few places and requested quotes. Will got back to me pretty quickly and the price was very reasonable compared to all the other places that responded. I popped in first thing this morning and spoke with Will, they got my car in instantly. I forgot my renewal letter from the DMV , but Will figured out what he needed based on my previous registration letter. Inwas in and out in 10 minutes or so. I usually pass by this place when I drive around Fullerton and thought I'd check it out when I needed a smog check. So today I came here to get a smog check and I got nothing but top-notch service! Will and Chong were extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable and it seems like they knew what they were doing. It was also nice that they had a station where you can charge your phone while you wait. I can say that I was probably in and out in about 15 min. I had to get a SMOG check, and I found this place on Yelp. They were super quick. It literally took just 5 minutes because there was no wait. I parked in the wrong place, and the young man who worked there was so kind because he moved my car to where it was supposed to go when he saw I had already gotten out with my toddler (instead of me walking back and buckling my son in his car seat again). I'm not sure why this place doesn't have more 5 star reviews. I am very picky where I go and I am happy I chose this place. The owner is a very nice and trustworthy person. He is also veteran friendly! I got my smog today and it got passed within 10-15 minutes (may be different for you based on wait times). I called numerous of places before coming here and everywhere else was way too high. The price was so reasonable here. If you don't pass, keep in mind that you do not get charged. Most other places will charge for a retest. Why waste your time somewhere else on places like those? Overall, great owner and great service. I'll be sure to recommend people I know! read more

Hi Tek Auto is the best smog check place in Orange County by far! Been coming here for years to get Smog checks and any Auto related maintenance and problems. The owners must be really experienced in the Smog Check and Auto Repair industry. They pretty much fix any car problems and handle all Smog tests. Star certified is a must these days, and Hi Tek Auto got it! Don't be fooled by these fancy looking Auto shops that don't know how to anything correctly. If I could give them zero I would. They tried burning me and husband saying we needed both oxygen sensors replaced to pass smog. I thought it was weird since we didn't have a check engine light. So we went to my honest mechanic who hooked us up up to the computer to see exactly what we needed done and our car was perfectly fine. And guess what? We passed smog.
