I had already purchased an OEM replacement handle from an authorized Honda parts dealer, and initially planned to have the dealership install it. However, the dealership quoted me a very high labor cost and required me to leave my car overnight due to their busy schedule. After doing some research, I found Action Auto in Cypress and spoke with Mark. From the very first phone call, Mark was friendly, professional, and transparent. Best of all, his quote was about half the price of what the dealership wanted to charge. The convenience was a huge bonus. They told me I could bring my car in anytime between 8am-5pm (and even Sundays 8am-3pm). I dropped off my car at 8:30am, and it was ready by lunchtime the same day. On top of that, they even offered a complimentary shuttle ride home--something the dealership no longer provides. The entire experience was smooth and stress-free. Mark's customer service was outstanding both over the phone and in person. The shop itself was clean and well-organized, and I noticed several repeat customers while I was there, which says a lot about their reputation. Most importantly, my door handle works perfectly now--just like when I first bought the car. I'll definitely be coming back to Action Auto for future repairs. When I questioned the amount after receiving a different quote, one of the individuals I spoke with even commented that the price "seemed a little high," but stated that it was the amount provided by management. Additionally, your response states that pricing is predetermined and not set by your staff. While I understand that there are fixed state fees for documentation and registration, your business also charges service or business fees, which are determined by your company and contribute to your revenue. As a business that has operated successfully for 25 years, it is clear that these fees are part of your business model. My intention is not to argue, but simply to set the record straight regarding my experience and the information that was provided to me throughout this process.

The gentleman on the phone said the transmission fluid is for life unless I'm towing or carrying heavy loads. When I questioned why I see that it's recommended online he says that dealers will recommend this service all day but if you check the Toyota maintenance manual it says you don't need it. Man! I haven't even been to this shop yet and I'm already getting a good feeling about this place. It's a bit more expensive for an oil change than other places that have quoted me, but I like that they use factory parts including Toyota oil filters. I'll update this review once I get the car in for my first visit. Stay tuned.... 6/29/26 - Brought my Sienna in for an oil change + complimentary 30-point inspection (since it was my first time there). Jared took the van for a spin, brought it back and lifted it up. They found a little oil seepage coming out of the transfer case. I let them know that I did see a transfer case drain/fill on the CarFax report before I bought it. Jared thinks they just didn't torque it properly so they were going to retorque and clean up around the area and keep an eye on it. Worst case scenario, they would need to order a new drain plug gasket and I'd have to come back to get it replaced. Thankfully, the drain plug just needed to get tightened. I was in and out in almost exactly an hour just as Robert promised. Thanks The Toy Shop team!! Pro Tip: they are booked out at least a week in advanced so make your appointment ASAP!

I pulled in to this place, the guy pulled my car into the testing area and we began to chat as he was getting my car ready. When I finally settled in to do some reading, he was already pulling my car out. I was done; he had run the check while we were talking. Before I could even gather all my stuff, he was handing me the certificate, charging me the amount we agreed on with no nonsense or upselling and sending me on my way. Quickest, most effortless smog I've ever had and right in my neighborhood. Cheapest smog check station ive been to. Sure, I was cynical about the reviews on this place. That's alotta stars for an emissions tester. Well, it deserves every one of them. This place does everything right. It's a quick test, no wait, friendly staff--the guy even made funny faces to entertain my antsy two year old. The people working here at this facility truly do have a passion for smogging vehicles. They are very knowledgeable of smogging cars. They are extremely fast. They hold there value of there name First Class Service. I will definitely be returning back for my future smog checks along with referring my people here for smog checks if they ever need one. The service I requested was definitely met and much more. They offer snacks, water as you wait. I never been to a smog check station where they offer you snacks and water as you wait for your smog check. Highly recommend this place to anyone that needs a smog check. Even though I figured it would be pretty busy, I called over to the shop and Harold said he could get me in right away. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I also really appreciated that they accept walk-ins, which made it super convenient. I went for a smog check and came out in less than 20 minutes. The technician, George, greet me and checked me in. He was informing me throughout the process. While I was waiting for the job in the waiting room, George offered me ice cold Coke. I was very pleased with his service and from now on George is the guy for all my smog's.
